BEHDINAN – KCK Executive Council Co-chairman Cemil Bayık made important assessments on the agenda.
Stating that the isolation against Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan is getting worse with each passing day, Bayık emphasized that the AKP-MHP put pressure on Abdullah Öcalan to maintain its rule and perpetuate its fascist system. Referring to the effect of the Gemlik march held in the past days to end the isolation, Bayık said that the Turkish state wanted to prevent the march but failed. Underlining that the march gave courage to everyone despite all the pressures, Bayık said that the curtain of fear created by the AKP-MHP government was also destroyed with this march.
Bayık, who commemorated the martyr Zîlan who took a self-deprecating action on June 30, 1996, said, “Heval Zîlan made it vital because he understood the line developed by Rêber Apo very well. Heval Zîlan understood very well the attacks of the genocidal state against the movement, Rêber Apo and the Kurdish people. He focused on how he would stand against the people and how he would send a message to the militants of the movement, and he put this into practice in practice. Therefore, the practice developed by the martyr Zîlan became a benchmark for this movement and the people. The militants of this movement are based on this line of sacrifice. In Avaşîn, in Metîna, they are applying the self-deprecating line of heval Zîlan at the highest level,” he said.
Reminding that the Turkish state attacks Bakur, Bashur and Rojava every day, Bayık mentioned that the KDP also played a role in the murder of martyr Ferhat Şibî and his friends. Noting that the MIT would not be able to carry out such massacres if the KDP did not provide intelligence, Bayık said, “KDP and KDP intelligence collect information, give intelligence to the MIT in and outside the Parastin Medya Defense Areas, identify their friends, especially those in charge, places, houses, vehicles, and all of this information. He gives it to the MIT. The MIT also carries out attacks and massacres with this information. If the KDP and Parastin do not cooperate with the Turkish state, Turkey cannot take a step in any area of Bashur, let alone Kelar,” he said.

The aggravated isolation against Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan continues. There is no news from Abdullah Öcalan, and he is constantly being disciplined. What is AKP-MHP aiming with this isolation? Reactions to the isolation also continue. One of these reactions was the Gemlik march. How do you evaluate the Gemlik march, the attitude of the people and the actions against the isolation?
A Gemlik march was held against the isolation against Rêber Apo. The Turkish state wanted to prevent this march, but failed. That’s why the Gemlik march had a great impact. For this reason, I greet and pay my respects to everyone who took part in this march and made an effort. The curtain of fear created by the AKP-MHP government in society was destroyed with this march. The Gemlik march gave courage to everyone. After the march, there were both positive discussions and discussions serving psychological warfare. But this shows the power and influence of Rêber Apo. If Rêber Apo had not been so influential, such discussions would not have taken place.
There is a reason why the isolation against Rêber Apo is getting worse day by day. They continue the isolation in order to maintain the AKP-MHP power and perpetuate their fascist system. AKP-MHP is putting pressure on Rêber Apo to maintain his power and perpetuate his fascist system. The leadership does not accept this and is resisting. They want to break the will of Rêber Apo. That’s why they’re deepening the isolation even more. Rêber Apo has a truth. He was taken prisoner because he was fighting for freedom for the Kurdish people, for the peoples of the Middle East. Both when Rêber Apo was abroad and after he was taken prisoner, he focused on the democratization of Turkey and the solution of the Kurdish problem on this basis. Rêber Apo protected, defended and expanded the values created by the revolutionaries, socialists and democratic forces in Turkey.
RÊBER APO GIVES THE WAR FOR DEMOCRACY AND FREEDOM
If the values of democracy have been kept alive in Turkey, the role of Rêber Apo is very big here. Rêber Apo wants to develop a democratic system in Turkey. In this system, he wants to solve the problems of all peoples, people of different faiths. That’s why he struggles. The AKP-MHP is against democracy and is using all Turkey’s means to perpetuate its fascist system. The biggest obstacle in front of them is Rêber Apo. That’s why psychological warfare is also being waged in Imrali. AKP-MHP wants to impose fascism and completely eliminate everyone who does not serve it. Rêber Apo stands against this and is fighting for democracy and freedom. A war is being waged on this basis in Imrali. Our people have understood this very well, and the socialists and intellectuals in Turkey are also better understood day by day. Again, the peoples of Turkey began to understand this, albeit slowly. That’s why everyone should stand up against isolation. Anyone who says they are against the AKP-MHP, they want to establish a democratic republic system in Turkey and solve problems through democratic means should stand against isolation. The measure of democracy and freedom today is to oppose isolation. This is for Rêber Apo’s voice to reach everyone. He who does not stand against isolation cannot say that I am a democrat, socialist, against fascism, and that he will develop democracy in Turkey.
It was the 26th anniversary of Martyr Zîlan’s sacrifice action on June 30, 1996. How is the line of sacrifice developed under the leadership of Martyr Zîlan kept alive in the Freedom Movement? How should sacrifice be understood?
Rêber Apo created a self-deprecating movement in Kurdistan. Because nothing other than sacrifice can be an answer to what has been done in Kurdistan. It cannot bring the Kurdish people back from the dead and resurrect them. That’s why the struggle has been developed through sacrifice from the very beginning of the movement to the present. The militants of this movement and the Kurdish people are fighting selflessly every day. Heval Zîlan made it vital because he understood the line developed by Rêber Apo very well. That’s why Rêber Apo put a lot of emphasis on heval Zîlan. Because heval Zîlan understood the line very well and accordingly, he made a sacrifice action. He understood very well the genocidal state’s attacks against the movement, Rêber Apo and the Kurdish people. He focused on how he would stand against this, what message he would send to the people and the militants of the movement, and he put this into practice in practice. For this reason, martyr Zîlan The practice developed by the movement became a benchmark for this movement and the people. The militants of this movement are also based on the line of this bodyguard. In Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna, they implement the self-deprecating line of heval Zîlan at the highest level.
If we want to understand the line of these activists, we need to know Rêber Apo’s line well. If the line is well understood, the struggle develops on the basis of sacrifice. The line of sacrifice created by Rêber Apo is sometimes misunderstood. The perception that they will go and take action based on sacrifice and die there is not correct. Rêber Apo stood against the philosophy developed by the invading Turkish state in Kurdistan. The philosophy developed by the enemy is the philosophy of death. Because of what was done to our people, people were saying, ‘Even if God takes our lives, we can be saved’. So they saw the solution in death. Because the invading Turkish state had developed the philosophy of death in our society. Rêber Apo developed his philosophy of life against this. With this philosophy, they stood against occupation and genocide. This philosophy brought the Kurdish people from their deathbed.
There is no greater bouncer than Rêber Apo. Because he devoted his whole life to the freedom of peoples. He lives for democracy and freedom. He does not live a life other than that. He has forbidden a free and undemocratic life to himself and his people. On this basis, he developed a historical struggle. Since Heval Zîlan understood that line well, he made a bouncer action. Because of this, Zîlan is still alive today. It is this line of resistance that keeps the movement, the militants and the people alive.
A fierce war has been going on in Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna since April 17, 2021. What is the latest situation in the war and how do you evaluate the resistance of HPG-YJA Star guerrillas? What is your message to the guerrillas fighting in Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna?
A great war is being waged in the Media Defense Areas. AKP-MHP is a war power. There is an unwritten law in Turkey, whoever wages war against the Kurdish people can come to power. Other than that, it’s not possible. If the incoming government cannot succeed in its war against the Kurdish people, it cannot stand. The AKP-MHP government is also using all the possibilities of Turkey to fulfill the task given to them. Because if the PKK cannot eliminate the guerrilla movement, it cannot complete the genocide. Then they can’t stay in power either. They will even be held accountable. They know this very well. That is why they are attacking Rêber Apo, the PKK, the guerrilla and the free Kurd, using all their means. In this way, to continue their fascist system and to make Turkey for the Kurds, for the peoples, intellectuals, writers, artists,
That’s why they make all kinds of attacks. He has cast aside morality, the laws of war, the constitution, international law. They are working day and night to destroy the PKK and the Kurdish people. They also declare anyone who does not serve them in this regard as traitors. They pursue such a policy. They are using all the technique that NATO has given them. It’s not enough, they use chemical weapons, tactical nuclear weapons, thermobaric bombs. They are attacking with them day and night without a break and they want to get results in this way. The fact that no one makes a sound despite using all these weapons is not related to the power of the Turkish state. Some states give all of these weapons to the Turkish state for their own interests, and the Turkish state also uses them. They also promised the Turkish state that they would not make a sound when they used these weapons.
THE TURKISH STATE HAS TREATED THE ETHICS OF WAR
It was stated in the press that chemical weapons were used and there were explosions. But no one knows what these explosions are. However, why and how these explosions occurred should also be explained to the public. The bombs used by the Turkish state are not ordinary bombs. It destroys the caves where they detonate, and kills whatever is in the cave. In other words, the Turkish state is not waging a normal war against the guerrilla. He trampled the laws of war, the morality of war. He wants to get results using all banned weapons. The guerrilla is fighting against these attacks heroically and selflessly. It gives a historical resistance. The guerrilla knows the purpose of the Turkish state. That’s why he is fighting with his life as a shield against the Turkish state and chemical weapons. They don’t have big weapons and opportunities. The guerrilla writes epic under difficult conditions, inflicting blow after blow on the enemy.
The invading Turkish state is at a loss as to what to do. Because it takes big hits. He hides this from the people of Turkey and the public. They don’t want anyone to understand their weakness. Many soldiers are killed but do not appear in the media. Because the Turkish state, the AKP-MHP government warned all of them that you will not write about these deaths. If someone writes it, it will be removed. This is how they hide what happened in Zap, Metîna and Avaşîn. On this occasion, I congratulate the Kurdish people, the peoples of the Middle East, the Zap, Metîna and Avaşîn volunteers, and present my respects. They are fighting not only for the Kurdish people and the PKK, but also for humanity, they are martyred. All of them are great martyrs of the Kurdish people and humanity. I commemorate the martyrs of this struggle with respect. They give their lives, the Kurdish people, humanity defends their values. The people gain strength from their struggle. Those heroes, those bouncers play such a historical role.
The invading Turkish state is attacking many areas in Maxmur, Şengal and Başûr, as well as Medya Defense Areas. Ferhat Shibli was martyred in the attack on Kelar. Can the Turkish state carry out these attacks without intelligence assistance? Who supports the Turkish state? What is the reaction of the Southern political parties and the Iraqi state to these attacks?
I commemorate Ferhat Şibli and those who were martyred next to him with respect. Ferhat Şiblî is one of the pioneers of the Rojava Revolution. Rojava has rendered a great service to our people. He lived his whole life for the freedom of the Kurdish people. He devoted his life to the service of his people. He fought against ISIS. If DAESH, which is a great scourge for humanity, has disappeared or weakened, it is necessary to see the effort and struggle of heval Ferhat. When he was martyred, our people of Rojava strongly supported the martyr Ferhat. Not only the Kurdish people, but all the peoples living in North-East Syria took care of heval Ferhat. This proves his service for those peoples.
MIT MAKES MASSACRE WITH KDP COOPERATION
The Turkish state attacks Bakur, Bashur and Rojava every day. He openly says, ‘Whoever is fighting for the freedom of the Kurdish people is my enemy’. Because he wants to root out the Kurds. That’s why it targets everyone who fights for the Kurds. The Turkish state cannot afford to massacre Martyr Ferhat and his friends in the Kelar district of Süleymaniye. If the KDP, KDP’s intelligence and those who cooperate with them had not informed the MIT, the MIT could not have gone to Kelar and carried out such a massacre. Our people know this very well. KDP and KDP intelligence gather information to MIT in and outside the Parastin Medya Defense Areas, provide intelligence, identify their friends, especially those in charge, places, houses, vehicles, and give all of this information to MIT. MIT is also making attacks with this information, commits massacres. If the KDP does not cooperate with the Turkish state of Parastin, Turkey cannot take a step in any area of Bashur, let alone Kelar. KDP works with MIT in every sense. That’s why MIT is making such massacres.
The Turkish state has given the MIT a great task and opportunity to eliminate the Kurds. MIT is also carrying out these massacres in cooperation with the KDP. There are also collaborators in Bakur and they are making attacks through them. The stance of the Iraqi state is in sight. They do not take any stance against the Turkish state. The Turkish state occupies Bashur, builds military bases, carries out massacres everywhere, but there is no word from the Iraqi government. It means that they are partners in the massacres, so they do not speak up. If they are reacting to the massacres of the Turkish state in Bashur and Iraq, they should stand against it. But they are silent. The meaning of this is to see the Turkish state’s actions as correct. Of course, the Iraqi people and some parties are against the invasion of the Turkish state. But they also need to put pressure on their governments. If they put pressure, the government can’t keep quiet like this.
THE DANGER RISES FOR BAŞUR AND IRAQ
The KDP is already silent in Bashur, and the government is also silent. The KDP also put Bashur parties under pressure. Both the Turkish state and the KDP are putting pressure on the Bashur parties to remain silent against the occupation. Anyone who says ‘I am fighting for the Kurdish people, for democracy and freedom’ should stand against this occupation. In this sense, pressure should be put on the KDP. Then they will have played their role for the Kurdish people and humanity. Some show their reactions by making statements, but these need to be even stronger. If it is said, ‘These attacks are only against the PKK’, it is self-deception. There are reasons why MIT is carrying out massacres through the PKK today. Because they see the PKK as the biggest obstacle to their goals. But this should not mean that they will be limited to the PKK. The danger for Bashur, and even for Iraq, is growing every day. I hereby call upon both the Iraqi parties, the Iraqi people, and the political parties in Bashur; Stand against the invasion attacks of the Turkish state. If there is no reaction to the occupation today, they will suffer greater blows tomorrow.
Whatever MIT did in Turkey and Northern Kurdistan, it is doing the same in the South. It threatens patriots, struggling people, offers money to surrender, imposes spying on young people. What does this work of MIT mean and what should society do about it?
There are purges against our movement, and genocidal attacks against our people. The Turkish state and the AKP-MHP government have given MIT a major role in this policy. MIT is carrying out a policy of genocide. MIT is a private psychological warfare center. The MIT is actually conducting the special psychological warfare. It also carries out physical massacres on the basis of special psychological warfare. He is doing it in Bakur, Rojava, Bashur and Europe. These massacres. Since MIT has assumed such a role, the state has provided many opportunities. MIT also carries out massacres with these opportunities. MIT also has a powerful technique. He also takes advantage of it.
MIT’s biggest collaborator is Barzani. Everyone knows this. If Barzani had not cooperated with the MİT, the situation of the Kurdish people would have been much better today. Because the Kurds can lead a strong life in the Middle East with the means at their disposal. KDP and Barzani are preventing this. They serve the Turkish state. That’s why Kurdish society is seeing their true face day by day. Just as the Turkish state, AKP-MHP government was exposed, Barzani and KDP were also exposed. MIT uses a phone. On this basis, they formed a team. Some of that team stands on Bakur, some on Bashur, and some on Rojava. This is how they work. They trampled laws, laws, morals.
A PATRIOT SHOULD NOT EXCHANGE ANY HONORABLE KURDISH HONOR FOR MONEY
They reach patriotic people, especially over the phones. They communicate with those who are martyrs, who are struggling, who are working, that is, who are against the Turkish state. They are trying to make themselves look cute by saying that they are creating opportunities, we will give you money, we will arrange a job for you, we will destroy you if you are guilty, we have no problems with the Kurds, we are against the PKK, if we eliminate the PKK you will feel comfortable, then we will solve the Kurdish problem. They want to confuse everyone. In other words, they want to convey the message that we are the friend of the Kurds and the enemy of the PKK. This is how they aim to drive people away from the PKK. They threaten people who do not serve them with death, and they murder some of them. They say, ‘If you do not stand up to the PKK and the guerrillas who serve them, we will eliminate you as well’. They talk to their families, they threaten, They say, ‘Bring your relatives, if you do not bring them, we will kill you too’. If they are working, they are fired, they are arrested. They are constantly putting pressure. They are waging such a special psychological warfare. Their aim is to confuse people, drive them away from the movement and use them against the Kurdish people.
Anyone who says I am Kurdish, patriotic, democrat, socialist, against fascism, and does not want to stray from human values should not get into a debate when the MIT calls them. They should even have harsh words against them and hang up. They should warn their friends and neighbors against MIT. They should say that MIT is doing such a thing and everyone should be careful about it. MIT is fooling everyone. It doesn’t just deceive, it also causes very bad things to happen. Our people should not be influenced by them and should not accept their demands. MİT can also offer many financial opportunities, a patriotic, honorable Kurdish humanity and honor should not be exchanged for money. That’s why this war waged by the MIT is a part of the genocide policy. In this way, he wants to eliminate the movement and carry out the Kurdish genocide. Every person of us should know this fact, MIT’ He must be organized against himself, he must organize everyone around him. If everyone stands up to the MIT with courage and determination, the MIT cannot find collaborators, impose spying, and commit massacres.
