NEWS CENTER– A delegation of 12 European journalists and academics visited the Kongra Star office in Sulaymaniyah, South Kurdistan. The delegation was welcomed by Kongra Star’s representative in the Kurdistan Region, Lêman Şiwêş, and members of the board of directors, Silava Silêman and Dilvîn Ehmed.
Participants discussed the situation in West Kurdistan and North and East Syria, the political, administrative, social, diplomatic and military achievements that women have made under the auspices of the Congress Star.
Members of the Kongra Star delegation also explained the system, methods and objectives of Kongra Star.
The meeting also discussed the threats posed by the occupying Turkish state and how to defeat these threats and attacks. The members of the delegation assured that they will develop their relations in support of the Revolution in West Kurdistan. 26 internationalists from different countries of the world wanted to go to North and East Syria, under the auspices of the International Working Brigades but the PDK did not allow it.
