BEHDINAN – HPG Press Center stated the following regarding the martyred guerrillas:
“The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla fought a great war of will and dealt the heaviest blows to the enemy in its history, against the occupation operations of the colonial Turkish state against Avaşîn, Zap and Metina, which has been continuing since 2021. A great war was waged especially in the Avaşîn area, and the guerrilla tactics of the new period were used skillfully. Our comrades Ekin, Dilda and Şiyar put up an epic struggle to avenge the martyrs’ comrades and to respond to our people’s demands for freedom. These heroic comrades, who managed to become the enemy’s nightmare with their actions, led the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign by hitting the enemy in a more professional and conclusive manner against the invasion attacks that developed in 2022, especially with their experiences from 2021. We promise that we will definitely take their revenge and achieve their goals by walking in the footsteps of these esteemed comrades who left behind a great legacy of struggle with their unmatched efforts in the field of Avaşîn.
On this basis, we extend our condolences to all our patriotic people of Kurdistan, especially to the esteemed families of our comrades Ekin, Dilda and Şiyar, who have reached the rank of martyrdom, which is the most sacred of our freedom struggle.

Our comrade Ekin was born in Istanbul as a member of a family originally from Çewlik. Although being born and raised far from our country, Kurdistan, challenged our comrade Ekin culturally, she never broke away from her essence and managed to preserve the resisting essence of the Kurdish woman in her personality. Because of this feature, although he was not directly affected by the hot war in Kurdistan, he always felt the war and the martyrdom in this war. For this reason, our country, as a sensitive individual, closely followed the war in Kurdistan. Coming from a working family, our comrade Ekin was introduced to the concept of labor at an early age. Our comrade Ekin, who has learned to stand on her own feet thanks to her hardworking character, has succeeded in becoming a self-confident woman who recognizes her self-confidence. However, it was not difficult for him to raise awareness of the labor-capital conflict and the fact that women are always seen in the second place in society. For this reason, she experienced contradictions and started to search for areas of struggle where he could find the answer to these contradictions. Comrade Ekin, who knew our party PKK as a result of these searches, was deeply affected by our Leader’s determinations and solution perspectives, especially regarding the women’s freedom problem. For this reason, our comrade Ekin turned to the mountains of Kurdistan and joined the guerrilla ranks in 2015 in order to both respond to our people’s demands for freedom and to overcome the contradictions he experienced on the basis of freedom.
After joining the guerrilla ranks, our comrade Ekin quickly became integrated with the mountains and nature of Kurdistan with the excitement of finding answers to her searches and the feeling of freedom from all the stress of material life. She participated in life and education with such concentration, and made great breakthroughs in her personality in a short time. Our comrade Ekin, who has raised her existing self-confident stance to a more conscious level with the Leadership philosophy, has also helped her comrades with the awareness of the historical responsibility she has undertaken, although she is new to the guerrilla ranks. In this way, she tried to fulfill her pioneering and comradely duties as a free woman. Our comrade Ekin, who putted herself in the struggle in every sense with her clarity in the Apoist ideology and her belief in victory, gave importance to military training as well as ideological training. As a YJA Star guerrilla, she realized the historical mission she had undertaken and was aware of the need to respond with an equal participation in this mission. Our comrade Ekin, who approaches military training on this basis, has based on deepening the military style and tactics of the new period; for this purpose, it has made it its main goal to use all weapons skilfully. Being aware of the responsibilities that the times of freedom we have passed through as the people and the movement have imposed on the Apoist militants, our comrade Ekin, who thinks that she should fight more against the invasion attacks launched by the enemy, moved to Avaşîn in 2018. During the 4 years she was in Avaşîn, she took part in many actions and had a great effort in the development of the resistance. Our comrade Ekin, who is at the forefront of her commanding qualities as much as her warrior, also determined the tactics of many successful actions by taking part in the unit commander level. As a leading YJA Star commander, our comrade Ekin, who played an important role in the climax of our war with her role in the actions against the enemy, has managed to become one of the most distinguished examples of the liberated Kurdish woman. She became one of the YJA Star commanders, who became the symbol of Avaşîn with her high courage, practical intelligence, acumen on the battlefield, her determination to hit the enemy and her sharpness in her striking style. Our comrade, who went against the enemy militantly by nullifying the attacks of the invaders, took the revenge of our martyrs by personally taking part in many actions that dealt heavy blows to the colonialist Turkish army, and dealt the first and most effective blow to the enemy in the actions he participated in. Dilda Ayper Rojhat
Our comrade Dilda was born and raised in Colemêrg in a family belonging to the patriotic Pinyanîş tribe. She got to know the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle closely due to her family being patriotic and living in a city like Colemêrg, which was the center of our struggle. That’s why she always wondered about the mountain life and struggle of the guerrilla and grew up with the dream of being a guerrilla. Our comrade Dilda, who has grown this dream day by day, joined the guerrilla ranks in 2015, influenced by the participation of her close circle in the guerrilla ranks and the martyrdom in our struggle for freedom.
Joining the guerrilla ranks in 2015, when enemy attacks were intense, enabled our comrade Dilda to get to know the reality of the enemy early and closely. Joining the guerrilla ranks under war conditions naturally brought the military aspects to the fore in our comrade Dilda. Educating herself according to the reality of war, Comrade Dilda has carefully set out to learn the experiences and lessons our Party has drawn from guerrilla warfare. Our comrade Dilda, who fought in the Zap and Avaşîn areas until 2017, took part in many actions and dealt heavy blows to the enemy. Later, our comrade Dilda, who was involved in some studies that required ideological competence, also came to the fore with her success in these studies. After these successful works, due to the intensification of enemy attacks, he insistently wanted to fight on the front lines and on this basis he moved to Avaşîn. She did not become unfamiliar with the magnificent nature of the Avaşîn area, where she had stayed for a long time, and quickly entered into practical work. She impressed all her comrades with her enthusiastic participation and duly fulfilled this mission as a pioneer YJA Star guerrilla. In the attacks that developed in 2021, it endured the enemy attacks with an unshakeable will, and came out of the war with great experience. She shared these experiences with her comrades at every opportunity; In this sense, she prepared both herself and her comrades for a possible difficult war situation. Our comrade Dilda took part in the mobile teams during the invasion attacks launched by the enemy in April 2022, and this mobile team played an important role in the successful implementation of this war style. Our comrade Dilda, who aims to hit the enemy at every opportunity, is aware that in this way, she can respond to her comrades who fought selflessly in the war tunnels. We reiterate our promise to crown the struggle of our comrade Dilda, who became martyr after fighting to her last breath, with victory, against the enemy attacks that developed at the end of June.

Şiyar Firmeks Amed
Our comrade Şiyar was born and raised in Hatay as a member of a family from Riha. Although he was born and raised far from Kurdistan due to the patriotic nature of his family, he did not become alienated from his own reality and managed to preserve his essence. For this reason, he closely followed and was interested in the ongoing war in Kurdistan. Like every honorable Kurdish youth, he stood up against the ISIS gangs’ attacking the gains of our people and their desire to bring the genocidal policies imposed on our people together with the Turkish state to a conclusion. He first participated in legal protest actions. However, he was imprisoned in the dungeon for about 4 months because the enemy did not tolerate even civilian actions. During this captivity, he did not make any concessions to the enemy and turned this into an opportunity by adhering to our tradition of dungeon resistance. Our comrade Şiyar, who succeeded in educating him ideologically and theoretically, brought the reality of his people to greater consciousness in this way. At the same time, he was faced with the reality of the enemy and did not have much difficulty in understanding the real face of the enemy. Our comrade Şiyar, who decided to join the guerrilla during the dungeon process, turned his face to the mountains of Kurdistan that smelled of freedom as soon as he left the dungeon and joined the guerrilla ranks.
Our comrade Şiyar, who stayed in the mountains of Kurdistan for a while, received important training from guerrilla warfare tactics to using all kinds of weapons. Comrade Şiyar, who is a successful and competent guerrilla due to his willing stance in these trainings, suggested going to the Shengal area to hold the ISIS gangs accountable and to liberate Shengal from occupation. After his proposal was accepted, he moved to Shengal area with great enthusiasm and joined the moves to liberate Shengal. He successfully fulfilled all his duties with his hardworking and self-sacrificing personality during the war, and in this sense, he did his best to keep the promise of freedom made by the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla to our Shengal people. Our comrade Şiyar, who gained great military experience during the war, wanted to carry his experience to the mountains of Kurdistan and to fight against the Turkish state, the staunch enemy of our people. Our comrade Şiyar, who was happy to return to the mountains of Kurdistan, where he first tasted freedom and found himself, turned his face to the war fronts with the morale he gained and went to Avaşîn area. The role of our comrade Şiyar was also decisive in proving the invincibility of the Kurdistan guerrilla, which organized the resistance in the form of mobile teams against the enemy attacks that developed in the Avaşîn area. Our comrade Şiyar, one of our comrades who fought with Apoist unwavering will despite all the attacks of the enemy based on technique and helped the enemy take heavy blows in Avaşîn, left behind a great tradition of resistance both with his struggle and his martyrdom. As his comrades, we promise that we will definitely crown this tradition of resistance with the freedom of our people.”
