NEWS CENTER – Northern and Eastern Syria Autonomous Administration made a statement regarding the attack of the invading Turkish state against the UN-sponsored girls’ education center.
‘THIS IS A GENOCIDE ATTACK, A WAR CRIME’
The statement noted:
“After Erdogan’s talks with regional and international parties, the Turkish state’s attacks on our regions have increased. Citizens and commanders who fought against ISIS together with the International Coalition were martyred in the attacks. Today, it is carrying out attacks against our region and our people as part of the genocide war. Last night, the Turkish state drone targeted the Til Temir-Hesekê road and especially the girls’ training center in Şimoke village, which is 2 km away from the International Coalition base. In the attack, 4 children were martyred and 11 girls were injured. This brutal attack violates all international laws and is a war crime. It is also a genocidal attack against our people, the other side of ISIS.
Erdogan’s talk of a military operation means that he imposes his terror on everyone. This attack increases the danger to children, citizens and education centres. Moreover, it will create more chaos in Syria and create a new situation that will affect the whole of Syria.
The aim of the Turkish state is to legitimize the attack and occupation of our regions. The threat of attack is increasing day by day. This shows that Syria is under the threat and danger of the Turkish state. All Syrians should know this well and learn from the old and new policies of the Turkish state.”
