RIHA – The Justice Vigil of the Şenyaşar family, which started on March 9, 2021 in front of the Riha Court, has reached its 527th day. The mother and her son left their home in Pirsus a little later and came to Riha Court because of the phone conversation with Fadil Şenyaşar, who is being held alone in prison. Since August 8, the police have not allowed the family to stand in the shade at the entrance of the courthouse. The family started a vigil with the City Coordination Board (İKK) of TMOOB.
“UNTIL JUSTICE IS DONE WE WILL NOT LEAVE HERE”
Ferit Şenyaşar spoke about the interruption of the vigil and said: “The Vigil of Justice has been going on for 527 days. After our watch was interfered with on July 8, we keep watch with a civil organization every day. There is a truth and there was a massacre in the State Hospital of Pirsus. It has been 4 years since the secret decision about the case. Everyone sees this injustice. As soon as a mother stands guard in front of the court, this shame will remain as a shame for all state authorities. We want this shame to be removed immediately. One of our brothers has been arrested illegally. If justice was done, our brothers would be with us. We have the right, so we will win. We will not leave until justice is done.”
