BEHDINAN – HPG Press Center shared the following information about the war:
“The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, the main defense force of our people, whose self-defense is destroyed, continues its historical resistance against the invasion attacks. In the actions carried out by our mobile teams, 4 invaders were punished, 2 invaders were injured, 1 drone and 1 heavy weapon position were destroyed together with the weapons.
The invading Turkish army bombed the battle positions in the Resistance Zones 15 times with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons, 11 times with warplanes, 26 times with attack helicopters, and dozens of times with howitzers and heavy weapons.
The details of the actions taken and the attacks made are as follows;
Within the framework of the Cenga Xabûre Martyr War Maraş Revolutionary Campaign;
- On August 2, at 08:00, a drone on the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area was targeted, shot down and destroyed by our forces.
- At 09:00 on August 2, the invaders who wanted to bomb the war tunnels in the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area were shot and 1 invader was punished. The explosives brought by the invaders were under the control of our forces.
- On August 2, at 19:00, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were shot by our mobile YJA Star teams with an assassination tactic and 1 invader was punished.
- On August 2, at 18:30, the invading Turkish army attacked the war tunnels in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area with chemical weapons and poison gas. The invaders, who had to retreat after the intervention of our forces, bombarded the war tunnels with heavy weapons.
- In the Zap region as part of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign;
- On August 2, at 07:50, our forces targeted the enemy’s heavy weapon position in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area with heavy weapons. It was destroyed together with the weapons in the position that was hit effectively and 2 invaders were punished.
Within the framework of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign, in the Avaşîn region;
- At 17:15 on August 2, the invaders who wanted to carry out a position work with buckets in the Girê Werxelê Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons. After the action, the invaders stopped the construction of the position.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons;
- On 2 August, Girê Amediye and Girê FM Resistance Areas were bombed 15 times with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons. It has been determined that the chemical used in Girê FM combat positions emits an intense paint smell and prevents breathing.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with heavy weapons, howitzers, helicopters and warplanes;
- On 2 August, drone activity was observed over Girê Amediyê, Girê Bihar and Berçiya areas.
- On 2 August, the area around the Saca and Zap waters and the area of Banka village in Metîna; The village of Girê in the Garê area and the villages around Çemankê were bombed 11 times with warplanes.
- On 2 August, Girê FM, Girê Cûdî and Kurojahro Resistance Areas were bombed with attack helicopters 26 times.
- Serê Metîna and Banka Village surroundings were bombed dozens of times with howitzers fired from the invading Turkish army’s Bamernê military base in Bashure Kurdistan on 2 August.
- On August 2, Kela Çemço area was bombed dozens of times with heavy weapons and howitzers fired from police stations on the border.
