BEHDINAN – The PKK Executive Committee statement read as follows:
“As the Kurdistan Freedom Movement and the Kurdish people, we are experiencing a new month of sacrifice. June is our month of sacrifice. It is the month of Zilan, Sema and Gulan who swore revenge against the attack on Leader Apo. The month of Martyr Helmet (Diyar Xerip), the valiant son of our people of Bashûrê Kurdistan, the leading militant, the symbol of Kurdish patriotism and unity. The month of the realization of the sacrificial revolutionary militancy that succeeds in the Apoist line. On this basis, we congratulate all comrades and our people on this month of sacrifice and commemorate all our heroic martyrs in the person of comrades Zilan and Helmet with respect and gratitude.
This June, as a movement and as a people, we are waging a heroic struggle in the sacrificial line of the Zilan’s, Sema’s, Gulan’s and Helmet’s. We are developing our Dem Dema Azadiyêye move aiming for the physical freedom of Leader Apo in every field and on the line of victory. Our heroic guerrilla forces are leading this sacred resistance for freedom by striking devastating blows against AKP-MHP fascism in all areas of Kurdistan and Turkey, especially in Zap, Avaşin and Metina. Our patriotic people and democratic friends, led by women and youth, are protesting against AKP-MHP fascism in four parts of Kurdistan and all over the world.
It is clear that the AKP-MHP fascism, which has suffered heavy blows in the face of the guerrilla resistance in Zap, Avaşin and Metina, is trying to plot new games and beg for help from everyone in order to prevent its collapse. On the one hand, it commits war crimes by using chemical weapons against the guerrilla, while on the other hand it attacks the people and democratic political forces. When these are not enough, it is looking for the opportunity to carry out an invasion attack on North-East Syria by begging for more help from NATO and Russia. In order to prolong its lifespan, the government has failed to achieve results in Zap, and is seeking new attacks that will give it a cheap victory.
RESISTANCE WILL SAVE ALL HUMANITY FROM THE SCOURGE OF AKP-MHP
But no matter what it does, it is no longer possible for the AKP-MHP fascism to save itself and survive. Zap and all of Kurdistan has become a real grave for the AKP-MHP fascist-genocidal mentality and politics. Our heroic guerrilla and popular resistance, led by the historic Imrali Resistance, has started the process of burying the Kurdish enemy fascist-genocidal mentality and politics in Kurdistan. Undoubtedly, this great resistance will continue uninterruptedly and will save all humanity from this AKP-MHP scourge, which is an extension of ISIS and Al-Qaeda, by continuing to strike the AKP-MHP fascism.
On this basis, we salute our women and people who sacrificed in the Zilan line and heroically resisted for freedom.
We salute all the heroic commanders and fighters of the HPG and YJA-Star who wrote epics in Kurojahro, Şikefta Birindara, Werxelê, Çiyayê Reş, Tepe Cudi and Tepe Hakkari, all over Kurdistan, striking deadly blows against AKP-MHP fascism, and congratulate their success. We express our belief that they will win new and greater victories every day. We commemorate with respect, love and gratitude all our heroic martyrs who became immortal by fighting in the Zilan fedai line.
WE SALUTE OUR PEOPLE AND FRIENDS WHO SHOUT FOR THE PHYSICAL FREEDOM OF LEADER APO
We salute all those who braved all kinds of difficulties and dangers to take to the roads of Gemlik for the physical freedom of Leader Apo, our patriotic people and democratic friends who filled the streets and squares in the four parts of Kurdistan, Europe and all over the world, shouting for the physical freedom of Leader Apo, and we express our wishes for success.
We agree with this historic call of Komalên Ciwan, which calls for mobilization by saying ‘Werin Cenga Azadiyê’, and on this basis, we salute the Kurdish youth who run to the guerrilla and develop the resistance for freedom in every field, and all the internationalist revolutionary youth who never let the torch of revolution fall from their hands. Victory will always be for the youth who sacrifice without blinking an eye in the Apoist line.
We have foiled the games of the anti-Kurdish, fascist-genocidal mentality and politics until now, and we will foil them from now on. We have broken the occupation and genocidal attacks so far, and we will break them from now on. We have so far held collaborationism and betrayal to account, and we will hold them to account from now on. As long as fascism, colonialism, occupation, genocide, collaborationism and betrayal exist, our historic struggle for freedom and democracy will also exist and will always continue on the line of victory. Our heroic guerrilla forces will successfully fulfill their historic duty of demanding accountability and implementing justice. Our guerrilla-led popular resistance will surely triumph by breaking the Imrali isolation and overthrowing AKP-MHP fascism.
On this basis, we once again commemorate our heroic martyrs with respect and gratitude; Zap, Avaşin and Metina led by our guerrilla war in every area of Kurdistan and Turkey will develop more strongly; We call on all our people and friends, especially women and youth, to develop the struggle to break the Imrali isolation and overthrow AKP-MHP fascism more strongly in every field!”
