NEWS CENTER – Drawing attention to the level of the PKK’s revolutionary struggle and the will formed by the paradigm of the Kurdish People’s Leader, Dr. Mazlum Dersim underlined that: “The Turkish state has been saying it’s over/we will finish it for years. The PKK, on the other hand, is growing day by day and will grow even more.”
HPG commander Dr. Mazlum Dersim spoke to ANF on the occasion of the anniversary of the August 15 Initiative. Pointing to the necessity of the August 15 Initiative for the Kurds, Dr. Mazlum Dersim said, “Because the fascist colonialist Turkish state could not accept anything from the Kurds. By dividing the Kurds into four parts, they did not want to leave anything. The Turkish state, which did not accept the start of a historical move to gain all the values of the Kurds under the leadership of Leader Apo, resorted to every dirty way. Against this, a tremendous resistance developed in the dungeon. In order to bring this resistance to its peak, the August 15 Initiative was launched under the leadership of Commander Egîd. This move prevented extinction,” he said.
PKK IS GROWING BY DAY
Saying that the Turkish state, which says “We buried the Kurds in concrete,” is experiencing the biggest mistake, Dr. Mazlum Dersim continued: “The PKK’s struggle for revolution has reached a great peak today. A great will was formed with the paradigm of Leader Apo. The Turkish state has been saying it’s over for years. The PKK, on the other hand, is growing day by day and will grow even more. Everyone should know this. Leader Apo’s ideology has spread all over the world.”
KURDISH IS IN THEIR OWN LAND
Drawing attention to the level the Kurds have reached in the four parts of Kurdistan, Dersim said, “The Kurds own these lands and no one has the right to expel them from the land. We have not invaded anyone’s land. It is the Turkish state that occupies these lands. Therefore, it is the Turkish state that will emerge from these lands. We will fight with all our might until we expel them from the lands of Kurdistan. The whole world should know this,” he said.

Stating that the Turkish state committed crimes against humanity through a dirty and brutal war, one of the HPG commanders, Dr. Mazlum Dersim added: “The Turkish state has no other idea or reminder other than occupation and plunder. There is no one for them, only they themselves live in this world. He sends the Turkish army, which he dragged into the war like his own slave, to their death. He does it so that he can comfortably carry out his dirty politics. A soldier is of no value to him. Finally, I would like to express the following: With the spirit of resistance in Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna, I congratulate the anniversary of the August 15 Initiative and the National Resurrection Day of the Kurdish people. We will not stop until our struggle against the noah of August 15th is victorious, and we will destroy fascism with this spirit.”
