BEHDINAN – The message of the People’s Defense Center (HSM) Headquarters Command stated:
“The last comprehensive invasion operation launched by the invading Turkish army against Medya Defense Areas has left its 105th day behind as of today. These invasion attacks were met with historical resistance by the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla. The first front of this sacred resistance was built by the brave commanders and warriors of our Zap Province, who fought with the selfless Apoist spirit and did not allow the invasion and the occupier. The resistance developed by our forces against the attacking invaders with the unlimited technical support of NATO and their march on the line of victory once again proved the invincibility of the guerrilla.
You, our commanders and fellow fighters in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area, with an unwavering will, resisting all attacks and using the rich guerrilla tactics of the new era, dealt great blows to the invading Turkish army. Despite the thousands of attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with warplanes, attack helicopters, mortars, howitzers and banned chemical weapons, it has come to naught by crashing into the walls of your resistance made of steel willpower. Not only were the enemy attacks ineffective, but the active action of the mobile teams and your comrades in the battle tunnels, the high courage and the ability to successfully apply the tactics of victory dealt heavy blows to the enemy.
After the attack helicopter you shot down on 30 May, another Skorsky helicopter was shot down on July 24 in Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area. Then, on 25 July, the invaders in the area were hit with great success by targeting them from both sides with the infiltration tactic by our mobile teams, 1 tank was destroyed and at least 5 invaders were punished. These successful actions against the invaders who wanted to attack the war tunnels were the most concrete examples of the falconry style.
The successful military nature of these successful actions, as well as the fact that the genocidal Turkish state was the answer to the inhuman attack targeting innocent civilians in Perex of Zaxo, showed that the Freedom Guerrilla is the legitimate defense force of all Middle Eastern peoples. At the same time, these actions, which took place on the seventh anniversary of the genocidal attacks launched by the colonialist Turkish state on our people and our movement on July 24, 2015, once again proved that the efforts of the people of Kurdistan to liquidate the cause of existence and freedom are futile.
We congratulate all the commanders and warrior comrades who contributed to these successful actions carried out with creative tactics in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area as part of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign, and who resisted with a superior will in difficult conditions, for their outstanding performance and success. We warmly greet all of the Shikefta Birîndara Insurgents, especially those who took part in the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign and fought selflessly and marched to victory step by step, and wish them continued success.”
