BEHDINAN – HPG Press Center shared the following details about the war in a written statement:
“The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla continues its historical resistance uninterruptedly in the face of the invading operation of the colonial Turkish state. As a result of the actions in which our mobile teams skillfully used the guerrilla tactics of the new era; 7 occupants were punished and 1 occupant was injured.
The invading Turkish army bombed the battle positions in the Resistance Zones 8 times with chemical weapons and explosives, 11 times with warplanes and 35 times with attack helicopters.
The details of the actions and attacks carried out are as follows;
In the Zap region as part of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign;
- At 10:15 on July 22, the invaders who wanted to advance to the Martyr Umît battle positions were hit by sabotage tactics by our forces and 1 invader was punished.
- On July 22, at 11:00, the invaders, who wanted to advance towards the Martyr Umît battle positions with the support of a tank, were hit with heavy weapons by our forces. After the intervention of our forces, the invaders dispersed to the land.
- On July 22, a helicopter that wanted to land on the Çemço Resistance Area was brought under fire by our forces with heavy weapons. The helicopter had to leave the area before it could land.
Within the framework of the Cenga Xabûre Martyr War Maraş Revolutionary Campaign;
- On 17, 18 and 22 July, the invaders in Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were shot three times by our mobile teams with assassination tactics and 3 invaders were punished.
- On July 22, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted and shot twice by our mobile teams. In these actions, 1 occupant was punished and 1 occupant was injured.
- The invaders, who took action in the Girê FM Resistance Area at 09:15 on July 22, were shot by our forces with an assassination tactic and 1 invader was punished.
- On July 22, at 12:00, the battle positions in the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area were bombarded with tear gas. At 12:30, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the battle positions were hit with individual weapons and hand grenades. After the intervention, the invaders retreated one step.
- On July 22, at 00:30, the invaders in the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were shot by our mobile teams with an assassination tactic and 1 invader was punished.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives ;
- On July 22, the Girê Hakkarî, Girê Amediyê Resistance Areas and Martyr Umît battle positions were bombed 8 times with chemical weapons and explosives.
Attacks by the invading Turkish army with helicopters and warplanes;
- On July 22, drone activity was observed in Girê Hakkarî, Kurojahro, Girê Cûdî, Girê FM and Girê Amediyê Resistance Areas.
- On July 22, the Zap water vicinity, Çemço, Sîda, Girê Amediyê, Girê Cûdî Resistance Areas were bombed 11 times with warplanes.
- On July 22, Werxelê, Girê Hakkarî, Girê Cûdî, Girê FM and Girê Amediye Resistance Areas were bombed 35 times with attack helicopters.
