Revolutionary People’s War is a strategy of total popular resistance to colonialism, genocide and fascism
In the current conditions, it is not possible to win with political methods. All political channels and methods of resolution were blocked by the genocidal regime. The only way to overcome the special war regime and gain identity and freedom is the strategy of revolutionary people’s war. As a people in the grip of genocide, the Kurds need a self-defense mechanism more than ever. Assurance of the Kurds’ existence and freedom is the self-defense system they will organize with the revolutionary war for their rights. The fate of the Kurds depends on the self-defense system and the revolutionary war for their rights that will develop within this framework. Today’s strategy of the Revolutionary People’s War differs from the PKK’s style of warfare in the earlier trials. The Revolutionary People’s War is the true PEOPLE’S WARis the stage when people of all ages, youth, women, children and people of all ages, actively participate in the resistance in the consciousness of patriotism and freedom. As the worldwide examples show, there is no age limit for participating in the people’s war. Far beyond classical colonialism , the Kurdish people are subjected to a “cultural genocide”forced . Besides the political, military and economic plunder and exploitation based on classic colonialism, it is the Kurdish people themselves who are to be annihilated. Sacred places like land, language, culture, history, mentality, martyrdom, in short all material and spiritual national and human values are destroyed. In Rojava, new tasks are on the agenda. Stopping such cruel fascism and securing Kurdish existence can only be achieved through armed struggle and revolutionary people’s war. There is no other way to protect our threatened existence and to develop social measures for it by economic, social, political, legal, sanitary, cultural, military, ecological, ideological, political and diplomatic institutionalizations are provided. The chairman is this form of resistance. He described it as“War Communalism”. Before the Turkish special war regime is defeated and the genocidal policy is crushed, the demands for peace will remain only a hope and a dream. Even the struggle for peace has a reason and an answer. When the other party attack you to destroy you, you must take a defensive position. This is called a war of self-defense, a war of resistance or a people’s war. Otherwise there is no point in fighting for peace. For example, lifting the isolation in Imrali and meeting the leader will not solve the Kurdish problem. Without getting into a tough resistance process with fascism, peace will not be achieved. What kind of peace struggle can achieve results under the open policy of annihilation against the Kurdish people? What demand for peace can be fulfilled before the forces targeting the Kurdish genocide with the collapse plan are overthrown from power and the genocidal policy is ended? If the policy of genocide fails with a revolutionary people’s war, then a solution and peace can be achieved. The AKP-MHP, which has not been overthrown from power, will kill, arrest, ban, occupy the fascist government as it has done until now and will try to eliminate us as a people. Then, as a people gripped by genocide, we must be aware of our own truth.
Our current tasks in the Revolutionary People’s War
Knowing that we are a people caught in the grip of genocide with a policy of denial and destruction, we will not believe in and have no expectations of the “legal and human rights error” of the capitalist world. Our salvation lies in our own strength. We will mobilize our hate and anger towards the enemy. We will approach the enemy hostilely. With the emphasis of the Chairman; “You will exercise your right to defend by attacking wherever the attack is coming from. If they destroy, hit, break, kill, you will hit, break, kill. You will even answer twice. That’s so. Otherwise it doesn’t work.”Dismantling of the so-called educational centers, kindergartens and all structures working for them, operation within the framework of the special war that assimilates our children and subjects them to a cultural genocide, denial of the right to life, expulsion or punishment of all special war personnel with official and civilian appearance, such as officers and teachers , are used in this field. This is the most important task of the Revolutionary People’s War. The priority of the People’s Revolutionary War is the collapse of the colonial institutions and elements in our country.

The KDP betrayal can only be thwarted by the People’s Revolutionary War. That doesn’t mean sibling rivalry or civil war. As in Vietnam, China, Algeria and the Soviets, a war against the KDP will be a war of liberty against the treacherous and collaborative enemy forces within national democratic liberation. The KDP has made its choice, and by taking its place on the enemy front, it trades with the enemy against the freedom revolution, participates in the massacre of hundreds of guerrillas, and is a partner in genocide. Erdogan/AKP and Barzani/KDP have joined forces to overcome the crisis they are going through and have united in their war policy. The first pillar of the Revolutionary People’s War is guerrilla warfare at the strategic level. Being a guerrilla, joining the guerrilla, nurturing the guerrilla and forming the people’s army is the basis of self-defense and the people’s revolutionary war. It is a grave mistake to view the guerrilla as a purely military force. The guerrilla of Kurdistan is a military, ideological, political, social and cultural social force of construction. It is the main force that carries consciousness into society, organizes it in every way, educates it and leads to historical changes. The self-defense work done by the guerrillas, especially based on women’s freedom, is a great revolution. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the guerrilla as the leading force which institutionalizes, politicizes, socializes, sensitizes, uplifts and liberates the guerrillas in the revolutionary people’s war. Social consciousness and freedom cannot develop without the guerrillas.
The second strategic pillar next to the guerrilla war are the civilian actions that turn plains, villages, cities and metropolises into battlefields. Popular actions are self-defense activities developed by the people to protect themselves against attacks, including armed uprisings (serhildan). Leadership is defined as the “language of democracy”. A defenseless and inactive society cannot have democracy or peace. When the basic demands of the people are ignored, suppressed and subjected to denial and genocide, when the institutions and tools of democracy are rendered inoperative, when the people’s language, culture, social, political, national, economic and ideological values are attacked, the revolutionary people’s war activities inevitably become a solution. These actions evolve from the simple to the complex, from the specific to the general, from the individual to the community. In the form of protests, demonstrations, boycotts, sit-ins, marches, rallies, strikes, collective petitions, blanket rejection of the institutions of the colonial system, occupation, disputes, armed insurrection, a multi-layered resistance process is entered. It becomes a compound of the revolutionary people’s war with YPS and similar self-defense organizations. In the People’s Revolutionary War, the war is not limited to the mountains and the guerrillas, but wherever the enemy is, it becomes a battlefield. If any patriotic, democratic and socialist anti-fascist person, group or organization takes active and comprehensive action during the People’s Revolutionary War, turning every place they are in a war front, using the initiative without it organic ties or instructions, the colonial fascist system will be liquidated. War, occupation, massacre, genocide, denial, economic crisis, looting, oppression, unemployment, poverty, massacre of women, in short fascism and oppression developed by the AKP-MHP government in Turkey reflect the isolation in Imrali. Unless the isolation and torture systems are lifted, these problems will continue to increase. That is why the Chairman’s opposition to Imrali is crucial. The guerrilla is the main vanguard of the revolutionary people’s war. Without guerrilla resistance, nobody can practice democratic politics and arts in the name of freedom, democracy and Kurdishness in Kurdistan, Turkey. The guerrillas are heroically resisting and doing their part in the most heinous attacks by the genocidal Turkish state. The guerrillas who joined the July 14th prison resistance when we celebrated its 41st anniversary and Şehid Zilan (Zeynep Kınacı) who celebrated her 26th anniversary on June 30th resisted with superhuman will and with the spirit and style of self-sacrifice . It is precisely this spirit and this way of acting that will make us win.

However, the Revolutionary People’s War does not develop solely on the basis of the guerrilla forces. Approaches that shift the entire burden of the war onto the guerrillas are wrong. The victory was with the participation of our people it is obtained from PEOPLE’S WAR. We must put the strategy of revolutionary people’s war at the center of all our activities, actions, media, television programs and discussions. Our agenda is not a choice; It’s Imrali Resistance, it’s War of Independence, it’s Zap, it’s Avaşin, it’s Metina. Our agenda is guerrilla resistance at the heart of the revolution. If the People’s Revolutionary War becomes the main agenda and field of activity and the masses are mobilized accordingly, then fascism, colonialism, isolation and war can be ended. TOTAL POPULAR RESISTANCE in four parts of Kurdistan, feeding the guerrillas, joining them and turning every area into a war zone. This style will work. If the fire of war is strongly felt in the enemy’s house, street and city, if the fire of revolution burns loudly, then they will not be able to burn and bomb our country at will. If every patriot, anti-fascist, anti-fascist, socialist becomes the object of this people’s war and joins the resistance process, AKP-MHP fascism will be destroyed and it will be a historic advance and achievement for Turkey, the peoples of the Middle East and the Humanity achieved with the revolutionary development. The invincible spirit and will in Kurdistan, Garê, Metina, Zap and Avaşin is the fifty year old APOYÎ spirit, thought, emotion and will that has not been defeated for 24 years in the Imrali isolation and torture system. As this thought was created today and made invincible, it will set our leader, our country, the Middle East and humanity free, who will continue to make history with great sacrifice, great casualties and great heroism.
