SWEDEN – Another action was carried out in Sweden in support of the Revolutionary struggle in Kurdistan. The Swedish Solidarity committee for Rojava hanged YPG/YPJ flags in Gothenburg city center. In previous actions were they projected the images of PKK and Abdullah Ocalan on buildings of the state, the prime ministers Ann Linde was forced to come to the public explaining that this was not the position of the government, in order to maintain the image towards turkey and doesn’t get in the way of their treat on NATO application.
The group stated on their twitter account:
“This week, the revolution in Rojava turned 10 years old. To honor the struggle, and remember those who sacrificed everything for a better world, YPG and YPJ flags were hoisted in several places in central Gothenburg. Do not look among the mountains – we are everywhere!”
