MUNICH – Yesterday, six police vehicles burned down in Munich. So far, no one has claimed responsibility for the arson attack, but the police assume a connection to the G7 summit taking place and are investigating the “left-wing” spectrum.

The news portal “Die Franken” states:

“Shortly before the G7 summit, eight police cars went up in flames in Munich. The team buses of the federal riot police suddenly caught fire. The vehicles were all parked early Wednesday morning (June 22, 2022) in front of a hotel where emergency forces for the G7 summit were housed, as a spokesman for the Munich police told the German Press Agency.”

After the arson attack, police began searching for possible perpetrators on with helicopters, but the search was unsuccessful.

“Manipulations and graffiti before G7 summit” is called, as it is not the first action has taken place in connection with the imperialist gathering at Schloss Elmau, which will begin on Sunday. Despite the considerable security precautions that the police claim to have taken, tampering with power distribution boxes within the security perimeter around the meeting site was detected on Tuesday, as well as various writings directed against the G7 imperialist summit.

The G7 summit is planned from next Sunday to Tuesday at the now hermetically sealed Elmau Castle near Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Heads of state and government of the USA, Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Japan and Canada will meet there under the leadership of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD).
