NEW CENTRAL – The Rojava Revolution that started on July 19, 2012, wrote its name in history as the Women’s Revolution, the young women who took the lead in this revolution became a symbol of struggle and resistance. Young women who are the leaders of the people of Kurdistan, who are constant defenders of the truth of the revolution, in the person of Arin Mirkan, take their place in the Kurdistan Revolution with their sacrifice.
The young women who organize themselves under the name of Young Women’s Union within the Rojava Revolution continue to serve the revolution with their many activities. Young women who continue their resistance every day, face many enemy attacks, are facing special war policies, one of the young women, Feryal Temi, who continues to resist and fight despite all the attacks, is part of our file. with the title of the 10th Anniversary of the Rojava Revolution, spoke to our agency.
Firyal Temi expressed his entire speech as follows;
“My name is Firyal Temi, I am from the city of Kobanê, and I am a member of the Women’s Union. Before the Rojava revolution, women were really oppressed, they were left without rights, they were under the influence of the BAIS Regime, women did not recognize themselves. However, after the Rojava revolution, which was developed based on Leader Apo’s ideas and philosophy, women were removed from certain stereotypes. Leader Apo was the first person who could liberate women with his thoughts. Therefore, it is important for every woman, especially young women, to have this idea. However, we have shortcomings in this point, we ourselves do not fully support this idea, but on the other hand, Leader Apo’s ideas have not reached anyone. However, there is a big difference between the process before the revolution and after the revolution. In fact, before the Rojava revolution and after the revolution, the difference between them was more evident than anyone else’s. This is especially true for women and especially young women. We can say that they took their place in all fields. Let’s look at today, YPJ fought against the fiercest forces and won. Today, every woman who stands up for Leader Apo’s ideas comes out. That is why we define the Rojava revolution as the revolution of women and youth. Therefore, women and youth should play their role in leading this revolution. Especially the young women should rise to their main duty and take care of the revolution and protect it. When the work of young women was established, there were many difficulties at first, especially in the aspect of giving them the recognition of their truth, because the fakes of the enemy were still increasing. They could not understand and understand everything easily. ”
“Today, the enemy is carrying out special policies on young women through a special war. The enemy sees that every activity that is organized is led by young women, and this makes the enemy afraid. Today, if so many women are murdered, women are married at a young age, the reason for this is all these hostile policies. The enemy wants to keep young women away from leading the revolution through these influences. Because they know that if a young woman takes the lead, this revolution will be successful, this is definitely a danger for them. The goal of every young woman who organized herself on the basis of Leader Apo’s ideas and philosophy should be to reach all young women and spread Leader Apo’s free ideas. Because if a young woman is not organized, does not know herself and does not know herself, she will not be able to know her enemy. Therefore, she will not know how to fight against the enemy.”
“The most concrete example of the state’s fear of young women is the martyrdom of three young women who were targeted by an unmanned aircraft. Those three young women were the leaders of all the young women. That is why the Turkish state made this their target. As young women, the testimony of these three friends was a pain for us, and this pain leads us to anger against the occupation.”
“We, as a women’s movement, are in the midst of promoting these three friends. We are trying to make everyone aware of the truth of the enemy. It is true that we may face difficulties in this kind of work, but behind this difficulty there is a great success. Our goal is to destroy the occupation and a free Kurdistan.”
“Lastly, my call is for all young women to take a leadership role in this process. Young women should be the first to stand against this invasion. In the end, I say to all the young women of Kurdistan, take care of your personality and take care of Leader Apo’s thoughts, until we free Leader Apo physically and build a free Kurdistan.
