BEHDÎNAN – The HPG Press Liaison Center shared the following details about the war in the Media Defense Areas:
“In the actions carried out by our forces resisting in mobile teams and war tunnels, 9 invaders were punished, 3 invaders were wounded and 1 drone was destroyed. The occupying Turkish army bombed the Resistance Areas 21 times with chemical weapons and explosives, 18 times with warplanes and 12 times with helicopters.
The details of the actions and attacks are as follows;
IN THE METÎNA REGION;
- On June 11 at 07:30, the invaders in Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted and shot with assassination tactics and 1 invader was punished.
- On June 11 at 22:00, helicopters that wanted to land in Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were intervened.
- On June 11, the invaders who bombed the Girê Şehîd Zemanî war tunnels in Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area with explosives were targeted and struck with sabotage tactics.
ZAP REGION;
- On June 11, in the morning hours, the invaders who wanted to advance in Dola Şîvê, connected to the Çiyareş Resistance Area, were effectively hit. In the fierce clashes here, at least 3 invaders were punished, 1 invader was wounded and 1 drone was destroyed. Information about these clashes will be shared as it becomes clearer.
- On June 11 at 15:30, our forces intervened against helicopters flying over Karker Resistance Area. After the intervention, the helicopters had to move away from the area.
- On June 11 at 14:00, the invaders who wanted to advance in the Karker Resistance Area were targeted and shot with sabotage tactics. 4 invaders were punished, 2 invaders were wounded and the other invaders scattered in panic. The invaders scattered in the field were once again hit by sabotage tactics and 1 more invader was punished.
OCCUPATION ATTACKS
Attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives;
- On June 11, Girê Şehîd Zemanî and Girê Şehîd Akîf war tunnels in Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were bombed 11 times with explosives.
- On June 11, Şehîd Hewrê war tunnels in Şehîd Şahîn Resistance Area were bombed 10 times with chemical weapons.
Attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish army with howitzers, attack helicopters and warplanes;
- On June 11, Çemço, Sîda, Girê Amediyê, Girê Cûdî, Girê Hakkarî and Werxelê Resistance Areas were bombarded with howitzers fired from border outposts.
- On June 11 and 12, fighter jets bombed the surroundings of Şiyê and Gûzê villages in Garê region and Girê Amediyê, Saca, Sîda, Çemço, Girê Ortê, Girê Cûdî and Werxelê Resistance Areas 18 times.
- On June 11, Girê FM, Girê Cûdî and Kurojahro Resistance Areas were bombed 12 times by attack helicopters.”
