BEHDINAN – In a written statement, the PKK Solidarity with Families Committee announced that Salih Cizîr (Hasan Adır), who “knows how to be one of the maintainers of Botan’s ancient culture”, was martyred on 5 June 2021; “We offer our condolences to all our patriotic people, especially our esteemed Adır family,” he said.
PKK Solidarity with Families of Martyrs Committee made the following statement:
“The Kurdistan Freedom Struggle, which has made progress with the Leader’s march that has continued uninterruptedly for 50 years, has entered a historical stage today with the epic resistance of our heroic guerrilla in Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna. Responding to the attacks of the invading fascist Turkish state under all conditions, the invading army and collaborator traitors, choked up in the face of the Kurdistan freedom guerrilla, are putting into effect all kinds of practices, especially chemical weapons. However, they cannot cross the lines of resistance that our immortal martyrs have formed with their lives. The fact of martyrdom in the Kurdistan freedom struggle expresses such a truth that every soul that ensures an endless meeting with the land every day is increasing the doors to free tomorrows, and the invading genocidal Turkish state is leaving the fascist AKP-MHP government’s enthusiasm in their crops. That’s why they are brutally attacking everywhere, dropping bombs on every inch of Kurdistan’s land. But we believe that our struggle will achieve a decisive victory in the path shown by our heroic martyrs.
FROM BOTAN’S SUSTAINERS OF ANCIENT CULTURE
The fact of martyrdom of the PKK expresses an army consisting of the most distinguished sons of our people. We see the wisest person in history, the clearest state of being a moral individual, and the sharpest level of will and courage in the PKK martyrdom. Those who meet in the ranks of the PKK against the corrupting, corrupting and degenerating lifestyle of capitalist modernity are those who have managed to become hope for the salvation of human values. Martyrs are the practical pioneers of breaking up the genocide imposed on our people. We owe our days to their resistance, to their high self-sacrificing spirit. A STRONG ORGANIZER
Salih Cizîr Heval opened his eyes to life as the child of a patriotic family in Cizre in 1962. When the Kurdistan freedom struggle develops under the leadership of the PKK, heval Salih is also affected by it. Salih Heval, who received vocational training on carpentry, opens a workshop in the center of Cizre. Heval Salih, who is the father of four children, became associated with the Kurdistan Freedom Movement in 1986. From the very first moment, he participates in studies with great faith and determination, and does not hesitate to create the conditions for self-education. Heval Salih, who learned the ideas of Leader Apo by reading the party publications Serxwebûn and Berxwedan, understood the reality of Kurdistan and the enemy more. His brother Martyr Çekdar joined the party in late 1986. Heval Salih, on the other hand, began to actively participate in the struggle when Martyr Bêrîvan and Martyr Baran came to Cizre in the spring of 1988. He was arrested by the fascist Turkish state in June 1988, following the testimony of a confessor. Salih Heval, who was imprisoned for 1 year, makes this process the reason for participating more actively in the struggle. He continues his work when he is released. It takes its place as a powerful organizer in the rising public serhildans in 1990. He is taken into custody again on Newroz. Salih Heval, who was subjected to intense torture, went to Germany in 1991.
WORKED IN MANY PLACES IN EUROPE
He has a successful practice in many different studies in Europe for a long time. He succeeds in being the focus of his studies with his high belief in freedom and commitment to the country in every field he goes to. He becomes someone who can be trusted with his enthusiasm and determination and who organizes his life around him. For this reason, it is also the target of attacks in Germany. He was arrested twice by the German state and spent about five years in prison. He always wants to return to the country, to continue his struggle on the ground of the country. However, this wish does not come true for a long time. Taking part in most of the social field studies in Europe, it leads the way for the values created by the Kurdistan freedom struggle to reach the people. In the latest KOMAW (Association of Families of Lost and Martyrs) studies, collecting data on the distinguished children of our people who were martyred in the struggle for freedom, becomes the owner of a selfless effort to keep the memories of the martyrs alive. Organizing the meeting of families around values and being in close contact with the families of martyrs is of great importance for heval Salih. On this basis, it leads the organization of work in many parts of Europe. In 2015, he goes to Kurdistan, which will also be his final resting place, to the country he longs for.
EXAMPLE OF GREAT DECOMMITMENT TO THE PEOPLE
Salih Heval, who attended a training session at PKK Sakine Cansız Ocağı in 2016, defines this process as the most effective stage of his development. It is based on a deeper understanding of the Leadership paradigm in the intense educational environment in which she lives, and putting forward with practice that having a sharper attitude on the line of women’s freedom is only possible with the internalization of Leader Apo’s philosophy on the right basis. He considers enjoying every detail of guerrilla life as a great excitement. Salih Heval, who devoted his life to the freedom struggle of his people, continues his struggle to serve his people in Maxmur, of which he is a part and the majority of the Botan people, who had to migrate due to the oppression of the Turkish state. An incalculable participation in the line of Leader Apo throughout his life, Our comrade Salih Cizîr, who is an example of high faith and determination, was martyred as a result of the air attack carried out by the invading Turkish state while continuing to serve his people with great devotion in Maxmur on June 5, 2021. Once again, we commemorate all the martyrs of the revolution in the person of Heval Salih with respect and gratitude, and we promise that the invading Turkish state and its treacherous collaborators will definitely be held to account.”
