“The resistance, which our armed forces have developed with great courage and determination for victory, continues without interruption. Unsuccessfully, the Turkish army is constantly trying to overcome the tactical blockade on the battlefield by expanding the scope of the invasion operation and intensively using banned chemical weapons against our armed forces.
To this end, on the night of July 4, it expanded its invasion operation west of the Zap towards the Girê-Amediye line, also using powerful chemical weapons against the war positions and tunnels. The occupying Turkish army used 6 types of chemical weapons against the resistance areas and bombarded the fighting positions with chemical weapons and explosives 22 times. In addition, the resistance areas were bombed 28 times by warplanes, 36 times by attack helicopters and dozens of times by howitzers. As a result of the effective actions developed by our mobile teams from Botan to Zagros, from Metîna to Zap; 32 occupiers were fined, 3 occupiers were injured, 1 Transit type military vehicle, 1 drone was destroyed, 1 drone and 2 helicopters were hit.
The details of the actions performed and the attacks performed are as follows;
As part of the offensive Egîdên Botanê Şehid Diljîn – Şehid Şervan Êrkendî;
- On June 27, the occupiers, who wanted to drive a transit vehicle to Girê Tenûre in the Besta area of Botan, were brought under control by our YJA Star mobile teams and hit with sabotage tactics at 07:30. The vehicle targeted for this action was completely destroyed and the 6 occupants in it were punished. After the action, the invaders removed their victims from the area using helicopters.
In the Avaşîn region as part of the Bazên Zagros revolutionary offensive;
- On July 4th, the occupiers in the Werxelê resistance area were pursued by our troops. Our forces, which twice brought the occupiers under control at 09:15 using sabotage tactics, then used hand grenades and personal weapons against the occupiers. By 1:00 p.m., our troops fired 5 times at the occupiers and a total of 7 occupiers were fined and 1 injured.
- From the night of July 4th until the morning hours of July 5th, fierce clashes took place between our armed forces and the occupying forces around the Şehid Têkoşer fighting positions.
In the Zap region as part of the Bazên Zagros revolutionary offensive;
- On July 4th at 08:00 and 08:10, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the fighting positions of Şehid Umîd were hit twice by our YJA Star forces with sabotage tactics and 2 invaders were seriously injured. The occupiers, who became active again between 08:30 and 10:00, were again hit with sabotage tactics. After our armed forces intervened, the occupiers had to retreat a step.
- On July 4 at 04:00, two drones were attacked by our forces in the Çemço resistance area. As a result of this action, 1 drone was shot down and 1 drone was hit.
- On July 4th, the invaders who wanted to enter the Çemço resistance area with armored vehicles were met and defeated by our forces.
- On July 4 at 3:00 p.m., the invaders who were trying to advance towards the fighting positions in the Kokerê area were hit with individual weapons.
As part of the revolutionary campaign of Cenga Xabûre Şehid Savaş Maraş;
- On July 4th at 06:15 the occupiers in the Girê Cûdî resistance area were attacked by our mobile teams with sniper tactics and 1 occupier was punished.
- On July 4 at 12:30 p.m., the invaders in the Girê Cûdî resistance area were hit with heavy weapons.
- On July 4 at 11:30 p.m. the occupiers in the Girê Cûdî resistance area were fired upon using sniper tactics and another occupier was punished.
- At 09:45 on July 4, the occupiers who wanted to cut down the trees in the Girê FM resistance area were shot at with sniper tactics and 1 occupier was punished.
- On July 4 at 5:00 p.m., the Turkish occupying army bombed the Girê Amediyê resistance area with howitzers and mortars. At 18:10 the area was bombed 17 times by warplanes. At 21:30, four attack helicopters from the Amediyê subdistrict of Duhok bombed the area, while helicopters landed 31 times on the Girê Amediyê resistance area. During these landings, our forces jammed the helicopters and 2 Skorskys were hit. The occupiers who landed on the area at 00:30 were fired on from two sides by our mobile teams using infiltration tactics. Here a total of 10 occupiers were punished by melee hits from the first and second action groups. The punished occupiers were taken out of the area by 2 helicopters.
- On July 5 at 05:30 the occupiers in the Girê Amediye resistance area were fired upon using sniper tactics and 1 occupier was punished.
Attacks by the occupying Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives;
- On July 4, the fighting positions of Girê Hakkarî, Girê Cûdî, Şikefta Birîndara, Şehid Umîd and Kokerê were bombed 22 times with chemical weapons and explosives. It was established that the war criminal Turkish army used 6 types of chemical weapons in the resistance areas. The first; emitted a burning smell, the second; has a dense and slow flow, the third; gives off the smell of bleach and chlorine, the fourth; resembled pepper spray that burns the face and eyes, the Fifth; was gray in color and leaves a sweet taste in the mouth, the sixth; exudes a fruity scent.
Attacks by the Turkish occupying army with howitzers, attack helicopters and fighter planes;
- Intense drone activity continues over the resistance areas.
- On July 4, the resistance areas Girê Hakkarî, Girê Cûdî, Girê FM, Dola Şehîd Tekoşer, Şikefta Birîndara, Kurojahro, Kokerê, Çemço and Werxelê were bombed dozens of times with howitzers, mortars and heavy weapons fired from the border police stations.
- On July 3, the resistance areas of Girê Hakkarî, Girê Amediyê, Werxelê, Şikefta Birîndara and Kurojahro were bombed 36 times by helicopter gunships.
- On July 3, the resistance areas of Girê Amediye, Şikefta Birîndara and Kurojahro were bombed 28 times by warplanes.”
