LONDON – Today in London, UK. The JXK committee set-up a table on university campus to gather signatures to delist the PKK from the international terrorist organization’s list. The JXK committee is launching an intense schedule to visit every university campus in London and bring attention to the Kurdish struggle movement, the simultaneous womens liberation movement and the ideologies and detainment condition of leader Abdullah Ocalan.
The Kurdish youth, who met with interest from London residents, gathered dozens of signatures with the booth they opened in the university garden, explaining that the ban against the PKK is political and that one should be sensitive to it.
The committee called for action by JXK committees around the world to have university campuses gather signatures on busy streets. “We need to take action wherever we are and whenever possible. A free and democratic future must be created by us and for us. This year will be the year of victory and freedom, but it must be with the action of every Kurdish and comrade around the world to join this revolution and make it a reality.”
Stating that they will participate more actively in the upcoming period against the implemented policies and enlarge the petition and bring it to a conclusion, the young women underlined that the attitude of the European Union towards the PKK is actually an attitude taken against the entire Kurdish people.
