BEHDÎNAN – The statement from the HPG press center reads as follows:
“The actions of our armed forces to salute the Resurrection Day on August 15 continue uninterrupted. In the actions developed under the guidance of our mobile teams; 2 occupiers were punished, 1 occupier injured, 1 base and 2 Mobesse camera systems destroyed.
The Turkish occupying army’s resistance areas were bombed 9 times with tactical nuclear and chemical weapons, 20 times with warplanes, 14 times with attack helicopters and dozens of times with howitzers, mortars, tanks and heavy weapons.
The details of the actions performed and the attacks performed are as follows;
As part of the revolutionary offensive Cenga Xabûre Şehid Savaş Maraş;
- On August 5 at 06:50, 1 Mobesse camera system of the invaders in the Girê Cûdî resistance area was destroyed.
- At 11:20 am on August 5, the invaders who intended to bombard the wartime tunnels in the Girê Cûdî resistance area with chemical weapons were met with sabotage tactics.
- On August 5 at 17:40 the invaders in the Girê Amediyê resistance area were attacked and fired upon by our mobile teams with individual weapons. As a result of effective hits by our forces, 2 occupiers were fined and 1 occupier injured. The invaders, who bombarded the area with attack helicopters and heavy weapons after the action, were able to evacuate their injured from the area by helicopter at night.
- On August 6 at 05:00, 1 position of the invaders in the Girê Cûdî resistance area was destroyed with heavy weapons.
- On August 6 at 06:40, 1 Mobesse camera system of the invaders in the Girê Cûdî resistance area was destroyed.
In the Zap region as part of the revolutionary Bazên Zagros offensive;
- At 6:00 p.m. on August 4, the occupiers in the Çemço resistance area were hit by our armed forces with heavy weapons.
- At noon on August 5, the invaders, who wanted to advance with excavators and armored vehicles to the fighting positions in the Şikefta Birîndara resistance area, were attacked by our forces and hit with heavy weapons. After our armed forces intervened, the occupiers had to retreat a step.
As part of the revolutionary offensive Bazên Zagros in the Xakurke region;
- At 05:00 on August 6, the occupiers in Girê Şehid Şahan were hit by our forces with heavy weapons.
Attacks by the occupying Turkish army with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons;
- On August 5, the war tunnels in the Girê Cûdî resistance area were bombed twice with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons.
- On August 5, the war tunnels in the Werxelê resistance area were bombed twice with tactical atomic bombs and chemical weapons.
- On August 5, wartime tunnels in the Şikefta Birîndara and Çemço resistance zones were bombed five times with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons.
Attacks by the occupying Turkish army with heavy weapons, howitzers, helicopters and fighter planes;
- On August 5 and 6, the Girê Amediye and Saca resistance areas were bombed twelve times by warplanes.
- On August 5, the Girê Şehid Hawar and Sinînê areas in Xakurkê and the Kanîsarkê and Gundê Gûzê areas in Garê were bombed eight times by warplanes.
- On August 5, the resistance areas of Girê Cûdî, Girê FM and Werxelê were bombed 14 times by helicopter gunships.
- On August 4 and 5, the Girê Azad area of Metîna and the resistance areas of Girê FM, Girê Amediyê, Şikefta Birîndara and Çemço were bombed dozens of times with heavy weapons, howitzers, mortars and tanks.”
