The Rojava Revolution, led by the women’s struggle under the slogan “Free Woman, Free Society”, won victories that have never been seen in the history of mankind against the most terrorist forces such as ISIS and Al-Nusra gangs. Today, with the Democratic Nation project of People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan, he is strengthening the belief in the dreams of freedom and the free future of humanity. The Rojava Revolution not only affected Kurdistan, it also had a great impact on all the peoples of the Middle East and the world. People from different countries are joining this revolution, they see their freedom and their future in the Rojava revolution.
The Rojava revolution led by Kurdish, Arab, Armenian and Syrian women has shown once again that the 21st century is the century of women’s freedom. On this basis, one of the young women from the Arab nation, who takes her place in the work and organizational activities of the revolution, spoke to our agency on the 10th anniversary of the Rojava revolution.
Shaza El-Ali, a young woman from the city of Tabqa, who is a member of the Young Women’s Union, said that the Rojava revolution played an important role in changing women and proving women’s power to the whole society. At the same time, Shaza pointed out that the year 2022 will be the year of great achievements and freedom of the People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan with the leadership of women and said; “On the 10th anniversary of the July 19 revolution, we say that the year 2022 will be the year of success with the strength and struggle of women, and at the same time it will bring great success for women. This year will be the year of freedom of Leader Apo.”
“Before the Rojava revolution, women lived a life where they were tortured.”
At the beginning of her speech, Shaza El-Ali drew attention to the difference between the situation of women before the revolution and after the revolution and started her words like this; “My name is Shaza El-Ali, I am from the city of Tabqa, I take my place in the Young Women’s Union. With the arrival of the anniversary of the Rojava revolution, I wish all the women of the world and especially the women of Syria to celebrate this holy day with the leadership of women. I congratulate the development. Women played an important role in the development of this revolution in every field. Women were able to prove themselves in this revolution and were able to overcome all the patterns imposed on them, especially by the BAIS Regime and ISIS. We, as the Young Women’s Union of Tabqa, are trying to convey the ideas of the revolution to every young woman in this city through our organization, seminars and activities. Before the revolution, women were subjected to torture. But after the establishment of the revolution, there was a big change in society in general.”
“We will continue our work until the implementation of the Democratic Nation paradigm”
Also, Shaza continued his speech and ensured the implementation of the Democratic Nation project and said; “We, as the young women of this revolution, will continue our work to increase the values of the revolution. We will show everyone through women’s struggle that women are the builders of revolutions. Until the implementation of the National Democratic Paradigm of Leader Abdullah Ocalan ideas, we will continue our work without interruption. As Leader Abdullah Ocalan says, “In order to recognize the freedom of a society, the freedom of women in this society must be recognized first.”
“We will raise our fight against the chauvinist mentality imposed on women”
Shaza continued his speech in this way; “As young women, we must continue our activities based on the principle of women’s freedom. We must raise our struggle against the chauvinistic and religious mentality that imposes a slave life on women. We want to teach everyone the role of women, women’s power, women’s will in the society. At the same time, we want to remove the pressure on women at home, on the streets and at the workplace. Women have been able to take a big step despite all the difficulties with steely will.”
‘With women’s struggle, we will lead the Rojava revolution to success’
Most recently, Shaza El-Ali drew attention to the importance of women’s struggle for the success of the revolution and the physical freedom of People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan and said; “On the 10th anniversary of the July 19 revolution, we say that the year 2022 will be the year of success with the strength and struggle of women, and at the same time it will bring great success for women. With the leadership of women, This year will be the year of Leader Apo’s freedom.”
