BEHDİNAN – One of the HSM Headquarters Commanders, Amed Malazgirt, made important evaluations on the developing guerrilla resistance and the attacks of the invading Turkish state in the special program broadcast on Stêrk TV. Amed Malazgirt stated that Kurdish youth should take more effective actions.
Amed Manzikert, who started his speech by reminding that the Turkish state has been attacking the Medya Defense Areas for 6 years, is as follows:
“The goal of the Turkish state is to occupy Bashur completely and to establish legitimacy with the National Pact line. We have said this many times before. At the time, some did not believe; They were saying that the Turkish state is fighting only the PKK and does not pose a threat to the gains in Kurdistan. Therefore, no Kurdistani stance was taken. In our war with the Turkish state, some preferred to remain silent instead of taking a stand. Others, on the other hand, did not just remain silent, they also cooperated with the Turkish state. When the Turkish state saw this situation, it increased its attacks against our movement.
When our friends put up a great resistance against the Turkish state, a hope arose in the society. Although the Turkish state escalated the war and attacked the society, the resistance of the guerrilla created great hope. The Turkish state also saw that it could not defeat a PKK struggling at this level. He wanted to cover his weaknesses in the war with propaganda. They keep telling the public that they have dealt a huge blow to the PKK. This is how they change the agenda. Nobody is asking an account for what he said in the past or what he says today. According to what government officials said 4-5 years ago, there should not be such a war now. They were constantly saying that we finished the PKK.
In 2017, Süleyman Soylu said that no one will ever hear the name of the PKK again. They were confident. Since then, they are the ones who have talked about the PKK the most. They attack every day with the latest technological weapons, they say they destroyed the PKK, but everywhere they go they talk about the PKK. He asks for help from every country he goes to to attack the PKK and makes concessions to those countries. Nobody asks, ‘If you have destroyed the PKK, why are you giving away Turkey’s gains to all the countries you have been to, and using it against the Kurds?’ He uses the rhetoric Turkish-Kurdish are brothers every time he is forced. The Turkish state is killing Kurds every day. Although the Turkish army wages an immoral war and uses chemical weapons, the PKK resists within the framework of the laws of war.
The Turkish state consists of gangs and mafias.
The Turkish state has inflicted genocide on peoples in history and tortured people, including children. Despite all this, Turkish state officials make statements as if they are human rights defenders and present themselves as if they are leading the world on democracy. They think they are smart and people are stupid. They think people believe what they say. 3-4 years ago, Erdogan was threatening, “Hey European Union, hey NATO”. But whichever state it threatened, it mobilizes all its means to make concessions on the Kurdish issue.
The Turkish state is now made up of gangs and mafias. No law, no law. They make their own laws. It is not possible for such a state to last long. They allegedly took a stand against Israel, now they are making deals. They did not leave what they said about Saudi Arabia, but now they go to their feet and make a deal. This unprincipled attitude of the Turkish state is related to the current war. If Erdogan hadn’t had such a hard time in this war, would he have made concessions to everyone with such a slippery stance? In other words, the Turkish state and AKP government are doing everything they can to harm the Kurds, destroy their gains and plunder their underground and aboveground riches.
We are struggling with such a fascist mentality. The Turkish state has been attacking the Kurds in every field, taking advantage of the political crises that have emerged in different countries recently. It detains and arrests politicians who have nothing to do with the war and only express their opinions. All countries and international organizations that claim to defend human rights are deaf and dumb when it comes to Kurds. The Turkish state, which finds the square empty in this regard, sees its persecution against the Kurds as a success for itself.
6 months leave and salary for the guards entering the tunnels
The invasion attacks that started on April 24 left 4 months behind. The calculation of the Turkish state was as follows; I would use all kinds of techniques, international states would support, collaborators would help, I would gather the gangs around me and I would get results as soon as possible. They did not take into account the PKK militants, the bodyguards of Rêber Apo. They encountered great resistance from the guerrilla. It is true that the enemy has entered the land in some areas. In some hills, we have friends as well as enemies. For example, there are enemies and friends in Werxelê. Fighting continues day and night.
The enemy, who could not succeed in the tunnel wars, wants to close the war tunnels with buckets and dozers, but cannot. Here they use chemical weapons, it is not enough, they use gas, it is not enough, they burn tires and throw them in front of the tunnels, it is not enough, they tried to get their soldiers into the tunnel. Many of his soldiers were killed, this time they brought the guards. When some of the village guards were killed, they could no longer bring them. According to the sensations we received; It was said that the guards and those who enter the tunnels will be allowed 6 months and their salary will be paid.
This means that the soldiers and special forces of the Turkish state cannot fight out of fear. They are sweet, they cannot enter the tunnels, but they send these guards and gangs, who are in need of money, to the tunnels. Even though the village guards are killed because they are Kurds, they do not consider it a loss for themselves. It is such a low state that it even puts cameras on dogs and sends them to tunnels. If the dog comes across friends, they take action with that camera view. The Turkish state has fallen into such a helpless situation. We are fighting a state with this mentality.
Does the PKK have howitzers?
People had come to have a picnic in Heftanîn, and they attacked with howitzers in front of everyone. People from the Arab people were martyred. It’s such an immoral state that it didn’t even need an explanation at first. Then the PKK did it, he said. He made this statement despite the evidence. Does the PKK have howitzers? In 1993, friends protested in Dersim, soldiers were killed. They asked Tansu Çiller, the prime minister of the time, ‘How did the PKK retreat after taking action?’ He also said that ‘the helicopters attacked and the helicopters went again’. A journalist did not come out and ask if the PKK has a helicopter. Erdogan is doing the same thing right now. Also, your friends have nothing to do with the place where the attack happened.
As the PKK movement, when something happens because of us, we investigate and explain our mistake. The enemy deliberately made that attack. When we look at the statements of Erdoğan and Hulusi Akar, this is concrete. They say that there is no killing of civilians in the history of Turkey. Everyone knows how the Turkish state persecuted civilians in its history. The Turkish state killed two brothers who came to their village in the Mervanos and Küçük Cîlo regions, then they said, ‘We killed a terrorist’. They repeated this statement even though it turned out that those people were not guerrillas. When the people rioted in Sheladize, Erdogan again threatened, saying, “Some incidents are taking place there, terrorists damaged our vehicles, but we neutralized them.”
In other words, according to Erdogan, all Kurds are ‘terrorists’. But the biggest terrorist is the Turkish state. Who is doing more harm to the world than them? Whoever opposes the Turkish state calls them all ‘terrorists’. By murdering the civilians in Heftanîn, the Turkish state gave a message to the Iraqi government, the Bashur government, Iran and everyone around them. It clearly sees the regions from Mosul-Kirkuk to Aleppo and Bakur as the National Pact. In this direction, he sees the right to harm everyone. It considers those who submit to them as friends, and declares those who oppose them as ‘terrorists’ and makes them targets.

The Turkish state is the spoiled child of NATO. But one day they will also be a nuisance to NATO. It is a member of NATO, but it wants NATO to act according to its laws, not NATO’s laws. Some NATO member states say that we understand Turkey’s sensitivities regarding terrorism. What do you understand? The biggest terror is the Turkish state. Sometimes it approaches Russia to get concessions from NATO, sometimes it puts forward NATO to get concessions from Russia. He is constantly marketing himself, threatening everyone. He commits the greatest persecution in Bakur. He is imprisoning people innocently, killing Kurdish children with armored vehicles; nobody is asking. The so-called Turkish state has also signed the European Convention on Human Rights, but it does not fulfill one of them. Which European country is reacting to this? They say that we are brothers and friends with the Kurds.
We do not want such brotherhood and friendship. They say we have no end with the Kurds, they say they will invade Rojava every day. Every day they slaughter civilians in Rojava. Together with their gangs, they aim to scare the people of Rojava and evacuate the region. There are images of the massacres in Rojava, but no one says how you are committing such atrocities. Erdogan must be held accountable, he must be put on trial. What right do they have to persecute so many innocent people? We understand the Turkish state’s security concerns, some states say. What security concerns are there? The Turkish state has no rights in four parts of Kurdistan. They have come and occupied Kurdistan and are persecuting this people. Because of the real Turkish state, the Kurdish people have no security of life. These states basically have to hold Turkey accountable.
The massacres of the Turkish state in Kurdistan should be documented and presented to the whole world with official applications. These attacks should always be on the agenda. When Erdogan goes to NATO, he says with fake documents, ‘Look, the PKK is persecuting like this’. In other words, they bring together what they have done and blame the PKK. Against this, the Kurds should present the massacres of the Turkish state to the international courts with documents. Maybe results will not be obtained in a short time, but as long as it is kept on the agenda, results will be obtained. Or, the oppression of the Turkish state against the Kurdish people should not be left to their side. Erdogan gives orders, Hulusi Akar and Süleyman Soylu implement them in practice. They have been attacking the guerrilla with all immoral methods for four months before the eyes of the world, and they see themselves as successful in this war.
The PKK guerrilla is making a great sacrifice. Our friends from Avaşîn to Şikefta Birîndara, from Kurojahro to the west of the Zap, Girê Amediyê, Girê Hekarî are making great sacrifices. They deal great blows to the Turkish state in the defense of these areas, they pay the price, but they do not take a step back. In some tunnels, friends cannot drink water or eat for days, but it is the line of Rêber Apo and the PKK that keeps them alive. The friends who struggled there know very well why they resisted. Of course, we did not die on the ground, but our friends said many times that if there were dozens of martyrdoms for Kurds and Kurdistan, we would accept that martyrdom. This is the PKK’s militant line, its spirit of sacrifice.
If necessary, we will resist for another 40 years.
The Turkish state makes a statement every year that we have finished the PKK. According to the Turkish state, there are no guerrillas left. But to whom does it carry out these operations every day, from Botan to Amed, from Serhat to Dersim? If you finished the guerrilla in Bakur, to whom are you conducting these operations? Are your soldiers dying on their own? He has to explain some of his losses, there was an accident, the soldier died, the stone hit the soldier died, he drowned in the water and died. This is how he explains all his losses. They lie to the public all the time. The guerrilla is displaying a great resistance during this critical period. Our dear friends were martyred. These friends resisted with great will and self-sacrifice, and dealt great blows to the enemy. Considering the martyrs of the revolution, thousands of PKK militants heroically sacrificed their lives for a free Kurdistan and Kurds.
There has been a great war for 40 years, and we are paying the price. If necessary, we will resist for another 40 years. Until there is a free Kurdistan, until the physical freedom of Rêber Apo is achieved, we will pay whatever price we have to pay. But in the end, the Kurdish people will win along the lines of Rêber Apo. The guerrilla pioneers this in practice. Of course, the Kurdish community also fulfills its role. We salute those who are at the rallies day and night and make sacrifices to contribute to the revolution. Let our people know that the fact that they do not take a step back despite all the attacks of the enemy gives hope to our friends who are fighting in the positions. They better understand why they endure so much hardship.
Kurdish youth should take effective actions
In some places, young people do not have the opportunity to join the ranks. But they can organize secretly among themselves and carry out armed actions in Bakur and even in Turkish metropolises. All Turkish officials waging this war are targets. They don’t need instructions from anyone. A person who calls himself a patriotic Kurd can strike a blow to the enemy. The action against Kurds and anyone who harms Kurdistan is a contribution to this struggle. In other words, young people can organize without getting instructions from anywhere. The target is clear; They can harm the Turkish state’s economy everywhere, especially the AKP-MHP-affiliated forces, police and soldiers. Whatever the difficulties, we will continue this struggle as a guerrilla and we will achieve success. But the war must spread to the whole of Turkey.
He is even shamelessly trying to come to terms with Assad to overthrow the system in Rojava.
The AKP-MHP government is doing everything it can to eliminate the gains in Rojava. It is negotiating with NATO on the one hand and Russia on the other, trying to take advantage of the Ukraine-Russia war on the other. Erdogan has said unspeakable words about Assad, but he is even trying to come to terms with Assad without shame in order to overthrow the system in Rojava. He brought so many gangs to Idlib under the name of FSA, now he is even selling them. Those gangs have done so much damage to the Syrian regime, they have committed massacres. Supposedly, they had a purpose. In other words, Erdogan is deceiving everyone for his own interests.
The Turkish state says there are so many refugees, I want to resettle them. Where will he place it? to Rojava. But is that Kurdistan land? Property in Rojava is the right of the people there. It aims to bring the gangs it has gathered from all sides to Rojava; what about the people there? He wants to occupy it militarily. Since no state has made a sound against this situation, it finds the square empty. It also receives the support of NATO and some powers. The end of the Turkish state and AKP government is not good.

In this sense, we are in an important process. In order for us to force the Turkish state into war, the society must expose the Turkish state both in politics and diplomacy.
