LONDON – Yesterday, after the long day of protesting in front of the Turkish embassy and KRG office. Several Bashuri community members returned back to the KRG office to make a declaration.
The Bashuri youth and other members, made a pledge to stand up against betrayal and occupation. The Turkish state’s operation against Southern Kurdistan with the help of NATO is an on-going battle. Kurdish people from all four parts of Kurdistan and outside of Kurdistan must stand up and walk the streets. We can not accept corrupt leadership. We can not sit in our houses and wait for something to happen. We must take this attack into our own hands and react. The revolutionary peoples war is about the freedom and democracy for every human in the world. Kurds and the friends of Kurds and all oppressed people must take action.
In London, after a long day of protests full of direct actions, a statement was made to pledge to action from Bashuri youth:
“We are gathered here today to condemn the facsist Turkish attacks against south Kurdistan, particularly the region of Zakho, and every other part of Kurdistan battling Turkish occupation and expansionism. Last week, with the help of KDP and NATO, and with the betrayal of the Barzani regime, Turkey attacked Zakho, killing 8 people and injuring over 20 Kurds. Everywhere we are in the world, as Kurds, an as the friends of the Kurdish people, we pledge to walk the streets and make our voice known to the world. We are here to make a promise to Defend Kurdistan against facism, betrayal and occupation. Biji Kurdistan!”
