SINJAR – On June 15, a 12-year-old Yazidi boy was martyred and seven others were wounded, some of them seriously, in the attack of the genocidal Turkish state with armed reconnaissance planes against the Sinune People’s Assembly in Sinjar. Immediately after the attack, the statement of the Sinjar Democratic People’s Assembly was published and the people of Sinjar reacted. Both in the statement of the People’s Assembly and in other statements given to the press, it was explained that in this latest attack, those who gave instant information to the colonialist Turkish state and had the People’s Assembly shot were people who were affiliated with the KDP and who had betrayed Yazidism.
These statements naturally drew everyone’s attention to these structures and individuals within the Yazidi community. Who and why are they betraying this ancient faith that has been under the sword of 73 edicts for thousands of years? Do these people and circles have any real connection to Yazidism or Shengal? Undoubtedly, the answer to these questions is crucial for the existence and freedom of the Êzidî community, which has been subjected to severe attacks.
THE MINIATURE OF THE BARZANI DYNASTY IN SHENGAL
Like a murderer visiting the scene of a murder, while the Sinûnê People’s Assembly was still in flames, Haydar Şeşo, who marketed himself as the commander of the Êzidxan forces, made some statements about the attack. In fact, with his speeches, he unintentionally confessed how and for what purposes the Sinûnê attack was carried out. In a way, he said that he had a direct connection with this attack. The Sheşo family in Sinjar is actually like a miniature of the Barzani dynasty. What the Barzani family is to the Kurds, the Shiso family is to the Yazidi community.
Just as the Barzani family pawns off Kurdistan, the Kurdish people and all its values to the colonialist and genocidal Turkish state for their family interests and dynasty, and engages in all kinds of betrayal and servitude, the Shesho family plays a similar role and mission in the Yazidi community. They, too, do not hesitate to enter into relationships based on betrayal and cooperation with everyone for the sake of family interests. It is known that the relations between the Barzani family and the Sheşo family date back to the 1970s. These relations, which developed starting in the 1970s, tied the Shesho family to the Barzanis and the Shesho family became the Barzanis’ hands and feet, eyes and ears in the Yazidi community.
COMMISSIONED TO COMPLETE THE YAZIDI GENOCIDE
In 2014, the KDP and the colonialist genocidal Turkish state, which aimed to carry out the genocide of the Yazidis through ISIS gangs, prevented the genocide with the intervention of the HPG guerrillas, and when Shengal and the Yazidi community began to be liberated step by step, this time they went to war to complete the Yazidi genocide openly. The Shesholar family, which is affiliated with the KDP, was thus actively involved or was put into action. Since then, the Sheshos have been very active in the genocidal war against the Yazidi community, together with the KDP and the Turkish state.
ORGANIZING A NETWORK OF AGENTS
In addition to his special war policies in many areas, Haydar Şeşo organizes a network of agents through his spy-intelligence activities. In this sense, Haydar Shesho is the special war coordinator of the KDP and the Turkish state in Sinjar, he was given such a task. Every time Turkish warplanes or reconnaissance planes hit Sinjar, Haydar Shesho makes statements to the press. When we look at the content of these statements in the press, it is very clear that he has been given the task of being the special war coordinator in Sinjar by the KDP and the Turkish MIT. He himself declares this with his statements. From the martyrdom of Mam Zeki, Ş. Zerdeşt, Saîd Hesen, Dijwar Feqîr and many other Yazidi pioneers to the shooting of Sinûnê People’s Assembly, it is the KDP and Haydar Şeşo who gave the intelligence of these attacks, selected targets and had them shot by the Turkish state.
They have a hand in all the genocidal attacks of the colonialist Turkish state against the Yazidis and they are partners in the Yazidi genocide. It is time to take a clear and active stance against this treasonous line. Every Yazidi who is loyal to his/her land and faith should support and participate in the fight of the democratic autonomous administration of Sinjar to protect its existence and ensure its freedom, and hold the KDP and the betrayers to account. This is the right of all Yazidis, as well as their historical and social duty and responsibility. Êzidîs can only ensure their existence and freedom through the struggle against the treasonous-collaborative line, there is no other way left for the Êzidî community.
