LONDON – Today in London, the bashuri protest organizing committee collaborated with the bashuri youth initiative for a protest against the Turkish state and the Barzani regime.
The protest started in front of the Turkish embassy with slogans and speeches from many community members in sorani and English and Turkish. In the end of the protest, the people walked on the streets to the KRG office in London with slogans and banners.
When the protesters reached the KRG office. They shamed the barzani and KDP regime for their complicity and agreements with turkey. The people called for the collapse of the Turkish state and the collapse of the barzani/KDP leadership.
Many direct actions took place. The protesters broke the sign in front of the KRG office and stepped on it. They kicked and hit the KRG office door saying “come out if you are not afraid of your betrayal”
During the protests many Turkish flags and pictures of Erdogan and pictures of ataturk were burned on fire.
The people also started the slogan “we will not let our flag be tainted” the KDP regime has been using the flag rengin to do their dirty work. The bashuri people said we will not give permission for the flag to be used for dirty games and betrayal.
Police came at the very end of the protest to investigate the breaking of the door sign of the KRG office. Many of the protesters will come back to read a statement tonight at 6pm in front of the KRG office against the betrayal and occupation of southern Kurdistan.
