BEHDINAN – HPG Press Center said, “The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, which exhibited the greatest resistance in history under the most difficult conditions with the Apoist self-sacrificing spirit, continues to inflict heavy blows on the invaders by using the guerrilla tactics of the new era. Unable to break the resistance and will of our forces, the invading Turkish army wants to get results by intensely bombing the Resistance Areas with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons.
In the actions carried out under the leadership of our mobile teams; 6 invaders were punished, 1 drone, 1 mobesse camera system and 1 sensor device were also destroyed. The invading Turkish army, on the other hand, occupied the Resistance Areas; It bombed 35 times with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons, 4 times with warplanes, 11 times with attack helicopters and dozens of times with howitzers.
The details of the actions and attacks carried out are as follows:
“Sometimes in the Zap region as part of the Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign;
- On August 17, at 08:00, 1 sensor device that the invaders placed around the battle positions in the Karker Resistance Area was detected and destroyed by our mobile teams.
- On August 17, at 10:30, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the Martyr Aryen battle positions in the Saca Resistance Area were hit and beaten. After the intervention of our forces, the invaders had to retreat one step.
- Within the framework of the Cenga Xabûre Martyr War Maraş Revolutionary Campaign; On August 17, at 10:30, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the Martyr Sîpan battle positions in the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area were shot by our mobile teams with individual weapons and hand grenades. In this action, 2 invaders were punished.
- On August 17, at 11:30 and 14:00, the invaders around the Girê Martyr Pîrdoğan battle positions in the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area were shot by our mobile teams with an assassination tactic, and 2 invaders were punished.
- At 13:50 on August 17, 1 mobesse camera system placed in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area by the invaders was destroyed by our forces.
- On August 17, at 18:40, a drone that was flown over the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area was shot down and destroyed by our YJA Star forces.
- On August 17, at 20:00, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the Martyr Sîpan battle positions in the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area were shot by our mobile teams and 2 invaders were punished.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons;
- On 16 August, the battle positions in Girê FM and Şikefta Birîndara Fields were bombed 7 times with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons.
- On 17 August, the battle positions in the Werxelê Resistance Area were bombed 28 times with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with howitzers, helicopters and warplanes;
- On 17 August, drone activity was observed in Girê FM and Girê Amediyê Resistance Areas.
- On 17 August, the Sîda Resistance Area was bombed 4 times with warplanes.
- On 17 August, Kurojahro, Girê FM, Girê Amediyê and Girê Cûdî Resistance Areas were bombed 11 times with attack helicopters.
- On 17 August, Girê FM and Girê Hakkarî Resistance Areas were bombed dozens of times with howitzers.”
