BEHDÎNAN – The Press Center of the HPG said in a statement:
“As a result of effective hits by our mobile teams, 11 occupiers were fined, 2 occupiers were injured and 1 combat helicopter was hit. The occupying Turkish army, unsuccessful in the face of our forces, bombed the resistance areas 23 times with warplanes, 14 times with attack helicopters, 3 times with chemical weapons and explosives and dozens of times with howitzers.”
The HPG shared the following information on the measures taken and the details of the attacks:
“As part of the revolutionary offensive Bazên Zagros in the Avaşîn region;
- On June 30 at 7:50 p.m. the occupiers in the Kokerê area were attacked by our mobile teams from three sides and met with a coordinated guerrilla action. At least 4 occupiers were punished and 2 occupiers were injured in this action carried out by our armed forces with heavy and individual weapons.
- At 02:30 on July 1, the occupiers in the Kokerê area were attacked by our YJA Star forces using sniper tactics and 1 occupier was punished.
In the Zap region as part of the revolutionary Bazên Zagros offensive;
- At 22:00 on June 29, attack helicopters planning to bomb the Kurojahro resistance area were attacked by our forces and came under heavy fire and 1 attack helicopter was hit. After the operation, the helicopters had to leave the area.
- At 09:30 and 13:00 on June 30, the occupiers in the Kurojahro Resistance Area were attacked using sniper tactics, and two occupiers were punished.
As part of the revolutionary offensive Cenga Xabûre Şehîd Savaş Maraş ;
- On June 30 at 11:50 a.m. and on July 1 at 07:30 a.m., the occupiers in the Girê Cûdî resistance area were attacked with the murder tactic and two occupiers were punished.
- On July 1st at 05:00 the occupiers in the Girê Cûdî resistance area were attacked and fired upon by our mobile teams, two occupiers were punished.
Attacks by the occupying Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives;
- On June 30, the Girê Şehid Rêber wartime tunnels in the Karker resistance area were bombed three times with chemical weapons and explosives.
Attacks by the Turkish occupying army with howitzers, combat helicopters and combat aircraft;
- On June 30, the Girê Amediye, Saca, Sîda and Rênçbiraxa areas and the Neqeba Sinînê area in Xakurkê were bombed with howitzers fired from border police stations. After the bombing, the fires continue in the Saca area.
- On June 30, the resistance areas of Gire Hakkarî, Gire FM, Kurojahro, Girê Amediye and Girê Cûdî were bombed 14 times by helicopter gunships.
- On June 30, the resistance areas of Girê Amediye, Girê Bihar, Werxelê, Saca, Çemço and Sîda were bombed 23 times by warplanes.”
