“Intense clashes took place between the genocidal Turkish army and our forces, which launched a comprehensive invasion operation against the Tendurek area of Serhed on August 16, 2022. In the ensuing conflicts, heavy blows were dealt to the enemy and our comrades Evîndar and Eylem, who fought to their last breath, reached martyrdom. These valuable comrades, who have made an incomparable effort for the development of women’s guerrillaism in the Serhed area, have succeeded in becoming an exemplary YJA Star militant with their clear stance on the line of women’s freedom.

Our comrade Evîndar was born in a patriotic family in Çaldıran district of Wan. She had the chance to get to know our movement early, as she came from a family that had martyrs in our freedom struggle and paid a price. Our comrade, who studied computer programming at the university in Agirî, became more aware of the reality of the fascist and invading enemy when she started university. Our comrade Evîndar, who started to recognize her enemy, began to seek struggle. She found the answer to her search by reading the defenses of Leader Apo. The free female personality that Leader Apo wants to reveal is the female personality that our comrade Evîdar dreams about. She was aware that she had to fight to achieve this dream. Our comrade Evîndar, who embarked on the struggle with the principle of unity of thought-action, took part in youth work for a while. Although our comrade had a successful practice in youth work, she did not find it sufficient for herself. She believed her participation should be larger and more meaningful. She realized the difficulty of waging a meaningful struggle without realizing a total break with the system. She decided to join the ranks of freedom, the guerrilla life that she had researched and wondered about a lot. She joined the guerrilla ranks in 2011 to fulfill her historical duty during the intense period of our war, which entered a new phase within the framework of the Revolutionary People’s War Strategy.
Our comrade Evîndar stated that the life and comradeship of the PKK is a legend among the people and the youth; expresses that this truth will be met and felt only by joining the ranks. The issue that attracted the attention of our comrade Evîndar the most, was the bond of comradeship that embodied Leader Apo’s paradigm. She realizes herself as a woman with the ideology of Leader Apo. In this sense, she analyzed herself and made herself a will by revealing her own power. Whatever has been taken from the Kurds and devalued as a self, our comrade Evîndar has embraced and embraced these values more as a revolutionary. She, as the builder of free life, has made herself conscious on the basis of values that are good, beautiful and true. She has continuously improved herself with her determined and stable stance since the first day she came to the ranks. Comrade Evîndar, who has been a guerrilla in the Xakurkê and Zap areas for a long time, has become a competent guerrilla with his practice. Our comrade Evîndar, who has deepened in the line of PAJK with the training she received in these fields, has become a commander by strongly embracing the legacy left by the Bêritans and has duly fulfilled her role as a leader. Our comrade Evîndar, who wants to deepen in the art of guerrilla warfare and to improve herself in the tactics and style of the new era in order to respond to the expectations of our people, received military expertise training on this basis and received successful results from these trainings. After training, she took charge as a unit commander, and she realized that she had to take more responsibility in order to do justice to this task and not to let her comrades believe in her.
With her faithful and assertive stance, she moved to the Serhed area with great determination as a YJA Star Commander in 2016. Our comrade Evîndar, who went to the land of her birth with such determination, was very heavy with the mission assigned to her. She knew how to answer the process with her practice. Our comrade Evîndar, as a free woman militant devoted to her own people and cause in the line of Leader Apo, has been higher than Mount Agirî. She actively participated in the moves initiated against the invaders in the serhed area and was at the forefront of the heavy blows inflicted on the invaders. Our comrade Evîndar, who exhibited an exemplary female command style, also became the comrade of the comrades. She left a strong legacy with her hardworking, enthusiastic, agile and sincere companionship.

Our comrade in action was born in Erdîş district of Wan, in a patriotic family that adheres to social values. Because of these features of her family, our comrade Eylem has also carried the culture of thousands of years of our people in her personality and blended these features with the passion for freedom unique to Kurdish women. For this reason, she did not adopt the reactionary life habits that were consciously developed in our society by the colonialists and pursued the dream of freedom. The development and socialization of the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle in the Serhed area has also affected our comrade Eylem, and her interest in free Kurdishness, which has developed under the leadership of the PKK, has increased. She especially had an intense interest in guerrilla struggle and grew up with the dream of being a guerrilla since childhood. Since 2015, when the genocidal Turkish state launched an all-out attack against our people, it has come to the conclusion that, like every honorable Kurdish youth and woman, it should take its place in the ranks of the struggle in order to break the genocidal policies on our people and to ensure the freedom our people deserve. On this basis, she joined the guerrilla ranks from Erdîş in 2016, when the guerrilla resistance against the colonial Turkish army reached its peak.
From the first day she joined the guerrilla ranks, she attracted the attention of all her comrades with her enthusiasm and willing participation. With the advantage of adapting to mountain and guerrilla life in a short time, it has developed itself militarily and ideologically. Our comrade in action benefited from the experiences of his former comrades in guerrillaism, reviewed his participation after each experience he received, and researched ways and methods to participate more. In this sense, she never stopped improving herself. For this, she constantly concentrated, researched, learned and tried to make this learning vital. In this sense, she tried to fully establish in her personality the principle of consistency, which is a characteristic of Apoist militancy. Due to her self-confident nature, she participated in many practical studies and attracted attention with her success in these studies. With her morale and hardworking personality, she not only fulfilled her responsibilities to her colleagues, but also succeeded in displaying a stance equivalent to his pioneering mission when appropriate. She saw our comrade Leader Apo as the source of her life; She tried to understand the leadership and to make her ideology her basic philosophy of life. In particular, she tried to understand our Leader’s analysis of women’s freedom and to embody the principles of free women in her personality. She struggled selflessly to be successful in this effort and succeeded in breaking the stereotypes set by the system for women one by one. As a leading YJA Star guerrilla, she experienced the happiness and pride of being a guerrilla in the harsh conditions of the Serhed area. Our comrade Eylem, who has developed herself in the sense of military art, has participated in many actions, especially in the Tendurek area, where heavy blows were struck against the enemy.
