BEHDÎNAN – The HPG press center has published the following information:
“The freedom guerrilla of Kurdistan, protecting the Kurdish existence and achievements, continues their historical resistance under the most difficult conditions to defend the holy lands of Kurdistan against the occupation. Our armed forces, fighting with the apoistic spirit of sacrifice and belief in absolute victory, continue to inflict blows on the occupiers. In 5 different actions performed by our mobile teams, at least 6 bestazers were punished, 1 heavy weapon emplacement and 1 camera system destroyed.
“The resistance areas were bombed by the occupying Turkish army five times with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons, six times with attack helicopters, ten times with warplanes and dozens of times with howitzers, mortars and heavy weapons.”
The following information was given on the guerrilla actions and the attacks of the occupiers:
“As part of the revolutionary offensive Bazên Zagros in the Xakurke region;
- On August 27 at 10:00 a.m., our mobile teams from YJA Star carried out an action with heavy weapons against the positions of the occupying forces in the Girê Şehid Derwêş area in Xakurkê. During this action, a heavy gun position around which 5 occupiers had gathered was hit, the 5 occupiers were punished and 1 heavy gun position was destroyed.
In the Zap region as part of the revolutionary Bazên Zagros offensive;
- On August 27 at 07:20, the occupiers who wanted to advance towards the fighting positions in the Saca resistance zone were hit by our mobile teams with individual weapons.
- On August 27 at 8:00 p.m., the Bestazers who were trying to advance towards the fighting positions in the Çemço resistance area were hit with heavy weapons. After the hits from our mobile teams, the occupiers had to take a step back.
As part of the revolutionary offensive Cenga Xabûre Şehid Savaş Maraş;
- On August 27 at 15:30, the occupiers in the Girê Cûdî resistance area were hit with sniper tactics and an occupier of a rank who was attacked was punished.
- On August 27 at 16:00, 1 camera system that the occupiers had set up around the combat positions in the Girê Cûdî resistance area was destroyed by our mobile teams.
Attacks by the occupying Turkish army with excavators, tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons;
- On August 27, the Turkish occupying army tried to destroy the battlefields and tunnels in the resistance areas of Şikefta Birîndara and Werxelê with excavators and armored clearing vehicles.
- On August 27, the combat positions in Girê FM and Girê Cûdî Area were bombed five times with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons.
Attacks by the occupying Turkish army with howitzers, mortars, heavy weapons, helicopters and fighter planes;
- On August 27, drone activity was observed in the Girê FM resistance area.
- On August 27, the Girê Cûdî and Kurojahro resistance areas were bombed six times by helicopter gunships.
- On August 27, the resistance areas of Girê Bihar, Çemço and Sîda were bombed eight times by warplanes.
- On August 27, the Gundê Sêdare area in Garê and the Sinîne area in Xakurkê were bombed twice by warplanes.
- On August 27 and 28, the Sinîne area in Xakurkê and the resistance areas Girê Hakkarî, Girê Cûdî, Girê FM and Çemço were bombed dozens of times with howitzers, mortars and heavy weapons.”
