3-month war balance sheet from HPG: 1528 invaders punished

BEHDINAN – HPG Press Center stated the following in a written statement regarding the 3-month war balance sheet:

“The operation of the colonialist, fascist Turkish state to invade Bashure Kurdistan by attacking the Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna areas has completed its third month. The main purpose of these invasion attacks, in which thousands of occupiers were mobilized and the most advanced NATO warfare technique of the era was used unlimitedly, is undoubtedly to eliminate the phenomenon of Kurdistan and the Kurds, which scares the invaders. The colonial powers, which fear the philosophy of freedom of Kurdistan, which Leader Apo brought from the brink of genocide and turned into a resisting people again, are trying to destroy our people’s hopes for freedom by putting all their means into action.

The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, who fought selflessly in the face of inhumane and despicable attacks that had no place in the law of war, showed the necessary response to the occupation and the occupier with its unprecedented practice on the war fronts. Our guerrilla forces, which have been the self-defense force of our people from the first moment of the attacks, have put up a resistance that is rare in history and created hope of victory. Our comrades, who ran from position to position under the most difficult conditions, claimed the honor of our people and proved once again that no power can destroy the July 14 resistance spirit of the free Kurdish and Kurdistan reality created by Leader Apo.

The invading Turkish army, which bombarded the Resistance Zones tens of thousands of times with howitzers, mortars, attack helicopters and warplanes with the weapons offered by the NATO forces, behind the treacherous Kurds, could not break the resistance of our forces and faced a major tactical blockade. The invading army, which constantly expanded the scope of the invasion operation to overcome the blockage it was experiencing, was only able to land on July 4, after bombing the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area dozens of times with howitzers, mortars, attack helicopters and 17 warplanes. As a result of the rapid intervention of our forces, the invaders once again received heavy blows in the areas where they landed. Our forces went after dozens of occupier bodies and confiscated many military equipment and 2 occupier bodies as evidence. The fascist Turkish army, which tortured the guerrilla funerals by ignoring human values, wanted to destroy the evidence of their losses by bombing their own funerals dozens of times with warplanes and howitzers. Despite all the dirty efforts of the invading Turkish army, many corpses of the invaders remained under the control of our forces for days.

INVASIONS ARE USING THERMOBARIC AND PHOSPHORUS BOMBS WITH CHEMICAL WEAPONS

The invaders, who could not advance against the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, began to experience a massacre. In the face of this, the colonial Turkish army, disregarding the law of war, bombarded the battle positions in the Resistance Zones thousands of times with chemical weapons and explosives. Despite all these attacks, the invaders, who could not get results against our resisting forces, finally used prohibited thermobaric and phosphorus bombs against war positions.

Our forces carried out many effective actions with the Bazên Zagrosê and Cenga Xabûrê Martyr War Maraş Revolutionary Campaigns. Our mobile teams, which captured the spirit of the period and turned every opportunity into action, carried out many coordinated guerrilla actions by using raid, infiltration, sabotage, assassination and ambush tactics, and did not let the invaders breathe with Revolutionary Revenge Operations. The democratic modernity guerrilla of Kurdistan, which has implemented the Revolutionary People’s War Strategy during the intense three-month war, has once again proven that it is walking on the line of victory with the position and tunnel warfare style it has developed.

Combining our comrade Zîlan’s spirit of self-sacrificing attack with the Spirit of July 14 Resistance, the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla has fought without hesitation on every inch of our holy homeland and destroyed all the technical possibilities of the invaders. Hundreds of occupiers, including high-ranking officials, were punished in the actions he carried out, and many military supplies were seized by going to the funerals of dozens of occupiers. Despite the fact that the invading Turkish army mobilized its most elite special forces to get results against our guerrilla, it continued to inflict great losses.

Unsuccessful in the face of the epic resistance and selfless war style of our forces, the invaders violated the laws of international war and committed the heaviest crime by using chemical weapons as well as tactical nuclear and thermobaric bombs as explosives 1198 times.

KURDISTAN GUERILLA FOR FREEDOM IS THE GUARANTEE OF THE MARCH OF VICTORY

Although the invading Turkish army carried out hundreds of extensive attacks in Bakure Kurdistan with the participation of thousands of invaders and contras, they could not get any results. Our Freedom Guerrilla once again nullified the occupiers’ dirty plans with the effective actions it developed in Bakure Kurdistan during this period as well.

Our immortal heroes, who fought with the spirit of sacrifice until their last bullets, have set up an impenetrable barrier in front of the invaders. 72 of our comrades became martyrs in this historical resistance process led by our martyrs with great effort. The unshakable will and legacy created by our martyrs’ sacrifices will be the guarantee of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla’s sacred cause of freedom and victory march.

3 MONTHS WAR BALANCE SHEET

The balance sheet of the war between 14 April and 14 July is as follows:

The Air Defense Forces carried out 1129 guerrilla actions in the style of ambush, infiltration, raid, sabotage, assassination, heavy weapons, combat-coup, coordinated guerrilla and revolutionary operations.
