NEWS CENTER – In the statement published with the title “Martyrs are the practical pioneers of shattering the genocide imposed on our people”, it was stated as follows:
“The Kurdistan Freedom Struggle, which has been developing with the uninterrupted march of the Leadership for 50 years, has entered a historical stage today with the epic resistance of our heroic guerrillas in Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna. The occupying army and collaborator traitors, who are blocked in the face of the Kurdistan freedom guerrilla, which responds to the attacks of the occupying fascist Turkish state under all conditions, are putting all kinds of practices into action, especially chemical weapons. However, they cannot overcome the lines of resistance formed by the lives of our immortal martyrs. The reality of martyrdom in the Kurdistan freedom struggle expresses such a truth that every day, each of our souls, which ensures the eternal meeting with the earth, increases the doors to a free tomorrow, and the occupying genocidal Turkish state frustrates the ambitions of the fascist AKP-MHP government. That is why they are brutally attacking everywhere, raining bombs on every inch of Kurdistan. But we believe that our struggle will definitely reach victory on the path shown by our heroic martyrs.
MARTYRS ARE THE PRACTICED PIONEERS OF DISMANTLING GENOCIDE
The fact of PKK martyrdom refers to an army of the most distinguished sons of our people. In the reality of PKK martyrdom we see the wisest people history has ever witnessed, the purest form of being a moral individual, the sharpest level of will and courage. Those who meet in the ranks of the PKK against the decaying, corrupting and degenerating way of life of capitalist modernity are those who succeed in becoming the hope for the salvation of human values. Martyrs are the practiced vanguard of breaking the genocide imposed on our people. We owe our present to their resistance and the high spirit of sacrifice they showed. While renewing our promise to realize our every moment under their command, we commemorate comrade Hüseyin Akdağ (Selman Bozkur), one of the distinguished sons of Êlih, with respect and gratitude on the anniversary of his martyrdom, and we express our condolences to all our patriotic people, especially the precious Bozkur family.
LIKE A DERVISH, HE DEVOTED HIMSELF TO HIS PEOPLE
Our comrade Hüseyin Akdağ was born in 1972 in Hezo district of Êlih, in a family environment committed to his country and social values. Growing up in Amed, heval Hüseyin had a close circle of people who took part in the struggle and were martyred. In 1992, when the PKK struggle was growing in influence day by day, heval Hüseyin was studying at the Faculty of Medicine at Dicle University. Heval Hüseyin, who became involved in the freedom struggle during his student years, took his place in the ranks of the struggle in Amed in 1992. Until 1995, he successfully carried out front work. Heval Hüseyin, who took part in organizing work in the metropolises of Turkey, devoted himself to the freedom struggle of his people like a dervish from the moment he stepped on the path of freedom, reaching everywhere and putting the smallest opportunity at the service of the struggle. In 1996, he participated in a period of training in the field of the Leadership. Receiving the deep consciousness of waging a more effective struggle, striking lethal blows against the enemy, deepening the Apoist militant line and spreading the liberation war all over Kurdistan from Leader Apo’s trainings, heval Hüseyin developed a successful guerrilla practice in Zap, Garê, Zagros, Xinêre and Southern areas.
HE PARTICIPATED IN EVERY WORK WITH LOVE
Our comrade Hüseyin, who managed to become one of the distinguished members of the Kurdistan freedom struggle, managed to create great opportunities for the realization of the revolution with his effective leadership in popular work. Humble, strong in his stance towards life, deep in his comradeship, successful in becoming a comrade in the women’s liberation line and with a high understanding of the ideology of the Leadership, Huseyin heval adopts the principle of success in every field and work he is involved in. Our valuable comrade, who has a high sense of responsibility, has participated in every work of the Kurdistan freedom struggle with great love, and has known how to be a militant of doing great things until the last moment. Heval Hüseyin, who based his philosophy of ‘a morsel and a cardigan’, which is one of the basic principles of the ideology of the leadership and of being an Apoist sacrificial militant, on applying it in every aspect of his life, has set a strong example of representing the PKK pioneering qualities in his personality. He left a legacy of great devotion and resistance by combining the Apoist militant measures that recognize no other option but success with the endless enthusiasm of guerrilla life.
A WARRIOR LOCKED IN VICTORY
By embodying the reality of PKK education in his practice with the principle of ‘know thyself’, he became someone from whom his comrades drew strength in the fields of struggle. Our comrade Hüseyin, who is a strong comrade, a committed militant, a fighter locked on victory in the reality of a non-stop struggle, joined the caravan of immortals as a result of the air attack carried out by the occupying Turkish state on June 5, 2021 while on duty in the Media Defense Areas.
