BEHDINAN – HPG Press Center statement is as follows:
“Our mobile teams in the Resistance Areas and our comrades resisting in the war tunnels continue to write epics with their effective actions and historical resistance. The invading Turkish army wanted to advance in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area. Our forces in the Resistance Area turned this situation into an opportunity and launched the Revolutionary Revenge Operation to avenge the children of the oppressed Kurdish people who were brutally murdered by the Turkish state in Bamernê and Shengal. During this revolutionary revenge operation, which our mobile teams developed with very skillful and intertwined tactics, not a single comrade’s nose bled, and our forces in the field successfully punished 57 invaders and taught the Turkish army a historical lesson. The attacks of the Turkish army against this area and the Revolutionary Revenge Operation of our forces in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area are still continuing. 5 invaders were punished during the actions in the Zap and Metina Resistance Areas, and our forces, which did not suffer any losses, punished a total of 62 invaders.
The invaders bombarded the Resistance Areas 14 times with warplanes, 26 times with helicopters and hundreds of times with howitzers. It also bombed the war tunnels 11 times with chemical weapons and explosives.
The details of the actions taken and the attacks made are as follows;
IN ZAP REGION;
- On June 15, at 15:30, the invaders who wanted to approach the Martyr Hewrê war tunnels in the Martyr Şahin Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons. The invaders, who were hit, retreated one step.
- At 23:20 on 15 June, at 03:00 and 04:50 on 16 June, the invaders who wanted to position themselves in the Karker Resistance Area were shot with an assassination tactic. In this action carried out by our YJA Star forces, 3 invaders were punished.
IN METINA REGION;
- On June 13, at 18:00, the invaders at the Kanî Masî military base of the Turkish army were shot with an assassination tactic and 1 invader was punished.
- On June 15, at 15:20, the invaders at the Kanî Masî military base of the Turkish army were hit with heavy weapons.
- On 16 June, while the invaders in Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were trying to advance towards the war tunnels, they were hit with heavy weapons and 1 invader was punished. After the action, the invaders who wanted to attack the war tunnels with explosives were shot again with heavy weapons. After this action, the invaders retreated one step.
A CALL TO SURVIVE INVADERS WAS MADE
- On June 15, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area wanted to advance towards the war tunnels. The invaders tried to advance by putting a counter in front of them and with his guidance. These invaders were brought under control and ambushed by our mobile teams, and a comprehensive Revolutionary Revenge Operation was launched. At 18:30, a call to “surrender” was made to the invaders by our mobile teams. Hearing the call, the invaders were shot effectively in both arms with coordinated guerrilla action while trying to escape. Our mobile teams punished many invaders here and went over the bodies of 12 invaders and clarified that they were definitely punished. The Turkish army, seeing that the invaders here were being liquidated, bombarded the area where the funerals of their own soldiers were located dozens of times with howitzers and 4 times with warplanes. The other invaders scattered over the land were targeted one by one with the assassination tactic and a total of 5 invaders were punished. The bodies of these punished invaders are under the control of our forces. After the invading Turkish army heavily bombed the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area with warplanes and helicopters at 22:30, they landed the invaders on Girê Martyr Baran and Girê Martyr Kendal with helicopters.
- On June 16, at 01:45, when a group of invaders took action in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area, our YJA Star moving teams hit these invaders with the attack tactic. 15 invaders who were shot at close range by individual and medium automatic weapons were punished and many military equipment belonging to the invaders were destroyed.
- At 03:00 on 16 June, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the war tunnels in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were hit 3 times with sabotage tactics and at least 5 invaders were punished. These invaders were later hit by a coordinated guerrilla action from three sides and 9 more invaders were punished. Our mobile teams have targeted the invaders dispersed in the field, again using the assassination tactic very skillfully, and punished 10 invaders in total. In addition, 1 assassin of the Turkish army was identified and he was punished by shooting. Many funerals of the invaders are still under the control of our forces. Again, many wounded Turkish soldiers are scattered around the field.
- It has been clarified that 57 invaders were punished in the Revolutionary Revenge Operation, which has been carried out by our mobile teams in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area since 18:30 on 15 June. However, the number of occupiers punished and injured in these actions is higher.
LOST-LOADING INVASORS ATTACK WITH CHEMICAL WEAPONS
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives;
- On June 15, at 07:30, the Martyr Zemanî war tunnels in the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were bombed twice with chemical weapons and twice with explosives.
- From 08:00 to 10:00 on 15 June, the Martyr Akîf war tunnels in the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were bombed 6 times with explosives. These invaders were shot with individual weapons and their use of explosives was interfered with.
- On June 16, at 08:00, the Martyr Zemanî war tunnels in the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were bombed once with explosives. These invaders were intervened by our forces and the invaders retreated one step.
AIR ATTACKS
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with howitzers, attack helicopters and warplanes;
- From 07:00 to 13:00 on 15 June, drone activity was observed over the Kurojahro Resistance Area.
- On June 15, at 17:30, the area where our civilian population was in the Sinînê strait in the Xakurkê region was bombed with howitzers.
- Martyr Heqî and Ava Lolanê, Girê Amediyê, Girê Hakkarî and Werxelê Resistance Areas in the Xakurkê region were bombed with howitzers on 15 and 16 June.
- On 15 and 16 June, the Girê Ortê, Girê Amediyê and Girê Cûdî Resistance Areas and the villages of Dêcit and Çemrobotki in the Garê region were bombed 14 times by planes.
- Girê Cûdî, Werxelê, Kunîşka, Kurojahro, Şikefta Birîndara and Karker Resistance Areas were bombed 26 times with helicopters on 15 and 16 June.”
