BEHDÎNAN – In the daily reports of the press center of the HPG, the guerrilla of the freedom of Kurdistan informs the public about the actions and attacks of the guerrilla and the bombing and violations of martial law by the Turkish occupying soldiers. While the state media of the fascist AKP-MHP government want to mislead the public with false news, the HPG tries to publish only reliable information and statements that they can also prove.
Today’s statement from the press center of the HPG states:
“The actions of the Kurdistan freedom guerrilla fighting with self-sacrificing spirit in the face of the Turkish colonial army’s invasion operation to welcome June 30, as a result of the measures taken, have punished 12 occupiers, destroyed 1 position and confiscated 1 laser scope. The war tunnels in the resistance areas were bombed by the invaders 16 times with chemical weapons and explosives and 6 times with warplanes.
The details of the actions and attacks performed are as follows;
As part of the revolutionary offensive Cenga XabûreŞehîd Savaş Maraş;
- At 13:30 on June 25, the invaders who were going towards the Girê Şehid Zemanî war tunnels in the Girê Hakkarî resistance area were spotted by our forces and came under heavy fire. After 30 minutes of fighting, the occupiers had to retreat. Here 1 laser telescope belonging to the occupiers was confiscated by our armed forces. On the same day, at 5:00 p.m., the occupiers who had started to move were hit with heavy weapons.
- At 12:15 on June 25, the invaders were attacked and hit in Girê Şehid Çekdar, part of the Girê Cûdî resistance area. As a result of the effective hits, the occupiers scattered in panic.
- At 19:20 on June 25, the occupiers around the Girê Şehid Akîf war tunnels in the Girê Hakkarî resistance area were attacked and fired upon by our semi-mobile teams using the tactic of infiltration from two directions. First action arm; Effectively hit the position where 4 occupiers were located by targeting them with hand grenades and individual weapons. Here 4 occupiers were punished and 1 position destroyed. The second action arm targeted a group of occupiers, fired at them at point-blank range, and punished 3 occupiers.
- At 19:00 on June 25, the occupiers around the Girê FM resistance area were attacked five times using sniper tactics and five occupiers were punished.
- At 19:20 on June 25, the invaders in Girê Şehid Çekdar were met and defeated by our forces.
Attacks by the occupying Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives;
- On June 25, the Girê Şehid Akîf and Şehid Zemanî wartime tunnels in the Girê Hakkarî resistance area were bombed four times with explosives.
- On June 25, the Şehid Yunus war tunnels in the Girê Cûdî resistance area were bombed twelve times with chemical weapons and explosives.
Attacks by the Turkish occupying army with howitzers, attack helicopters and fighter planes;
- On June 25, the Girê Hakkarî area of Metîna was bombed with howitzers.
- On June 25, the Girê Amiye and Gire Bihar areas in the Zap region were bombed six times by warplanes.”
