BEHDINAN – PAJK Coordination Member Ayten Dêrsim answered the questions of Journalist Arjin Baysal in Medya Haber.
In her speech, PKK pioneer cadres who were martyred in June Diyar Xerîb (Helmet), Salîh Cîzre, Dr. PAJK Coordination Member Ayten Dersim, who started by commemorating all the martyrs of the revolution in the person of Hüseyin and Leyla Agirî, made the following evaluations regarding Zeynep Kınacı, who carried out a self-deprecating action in Dersim on 30 June 1996:
“The period and time when Heval Zîlan (Zeynep Kınacı) carried out her action ‘has now coincided with a repetitive war tactic. Heval Zîlan carried out his action both to nullify the plot to be applied against Leader Apo and to adopt a new tactic. In this sense, it became a leading force. Martyr Zeynep Kınacı destroyed an army alone as a one-year guerrilla. The June 30 Action showed the enemy that it is not possible to end a Kurdish woman who has become conscious, a society in contact with freedom, militants who have had their share of this freedom, and a movement that has kneaded itself in this freedom.”
Emphasizing that the AKP-MHP government, which has the same fascist mentality, was stuck in the Zagroslar during the war waged against the PKK, Ayten Dersim stated that this defeat was her last struggle and expressed that she attacked Shengal, Rojava, Maxmur and Southern Kurdistan intensely in anger. .
‘THIS MOUNTAINS ARE OUR’
Evaluating the point the PKK’s 50-year resistance has reached today, PAJK Coordination Member Ayten Dersim said, “From the first day we set off, we built and sow the belief that the Kurdish people can live freely; Today that belief blossomed and began to bear fruit. The reality of Zîlan has now become concrete and reflected in practice. Our duty is to join the resistance of our guerrilla force in the Medya Defense Zones, which bears fruit today.”
The defeat of the Turkish state in the Medya Defense Zones, “These mountains are our mountains, we are the children of these mountains. Explaining that a mercenary force, a Turkish soldier who has no fighting force left, can not take shelter in the Zagros,” Dersim recalled the footage of the conflict broadcast on Gerila TV and emphasized that the soldiers put forward by the fascist Turkish state were aimless and without ideology. Ayten Dersim, who commemorated the guerrillas who became martyrs by sacrificing “The price of freedom is heavy, but life is honorable,” he said.
‘WE SHOULD SPREAD THE WAR’
Expressing that all Kurdish people should join the revolutionary move initiated by the Kurdish Freedom Movement with the spirit of mobilization, Ayten Dêrsim said, “The Kurdish people should be inspired by the resistance of the guerrilla and add resistance to their resistance. We must ensure freedom. That’s why we should be able to spread the war to all cities. Devotion to Zîlan, becoming Zîlan, walking on the line of Zîlan are expressions of this.”
‘THEY BROKEN THE ENEMY’S GAME’
PAJK Coordination Member Ayten Dersim commemorating Filiz Yerlikaya (Gulan) and Sema Yüce (Serhildan) June Martyrs said, “Heval Gulan trained herself in the line of sacrifice of Heval Zîlan. He always had a militant stance in the face of dominant, reactionary and insufficient stances. Therefore, the orientation of the liquidator and treasonist line towards Heval Gulan was actually an orientation towards the Zîlan line.”
Sema Yüce, who spoiled this game with her high consciousness and will, despite all the pressures of the state to surrender and impose betrayal under the dungeon conditions, made the following evaluations:
“Heval Sema, with the words ‘I want to be a bridge from March 8 to March 21’, instructed us that we should vitalize and educate ourselves in the Women’s Liberation Ideology created by Leader Apo.”
Ayten Dersim also commemorated Leyla Agirî, with whom she had been a fighting comrade for many years, in the third year of her martyrdom, saying, “Heval Leyla took part in many fields. She commanded YJA Star, took her place in her first Jineology studies. She was very excited to succeed in all of them. Her stance in the women’s struggle is very clear. “She was a friend who had strong internal interrogations and deeply engaged in her own internal struggle in the women’s struggle,” she said.
‘TEACHERS WILL BE ASKED TO ACCOUNT’
Finally, Ayten Dersim touched upon the KDP, which cooperates with the fascist Turkish state against the PKK, and stressed that Southern Kurdistan and all Kurdish people should read this dirty war correctly and that resistance and struggle against the line of betrayal should be taken as a basis. Ayten Dersim stated that anyone who spies on the TR-KDP, provides intelligence, and has a hand in the spilled Kurdish blood will be held accountable, adding that this line of betrayal has never been successful in the history of the PKK struggle.
