NEWS CENTER – On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Rojava Revolution, Members of Hêzên Ewlekariya Hundirîn in the city of Qamişlo evaluated the gains made with the Rojava Revolution.
Danî Mihemed takes his place in the management of Hêzên Ewlekariya Hundirîn. Danî Mihemed started his speech as follows;
“As the public order force, we take the defense of our people as a basis. When Hêzên Ewlekariya Hundirîn was founded in the first processes of the Rojava Revolution, our numbers were few. Of course, the public’s approach to our forces has changed. The people know us better now, they understand better why the defense forces were formed. After the public got to know us, they started to take part more in these works. Public order is developing and spreading every day. We have made great strides since the first day of the revolution. Now Asayish has a great responsibility. Preparations are being made for invasion attacks. Asayish also defends its country and intervenes directly if any other situation develops.”
“Some of the friends we worked with in the past were martyred. their martyrdom gave us great spirituality. Thanks to them, we strengthen and develop our work every day. We wish success to all our people. Finally, I would like to point out that the people and their warriors are always connected. That’s why they should always be together and fight together. What has brought the Rojava Revolution to the present day is the labor and blood of the martyrs. Let’s join forces and grow the revolution. Let’s turn our revolution into an intellectual revolution rather than a physical one.”
Media Qamishlo expressed his words as follows;
“I am working in Qamishlo Asayish. I have been working on this since 2015. When we participated in these studies, we participated because we loved our country. At the same time, we took the Leader’s ideas and philosophy as a basis for ourselves. We participated in the work on Leader Apo’s statement “Women should work” and extended the work to other fields. We didn’t know anything about the woman’s inverted history. After the revolution, we got to know the women’s freedom struggle. We did not know our history, we were only told that your history is within four walls. We thought so, and only held ourselves responsible for housework. With the trainings given after the revolution, we got to know the reality of women and saw sexist approaches. After the revolution, we felt that we were human.”
“In the early stages of the revolution, there were situations that prevented me from working. For example, families put pressure on women. Later, society understood the leading role of women in society and broke its stereotypes. After our friends were martyred, we embraced our work more tightly. In order not to leave the blood of our martyrs on the ground, we will constantly train ourselves and continue to carry out the work. After all the hard work of the leadership and martyrs, we will not leave such a revolution unclaimed. All people, and especially women, must resist on this basis. We will resist to the last drop of our blood and we will never abandon this revolution.”
