For us, July is a month in which history is rewritten with great epic resistances. Against the fascism developed by the enemy in the Turkish dungeon in Amed 40 years ago, Mazlum Doğan first revived the fire of freedom with the historical action he developed in Newroz. As the successor of the oppressed friend, the action of the Four developed under the leadership of Ferhat Kurtay. Then, under the leadership of Mehmet Hayri Durmuş, one of the founders of the PKK, and Kemal Pir, friends started the Great Death Fast on 14 July 1982. Thus, they did not succumb to the brutality of the Turkish Republic and developed the spirit of sacrifice in the PKK and made it a line. They carried out Leader Apo’s line of resistance selflessly under very difficult conditions. They have become a hope for all progressive humanity and oppressed peoples by inheriting the spirit of resistance.
The colonial Turkish state, on April 14, 2022, from the air with 55 warplanes and dozens of SİHAs; It carried out intense attacks from land until 17 April with tanks, howitzers and long-range missiles. The invasion attack, launched from the land on the morning of April 17, is completing its third month. Today, the war and the great resistance in Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna continue in the line of sacrifice of Zîlan, with the spirit of resistance created by friends Hayri and Kemal 40 years ago in the dungeon. We respectfully commemorate all comrades who resisted along the lines of the PKK in the person of Kemal and Hayri comrades, who fought heroically and became martyrs, and reiterate our promise that we will establish the free Kurdistan they aim for with the spirit of resistance they have left.
The guerrilla, who put up a great resistance with limited means, dealt heavy blows to the enemy.
During the last three months, the guerrilla, which showed great resistance against all the brutal and despicable attacks of the Turkish army supported by NATO, under very difficult conditions, with limited means, dealt heavy blows to the enemy. The enemy suffered great losses in every hill and area he entered and was hit. A fierce war is still going on in Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna. Special forces trained by the Turkish state, all its professional military power and the most modern technique provided by NATO were not enough, it failed against the guerrilla. Kurdish betrayers and collaborators are included in this war under the name of the village guard. In addition to this, they are using the forces that are ISIS and its remnants, recruited from outside with money, and the members of the Al Nusra gang they brought from Syria in this war. Since TC suffered a great defeat against the guerrilla despite all the power and technique it used, chemical, uses phosphorus and all sorts of tactical nuclear weapons. In the face of the resistance carried out in the war tunnels, it clings to all kinds of immoral methods that would constitute war crimes, since they could not get results with the methods they used, especially with reconnaissance planes, warplanes, mortar and howitzer shooting.
Wages war of mass extermination and liquidation
TC is not alone in this war. In the last NATO meeting, it emerged more concretely that; It is an international concept for the Kurds. On the one hand, the aggravated isolation of our Leader, torture of all friends and patriots resisting in the dungeons, political genocide operations against the people, efforts to silence the free press; waging a war of mass extermination and liquidation. These facts also show that; international powers gave the green light to Erdoğan and Devlet Bahçeli gangs and paved the way for all kinds of inhuman practices. Tayyip Erdoğan, Devlet Bahçeli, Süleyman Soylu and Hulusi Akar share on the internet what was done to the funerals of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla with all inhuman methods. They shoot by smashing the corpses of the fallen guerrilla with axes and cutting them with knives. The democratic public and journalists should expose them. They should always keep this on the agenda. We are faced with the reality of the Turkish Republic, which does not even claim their own funerals, leaves them on the cliffs and bombs them with their planes. Despite all these crimes against humanity, international powers play the three monkeys and are complicit in these crimes.
The situation on the battlefield
The invasion attack first started east of the Zap. The enemy faced great difficulties in the face of the guerrilla resistances that developed here and sought a new way out;
- Expanded the invasion attack to the west of Girê Hakkarî and Zap. On the Martyr Şahin line, under the leadership of Bager and Avzem friends, heavy blows were dealt to the enemy, their bodies were left in the resistance tunnels, and the materials were removed from them. All attempts by the enemy to enter the tunnels were futile. When the enemy could not get results by using chemicals dozens of times, he wanted to break the will of the martyrs in Martyr Şahin by carrying out large explosions.
- On Hell’s Hill, a group of guerrillas met the resistance, despite their boastful special troops and all their modern techniques. The guerrilla got great results by hitting the enemy with its effective actions developed with the creative tactic of going against that power.
- A heavy blow was dealt to the soldiers who went deeper into the land in Çiyareş area. For three months, friends in Şikefta Birîndara and Karker have thwarted the enemy’s savage and despicable attacks and developed a great resistance. The enemy, who could not get any results despite using all kinds of weapons that are prohibited in the war, is trying to get results with armored buckets and vehicles in Şikefta Birîndara.
- The Werxelê Resistance has been carried out under difficult conditions for three months. The enemy in these tunnels poison gas, big explosions, burning tires at the entrance, etc. Despite using despicable methods, the friends in Werxelê are resisting. Sometimes military materials were removed from it by taking actions against the enemy who wanted to enter the tunnels. The enemy has not been able to drop this hill for 90 days, using all their means.
- As he headed towards the Çemço area, the friends who resisted here dealt heavy blows to the enemy; He also destroyed some of his armored vehicles. Clashes have been going on in this area since the beginning of the war.
- As if warplanes weren’t enough in the attacks on Kokerê, the enemy threw the bombs that were forbidden in the war, and when they failed, they used chemical weapons and poisonous gases. Serious and hand-to-hand combat took place in the Kokerê area, heavy blows were dealt to the enemy, and the enemy was repeatedly repelled here. He wants to get results by using thermobaric bombs to make himself appear successful.
Expanded the attacks to the west of the Zap
While tunnel wars were being waged on the one hand, our mobile teams in the field carried out actions with rich tactics under the enemy’s warplanes and armed and unarmed reconnaissance planes, inflicting losses on the enemy. While the enemy thought that he would achieve success in a short time and wanted to get results, when faced with such resistance, he expanded his attacks towards the west of the Zap in order to show himself successful. He was hit hard on all the hills to the west of the Zap, and he suffered serious losses. Some of their bodies are still in the cliffs.
There are still bodies waiting
Friends in Girê Amediyê captured some funerals and these bodies are still in the hands of friends. We never said that the enemy cannot come anywhere. It is the state, it has the means and receives foreign support, but it cannot enter any place it enters free of charge. Every step he takes is billed. The longer the war goes on, the more severe it will become.
In this war, our esteemed comrades became martyrs by fighting in the spirit of the July 14 Resistance and in the line of Zîlan’s sacrifice. The enemy may have come to some places, but this resistance will continue. The guerrilla is everywhere and in every field. In the mountains, in the city, on the streets, it will continue to increase the resistance everywhere. This is the necessity of our devotion to our martyred friends.”
