BEHDİNAN – PKK Executive Committee commemorated Diyar Xerîb and Zeynep Kınacı on the occasion of the anniversary of their martyrdom, Ferhad Şibî, who was martyred in the SİHA attack, and all the martyrs of the Zap, Avaşîn and Metina resistance, in the person of Martyr Berxwedan Immortals, in a written statement. The committee also congratulated the HPG and YJA-Star guerrillas who “buried the AKP-MHP fascism in Zap”.
Saying, “The heroic strikes of the guerrilla in every field, from Werxelê to Kurojahro, from Çiyayê Reş to Tepe Cûdî, from Tepe FM to Tepe Hakkari, are burying AKP-MHP fascism in Kurdistan,” the Committee united everyone around the guerrilla resistance. He urged the Move of the Year to develop stronger in all areas.
The statement made by the PKK Executive Committee to the “patriotic Kurdish people and democratic forces” is as follows:
We will further develop our struggle with revolutionary vengeance.
“We are celebrating the third anniversary of the murder of Comrade Helmet (Diyar Xerîb), the valiant son of our people of Bashurê Kurdistan, a member of the PKK Central Committee and the KCK General Presidency Council, by the Turkish state and Kurdish collaborationism. On the third anniversary of his martyrdom, we commemorate Comrade Helmet with deep respect, love and gratitude. We demanded an account of Comrade Helmet, one of the fascist-genocidal killers, and all our heroic martyrs, with the revolutionary people’s war resistance we have developed as a movement and people for three years. In the fourth year, we will further develop our revolutionary struggle for revenge and hold the murderers of the Kurdish people more accountable.
Apoist line revolutionary
Comrade Helmet saw the danger posed by the collaborator-traitor forces in terms of Kurdish existence and freedom in the mid-1990s and at a very young age, and found the right line with a remedy in Leader Apo and the PKK. On this basis, he joined the PKK without the slightest hesitation and received Leadership training. Afterwards, he was involved in all kinds of activities in four parts of Kurdistan. He served as a fighter and commander in the guerrilla for a long time. Başure led the efforts for the development of democratic politics in Kurdistan. Deepening in the Apoist line, he participated in the training activities of hundreds of revolutionary militants. With his versatile personality, he became the successful and complete revolutionary of the Apoist line. Bashur’s leading militants, Martyr Dr. He became the companion of Sîrvan and Martyr Viyan.
Always joined ahead
Comrade Helmet had no hesitation in waging a struggle by uniting around Leader Apo against the international conspiracy, which is a difficult process. With his conscious, faithful, determined and humble stance, he rushed wherever there was a task, and undertook whatever task had to be carried out. He was always ready to take on any task and responsibility. He never made a distinction between field and duty. It has always been at the forefront of the PKK’s rebuilding efforts on the basis of paradigm shifts and the struggle against international conspiracy.
Comrade Helmet has always believed in the unity and integrity of Kurdistan. With his deep awareness of history, he correctly recognized the enemies of the Kurdish people and Kurdistan and never stopped fighting against them. On this basis, he always considered the struggle against the colonialist-genocidal mentality and politics, and the struggle against collaboration and betrayal, together, and saw them intertwined. Thus, the KDP has always been against collaborationism. With this understanding and stance, he represented the right libertarian and democratic line in Bashure Kurdistan.
The only right way and attitude is the Martyr Helmet line.
Comrade Helmet’s stance and struggle against the Turkish Genocide and Kurdish collaboration illuminates our day more than ever. Başûrê represents the right revolutionary and patriotic attitude, liberal and democratic stance in Kurdistan. In an environment where AKP-MHP fascism is trying to occupy the most strategic areas of Bashure Kurdistan and KDP collaboration is supporting this, the only correct way and attitude is the Martyr Helmet line. Therefore, it is more necessary than ever to understand the truth of Martyr Helmet and to apply it successfully.
It is on this basis that we commemorate and understand Comrade Helmet on the third anniversary of his martyrdom. We try to fulfill our duties and responsibilities on this basis. We believe that our people, young people, women, intellectuals and politicians, especially in Bashure Kurdistan, will also understand and embrace their patriotic duties. As a result of this, we believe that they will unite with the HPG and YJA-Star guerrillas, who are resisting heroically against the AKP-MHP gangs and collaborationism that are trying to occupy the Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna areas from Heftanîn to Xakurkê, and will resist for freedom. On this basis, we call on our patriotic people of Basure Kurdistan, especially the youth and women, to understand the truth of Martyr Helmet correctly and to actively fight against the Turkish invasion and Kurdish collaboration!”

June 30 is our Day of Sacrifice as a movement and as a people. It is the 26th anniversary of the historical action and martyrdom of Comrade Zîlan, our Goddess of Freedom. Ferhat Dêrik is the pioneer of the Rojava Revolution
Dear son of our people in Rojava Kurdistan, pioneer and laborer of the 19 July 2012 Revolution, North-East Syria Autonomous Administration Executive Council Co-Chairman Ferhat Derik (Ferhad Şiblî), on 17 April, in Keller city of Bashurê Kurdistan, as a result of the air attack by the fascist-genocidal AKP-MHP administration. he was brutally murdered. His body was buried in Martyr Xebat Derik Cemetery with a great ceremony attended by tens of thousands of people. The peoples of North-East Syria, especially the Kurds, duly took care of their revolutionary leader, Ferhat Derik.
Ferhat Dêrik was a self-employed people’s militant who was fighting for freedom and democracy along the Zilan line. He dedicated his life to the freedom and democracy struggle of the people of Kurdistan. As a consistent revolutionary and patriot, he undertook and successfully carried out all kinds of tasks. He was a true people’s leader and warrior. July 19, 2012 He was the pioneer and true worker of the Rojava Freedom Revolution and the ten-year construction of a free life. He undertook and successfully carried out the heaviest tasks in helping the peoples of Northern and Eastern Syria organize along the democratic nation line and achieve a fraternal life. The name Ferhat Derik has almost become synonymous with the Rojava Freedom Revolution and the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North-East Syria.
This is why the anti-Kurdish AKP-MHP fascist administration targeted Ferhat Derik in the first place and murdered him with a cowardly attack. It is clear that this attack is not separate from the genocidal attacks against our people in Bakure Kurdistan, especially in Imrali. It is not different from the invasion and destruction attacks directed against the guerrilla in Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna. Maxmur is not separate from the attacks on the people in Shengal and Rojava, and the occupation of Afrin and Serêkaniyê.
The anti-Kurdish, fascist-genocidal Turkish state thinks that by murdering Ferhat Dêrik, it can prevent the Rojava Freedom Revolution and scare the peoples of North-East Syria from a democratic autonomous life. But he saw how wrong he was at the magnificent funeral ceremony. We believe that the peoples of North-East Syria will further develop and perpetuate this stance, and avenge the Ferhat Derik massacre by developing and strengthening the democratic nation-building and self-defense in North and East Syria, and making it the basis of a Democratic Syria.
On this basis, we commemorate Ferhat Dêrik, Vice President of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North-East Syria, with respect and gratitude, and share the pain of all peoples of North-East Syria, especially the Kurds.
The heroic strikes of the guerrilla bury AKP-MHP fascism in Kurdistan
Our heroic guerrilla forces all over Kurdistan, especially Zap, Avaşîn and Metina, are dealing blow after blow against AKP-MHP fascism. The revolutionary resistance of our HPG and YJA-Star forces reached its peak in June Sacrifice Month. So much so that neither NATO and KDP support can save the AKP-MHP fascism locked in the Zap, nor can its war crimes get it out of the swamp. From Werxelê to Kurojahro, from Çiyayê Reş to Tepe Cûdî, from Tepe FM to Tepe Hakkari, the guerrilla’s heroic strikes are burying AKP-MHP fascism in Kurdistan.
It is clear that our heroic guerrilla resistance in every field, especially in Zap, Avaşîn and Metina, is on the Zilan Fedai Line. It is clearly seen how the self-sacrificing guerrilla is an invincible force, the creator and pioneer of all victories. Despite using all kinds of techniques and forbidden weapons, the AKP-MHP fascist gangs were unable to break the resistance of the four self-deprecating guerrillas in the Martyr Berxwedan War Posts for 48 days, and eventually these four guerrillas dealt a fatal blow to the invading forces with an action in Zilan, and the HPG Press and Contact Center announced that they were martyred.
On this basis, we congratulate the HPG and YJA-Star guerrillas who once again buried AKP-MHP fascism in Zap and wish them continued success. We commemorate all the heroic martyrs of the Zap, Avaşîn and Metina Resistance, with respect, love and gratitude, to the comrades and persons of Bager Gever, Avzem Çiya, Arîn Kobanê and Şerzan Hıngırvan, the immortal bodyguards of the Martyr Berxwedan War Posts. We call on all of our people, especially the youth and women, to unite around the heroic guerrilla resistance and develop our 50th anniversary move stronger in every field!”
