“The epic resistance of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla against colonialism and genocidal politics in Bakure Kurdistan continues uninterruptedly. BERÇEM HERKOL ŞİRWAN
Our comrade Berçem was born in a patriotic family in the Şîrvan district of Sêrt. Comrade Berçem has also known and sympathized with our party PKK since she was a child, since his family was patriotic and knew her from the first years of our struggle. Being born and raised in Kurdistan enabled our comrade Berçem to face the reality of the enemy in his childhood. Again, the position of women in society attracted the attention of our comrade Berçem, and this situation led to a contradiction. Our comrade Berçem, who is in search of the enemy’s oppression and inhuman tendencies and the contradictions he experiences in society, has made it clear that she can find the answer to these searches in the Leadership ideology.
Comrade Berçem, who was impressed by the value our movement places on people when she joined the guerrilla ranks, has seen the difference between the system and PKK life from the very first day. Again, in the face of the Apoist culture, morality and sense of responsibility that the guerrilla acquired, she showed more interest in guerrilla life. Our comrade Berçem, who never accepted an ordinary participation for herself, acted with this awareness from the first day she joined the guerrilla ranks. She tried to spend every moment of her life full and meaningful, from her approach to education to her comradeship relationships. She had the opportunity to learn the Women’s Liberation Ideology of our Leader from the Leadership defenses she read and she thought that she should understand the Leadership more deeply as a woman. Our comrade Berçem, who strives to reflect what she has learned from the leadership in every moment of her life, has made a great effort to be both an Apoist pioneer woman and a freedom fighter worthy of our people. For this, it has determined the physical freedom of Leader Apo as its biggest goal, and therefore it has increased its struggle day by day.

After joining the guerrilla ranks, our comrade Berçem took part in youth work for a long time, and with her energy and enthusiasm in these works, she enabled Kurdish and other peoples to meet the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle and flow to the ranks of the struggle. While in youth work, the people had the opportunity to get to know our reality more closely, and revealed that a struggle to be waged together with our people reveals great gains. Witnessing the great price our people have incurred, the sacrifices they have made, and their expectations from their leader, the freedom guerrilla, Comrade Berçem has decided to continue her struggle in areas where she can get more results. On this basis, she returned to the mountains of Kurdistan in 2018 and started training to become competent in the military field. First, she received basic military training, later on, she received specialization training’s in order to apply the guerrilla tactics of the new era in the best way. Our comrade Berçem, who does not hesitate to make any sacrifices in order to realize her goals on the way he set out for a great purpose, approached the training’s on this basis. Our comrade Berçem, who quickly perceived the lessons she learned and at the same time succeeded in putting them into practice, gave the necessary support to her comrades and did her best to reveal a collective success. The city of Maku in Rojhilatê Kurdistan has revealed its core patriotism with the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle under the leadership of our party PKK. As our guerrilla struggle grew and spread all over Kurdistan, thousands of valiant sons of Maku rushed to the ranks of freedom and took their place in the freedom struggle of our people. Dozens of these comrades fought heroically against the invaders and became martyrs, and hundreds of them are still fighting for the free future of our people in our ranks.
The family of our comrade Jînda is also a patriotic family that adheres to the moral and political values of the Kurdish society. This precious family of ours also joined the guerrilla ranks and there were martyrdoms. Our comrade Jînda was born as a member of such a patriotic family and grew up with the culture and morality she received from her family. When she reached her youth, she did not accept the view of the existing social and political system on women and always dreamed of a life outside of this system. At the same time, our party started to get to know the PKK more because of the patriotism of his family. Our comrade Jînda joined the guerrilla ranks in 2018, influenced by the PKK’s 50-year freedom struggle, Leader Apo’s analysis of women’s liberation, and the lifestyle and comradeship relations of the guerrilla fighting for freedom in the mountains of Kurdistan.

Our comrade Jînda, who was very excited when she joined the guerrilla ranks, got involved in practical work after completing her military training quickly and successfully. Our comrade Jînda, who has developed rapidly thanks to her high intelligence, has dealt heavy blows to the enemy by participating in the actions developed against the enemy in the first year of her guerrilla. She gained great experience due to her development in war conditions. She was a guerilla in many areas from Tendurek to Gilîdax, skilfully resisted the developing enemy operations and dealt heavy blows to the enemy by being in conflict dozens of times. The anger of our comrade Jînda, who started to understand the reality of the enemy better and deeper as he fought, increased day by day. For this reason, she always wanted to stay on the battlefields and demand an account of both her comrades who were martyred and the massacres that the enemy carried out against our people. Contrary to her coolness on the battlefield, our comrade Jînda, who was extremely warm and sincere in life, was loved by all her comrades with these features. She saw herself responsible for all areas of life and fulfilled her pioneering mission as a YJA Star guerrilla with his structure that did not give up despite all difficult conditions.
Our comrade Jînda’s quest for freedom as a woman was too much and she spent a lot of effort and effort to create a free woman identity in her personality. Our comrade Jînda, who experienced the great feeling of breathing freedom at every moment of our freedom struggle, in which she took part as a leading YJA Star militant, instructed us, her comrades, to achieve victory with her martyrdom. SENAN SERHAT
Our comrade Senan was born in Çildêran of Wan. He grew up in a patriotic family that is committed to Kurdish culture and recognizes the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle. Our comrade Senan, who grew up assimilating the culture of the region he lives in, has been in a search until the time he went to university. When he won the university and started to study sociology, his curiosity and search increased. Our comrade Senan, who is emotionally attached to our movement, has made himself more conscious with his research. As a Kurdish youth, he saw the reality that his people were facing genocide. For this reason, it has decided to take part in the freedom struggle of our people, one of the most ancient peoples of the Middle East geography. First, he actively participated in youth work. Due to the systematization of the ongoing isolation on our Leader, his anger towards the enemy increased even more and he realized that freedom would not be achieved without armed struggle. Thereupon, he joined the guerrilla ranks in 2015 with four of his friends from the university and clearly demonstrated the attitude that the youth of Kurdistan should take against the invaders.

Although our comrade Senan knew our movement and the guerrilla before, he was affected by the PKK life and comradely relations. Our comrade Senan, who received his basic education in the field of Zap, again participated in studies in the field of Zap after a successful training period. He learned the guerrilla warfare style down to the last detail in the Zap, where he lived for about 2 years, and practiced it with great success. Comrade Senan, who participated in many actions developed against the enemy, also gained combat experience. Our comrade Senan developed himself by training on the basis of Leader Apo’s ideology. He constantly questioned himself and struggled to answer the process. In life, he had a modest personality in his stance and was very sensitive to his comrades. She constantly questioned herself against the line of women’s freedom and made it a principle to follow the path of Comrade Fikri Baygeldi. For this reason, he considered himself responsible for PAJK in the concentration reports he wrote, and wrote both concentration reports and self-criticism reports. It has continuously developed itself on the basis of the principles of Democratic Modernity Guerrillaism in order to remove the invading Turkish army from Kurdistan, and has managed to come to a level where it can undertake the duties and responsibilities of the critical period we are going through. At a time when a historical war was fought against colonialism, our comrade Senan went to Bakure Kurdistan and entered into a relentless struggle against the enemy. He took the freedom march he started in Zap to the top in the Tendurek area, and despite all the difficulties, he had a successful practice in the Bakurê Kurdistan area. Comrade Senan, who carries out most of his Bakurê Kurdistan practice in the Tendurek area, actively participated in the actions during his stay in this area, and became a source of morale for his comrades with his energy and enthusiasm. Comrade Senan, who was a tactical leader in the development of the Revolutionary People’s War, became an exemplary militant with his warrior stance. Comrade Senan, who fought heroically against the enemy based on the PKK’s line of resistance against the operations launched by the enemy in the Tendurek area, joined the caravan of martyrs.

TOLHILDAN ANDOK
Our comrade Tolhildan was born in Colemêrg to a patriotic family. Coming from a family that paid a price in the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle, he has known our movement since his childhood. The village of our comrade Tolhildan was forcibly evacuated because they did not accept the village guard policies of the Turkish state. At a young age, he saw the force, oppression and torture of the Turkish state against our people and witnessed the massacres. For this reason, he refused to study in the so-called schools where the fascist system had committed cultural genocide. Coming from a religious family, he was exposed to racism when he went to the cities of Turkey for hafiz training. Our comrade Tolhildan has seen the difficulty of living without denying himself due to the racist policies implemented by the colonialist Turkish state. However, our comrade Tolhildan has chosen to be in favor of the war to protect the existence of his people and ensure their freedom, instead of integrating into the colonial and genocidal state. He clarified his ranks by participating in youth and militia activities. He was impressed by the martyrdom of our comrade Andok, who was his cousin, and Tolhildan, who was martyred in Wan in 2015.
Tolhildan and Andok took the names of both of our comrades in order to keep their names alive on the basis of their commitment to their struggle. He attracted the attention of his comrades early on with his honest, hardworking and self-sacrificing participation. He quickly became competent in practice, led his comrades with a sense of responsibility and became a commander early on. He realized the importance of education and developed himself ideologically with the education he received. Our comrade Tolhildan, who has improved himself in the Kurdish language and culture and is devoted to his traditions and customs, has always made an effort to instill this in his comrades. He has been a pioneering comrade who stands out with his agile, quick-witted practical features. The concentration of our comrade Tolhildan, who has the skills and competence to practice in difficult and opening-up areas, has also been on this axis. He dreamed of going to Bakurê Kurdistan, which is the dream of many of our comrades, and he made his dream come true. During his stay in the Gilîdax area of Serhed, he took part in the regional command and participated in the studies and carried out a successful practice. Our comrade Tolhildan, who constantly leads his comrades in every moment of his life, has always been at the leading level both in the actions developed against the enemy operations and in all the actions organized in Gilîdax.
