BEHDINAN – The HPG Press and Information Center stated that the guerrilla activities to salute the Revolutionary Steps of 1 June continue and said; “The activities of our forces continue to salute the 18th anniversary of the June 1st uprising. “Despite attacks by the occupying Turkish state hundreds of times with howitzers and mortars, 46 times with warplanes and 33 times with chemical weapons, our forces attacked 1 helicopter, punished 7 occupiers, wounded 3 occupiers and destroyed a base. ”
The information provided about the guerrillas’ activities is as follows;
As part of the Revolutionary Steps of the Habur War in the Metina region
- At 12.30 hours on 1 June our forces attacked the occupiers around the Free Hill Valley and hit the targets hard.
- At 21.30 hours on 1 June, our forces fired personal weapons and hand grenades at the occupiers around the battlefields of Zehid Zemani in the Hakkari Hill Resistance Area. Two occupants were punished in this action, one occupant was also injured.
- At 02.00 hours on 2 June when attack helicopters attempted to bomb the Hakkari Hill Resistance Area, our forces fired on the helicopters from two directions. The helicopter was hit hard and when it tried to leave the area, it crashed into the ground around the Resistance Area and was destroyed.
As part of the Revolutionary Steps of the Bazên Zagrosê in the Zap region;
- At 17:30 on 1 June, the occupiers wanted to cut down the trees around the walls of the Şehid înahin Resistance Square. Our forces attacked the invaders and an invader was punished.
- On 17 June at 17.20 and 22.10 hours our YJA-Star forces fired personal weapons and assassinated the occupiers around the battlefields of the Martyr Leader of the Labor Resistance Area. Here 2 invaders were punished.
- On June 1, between 14:30 and 20:00, when the occupiers tried to blow up the battle positions of the Martyrs’ Resistance in the Martyr Şahin Resistance Square, our forces fired at them twice with heavy weapons. After this intervention the invaders were forced to take a step back.
As part of the Martyr Savaş Revolutionary March in the Zap region;
- At 05:10 on 2 June, the occupiers were targeted by our half-movement teams from both sides around the battlefields of Savehid Savuşka in the Cudi Hill Resistance area. In this action in which the first and second action groups closely attacked the invaders with personal weapons and hand grenades, 2 invaders were punished, 2 invaders were wounded and a checkpoint was destroyed. After the action, the invaders withdrew a step.
Attacks by the occupying Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives;
- On June 1, the areas of Birikeftan Birindara, Karker, Şehid Berxwedan, Şehid Şahin in Zap region and the area of Werxel Resistance in Avaşin were bombed 33 times with chemical weapons and explosives.
Attacks by the occupying Turkish army with howitzers, attack helicopters and warplanes;
- On June 1, the areas of Girê Cûdî, Girê FM, Girê Bihar, Kurojahro, Şehîd Şemdin, Şehîd Tolhildan, Şehîd înahîn, Çemço and Sîda in the Zap region were attacked by helicopters, hundreds of times with obus from the border checkpoints and airstrikes. Were bombed 25 times.
- On June 1, the villages of Deşîşê, Seraro, înêdîn in the Metin region, as well as the areas of Girê Hakkarî, Girê Ortê, Serê Metina and Şehîd Zemanî were bombed by helicopters, dozens of howitzers and 17 warplanes.
- At around 10:00 on June 1, the village of Yekmal in the Gare region was bombed by warplanes.
- On June 1, the village of xanêxan in Kalatuka district of Qandil was bombed three times by warplanes.
