BEHDINAN – Making a written statement, HPG-BİM said, “Our mobile guerrilla teams are dealing heavy blows to the invaders by fighting with the Apoist spirit of sacrifice. As a result of the effective actions of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, which showed a historical resistance under the most difficult conditions; 10 invaders were punished, 3 invaders were injured and 1 armored vehicle was hit. The invading Turkish army bombed the Resistance Areas with chemical weapons and explosives, 9 times with warplanes, 27 times with attack helicopters, and dozens of times with howitzers and heavy weapons.
In the statement, the following details regarding the guerrilla actions and the attacks of the invaders were given:
In the Zap region as part of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign;
- On July 17, at 09:00, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the battle positions in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area were targeted and shot by our forces with individual weapons. Here, 2 occupiers were punished, 1 occupant was injured and 1 armored vehicle was hit.
- The Skorsky helicopter, which wanted to land on the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area on July 17 at 22:30, came under intense fire by our forces. As a result of the hits, the helicopter had to leave the area without being able to land.
- On July 17, at 19:50, the invaders around the Martyr Arjin battle positions were shot by our mobile YJA Star teams in a coordinated guerrilla action from both sides. As a result of this action carried out by the first and second action arms with heavy and individual weapons, 6 invaders were punished.
Within the framework of the Cenga Xabûre Martyr War Maraş Revolutionary Campaign;
- On 17 July, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the battle positions in the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area were hit twice with sabotage tactics. As a result of these actions, 1 occupant was punished and 1 occupant was injured. The bodies of the punished invaders remained under the control of our forces until night hours.
- On July 17, 19:10, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the battle positions in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted and hit. In this action, 1 occupant was punished and 1 occupant was injured.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives;
- On 17 July, the battle positions in the Girê FM Resistance Area were bombed with chemical weapons and explosives.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with helicopters, howitzers, heavy weapons and warplanes;
- On 17 July, drone activity took place over Girê Hakkarî, Girê Amediyê, Girê FM, Girê Cûdî and Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Areas.
- On 17 July, the Girê Bihar, Girê Amediyê, Sîda, Saca Resistance Areas and the Zap water area were bombed 9 times with warplanes.
- On 17 July, Werxelê, Kurojahro, Girê Hakkarî and Girê Amediyê Resistance Areas were bombed 27 times with attack helicopters.
- On 17 July, the Girê Hakkarî, Kela Çemço and Girê Cûdî Resistance Areas were bombed dozens of times with howitzers and heavy weapons fired from the border police stations.
