BEHDINAN – HPG Press Center statement is as follows:
“The actions to salute the 15 August Resurrection Day, when our forces fought hard and dealt heavy blows to the invading Turkish army, continue. Our forces carried out effective actions in memory of our comrade Agîd Garzan, who was a follower of our Great Commander Mahsum Korkmaz (Agîd), who opened a new page leading to victory in the history of Kurdistan with the 15 August Initiative, and was martyred as a result of the attack of the fascist Turkish state, and two Iraqi generals. In the actions developed by our forces, who wrote the epic of resistance in the mountains of Kurdistan, under the leadership of mobile teams; 14 invaders were punished, 1 invader was injured, 1 position and 1 radar system were destroyed.
The invading Turkish army bombed the Resistance Areas 10 times with tactical nuclear and chemical weapons, 4 times with warplanes, 12 times with attack helicopters and dozens of times with heavy weapons.
The details of the actions taken and the attacks made are as follows;
Within the framework of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign, in the Xakurke region;
- On August 6, at 20:30, our forces hit the invaders in Girê Koordîne with heavy weapons. As a result of the effective hits, 2 invaders were punished and 1 position was destroyed.
- This action was carried out in memory of our immortal commander Martyr Agîd Garzan, who was martyred as a result of the vile attack carried out by the invading Turkish state on August 11, 2020.
- Within the framework of the Cenga Xabûre Martyr War Maraş Revolutionary Campaign;
- Between 09:30 and 10:00 on August 4, the invaders in the Girê FM Resistance Area were shot three times with assassination tactics and three invaders were punished.
- On 6 August, the invaders in the Girê FM Resistance Area were targeted and shot with individual weapons and assassination tactics. As a result of these actions, 2 invaders were punished and 1 radar system was destroyed.
- On August 6, at 05:45, the invaders on the move in the Girê FM Resistance Area were hit with sabotage tactics and 2 invaders were punished.
- On August 7, at 18:00, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were shot with an assassination tactic and 1 invader was punished.
- On August 7, at 18:30, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the battle positions in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were shot down by our forces. After the intervention, the invaders had to retreat one step.
- On August 7, at 20:30, the invaders in the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area were shot by our forces with individual weapons, and 4 invaders were punished and 1 injured.
- After bombarding the battle positions in the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area with heavy weapons between August 7, 21:30 and 22:10, the invaders who wanted to advance were shot by our forces. After the intervention, the invaders had to retreat one step.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons;
- On 6 and 7 August, the war tunnels in Girê Amediyê, Girê FM Resistance Area were bombed 4 times with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons.
- On 7 August, the war tunnels in the Karker Resistance Area were bombed 6 times with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with heavy weapons, helicopters and warplanes;
- On 7 August, the Saca Resistance Area was bombed twice by warplanes.
- On August 7, Gundê Dirê Area in Garê was bombed twice by warplanes.
- On 7 August, the Qaşura line in Metîna and the Kurojahro and Girê Cûdî Resistance Areas were bombed 12 times with attack helicopters.
- On August 7, the Girê FM Resistance Area was bombed with heavy weapons.”
