AMED – Fascist leader Tayyip Erdoğan took pity on Tansu Çillers, who was appointed for the genocide against the Kurds in the 1990s. In the 1990s, JİTEM, known as the “death machine” for thousands of unsolved murders, was replaced by the “Hançer Team,” made up of gangs close to the state and now reporting directly to War Minister Hulusi Akar.
Qileban gang leader Mehmet Paksoy, known by the code name Miho Rapinî or Miho Apoci, who was previously the head of the Hançs er Team, was convicted on August 31, 2017. The Hançs er Team, which fell out of the public agenda after the punishment of the gang leader, came to the fore again when they were used in the Turkish Republic’s attacks in the Medya Defense Areas.
Zübeyir Babat, the brother of Sêgirkê gang leader Hazım Babat, who participated in many dark events, was appointed as the head of the Hançer team. Zübeyir Babat was previously the leader of the Sêgirkê guard gang. After the son of the gang leader Hazım Babat, Mesut Babat, was appointed as Zübeyir Babat’s successor, this time Zübeyir Babat was appointed as the leader of the Hançer team and formed his own team.
These gangs, specially trained by the state, are used in cooperation with the fascist Turkish Republic and the KDP in attacks on the Medya defense areas. Dressed in guerrilla clothes, these gangs torture people in Kurdistan and are driven into the war tunnels (see pictures).
This gang group, which is directly linked to the Minister of War, fascist Hulusi Akar, and is led by Zübeyir Babat, includes 22 people, including Mehmet Sabri Benek, Hacı Benek, İhsan Kenanoğlu, Edip Babat, Süleyman Bilen and Lokman Benek.
