The colonialist Turkish state, which carried out all kinds of attacks to destroy the reality of free Kurds and Kurdistan that emerged with the PKK, carried out a comprehensive invasion attack in the areas of Zap, Avaşîn and Metina on April 14 against our guerrilla, the hope of freedom of our people.

The HPG statement also stated:
“From the very first moment of the attack, our comrades, armed with Egîd’s spirit of victory, Berîtan’s unyielding stance of betrayal and surrender, and Zîlan’s self-sacrificing determination, have turned every inch of our land where the invaders set foot into a historical resistance area. Our forces resisting on every inch of Kurdistan’s territory have failed thousands of extensive attacks by the invading Turkish state in Bakure Kurdistan with the participation of thousands of invaders and contras, and also carried out many effective actions.
84 GUERRILLAS REACHED MARTYRDOM
