BEHDÎNAN – HPG Press Liaison Center stated the following regarding the guerrillas martyred in Kurojahro area of Zap:
“Kurojahro Resistance Area has been one of the areas where the relentless and historical resistance against the invasion attacks of the Turkish state has continued uninterruptedly. In Kurojahro Resistance Area, fierce clashes took place between Kurojahro Resistance fighters and invaders on May 23. In these clashes, the invaders suffered heavy losses and our comrade Rojbîn sacrificially went against the enemy and fought the enemy until her last breath and reached martyrdom. Between May 23-25, the Turkish army again attacked the positions and tunnels in the Kurojahro Resistance Area using chemical weapons. In the chemical weapons attacks between May 23-25, our comrades Binevş, Çiya, Beritan, Ronî and Devran were martyred.
Our comrades Binevş, Rojbîn, Çiya, Beritan, Ronî and Devran, the most distinguished sons of our people, each of whom are pioneering commanders and sacrifices, reached martyrdom by fighting without hesitation for days in the most relentless conditions for the defense of Kurdistan, the freedom and honor of our people. They became the truth of the fact that the Apoist tradition of resistance will never be compromised at any cost and the honor of their people. We promise that we will definitely crown this legacy created by our comrades with their noble stance with victory.
We extend our condolences to all the patriotic people of Kurdistan and especially to the families of our comrades Binevş, Rojbîn, Çiya, Beritan, Ronî and Devran.

BINEVŞ AGAL
Our comrade Binevş was born in the Wêranşar district of Riha, originally from Mêrdîn and a member of a very patriotic family. As soon as she opened her eyes to the world, she was introduced to the Turkish state’s genocide policy and persecution of the Kurdish people. Her grandfather Abdulrahman Ata was martyred unsolved in 1990, her uncle Comrade Welat Ata was martyred in the 1990s and her other uncle Comrade Mehmet Şirin Ata was martyred in the ranks of the PKK in 1993. The Turkish state both murdered, imprisoned and exiled family members. Comrade Binevsh’s father was also imprisoned for years. Although Comrade Binevş was a successful student in Turkish state schools, she dropped out of school and joined revolutionary youth activities because she saw that there was no place for free and honorable Kurds in the Turkish state system. As a young Kurdish woman, she actively worked in youth activities, increased self-defense efforts, and was instrumental in many Kurdish youth joining the guerrilla ranks.
She was detained and briefly arrested by the Turkish state. However, no pressure of the Turkish state could turn our comrade Binevş from her path, and her hatred and anger against the enemy grew even more with the patriotic culture she received from her family. In 2014, our comrade Binevş took to the mountains of Kurdistan and joined the guerrilla ranks in Botan to take revenge on the colonialist genocidal Turkish state. She took the name Binevş Agal with her deep consciousness of struggle and her attachment to the history of Kurdistan. Since she knew the Apoist ideology and PKK life, she integrated with the guerrilla life early on. She carried out practical activities in the Besta area and learned the most basic guerrilla lessons from comrade Rûken Hoserî, one of our immortal commanders who was martyred in Cizîra Botan. Comrade Binevş, whose heart was filled with the joy of life and the love of freedom, made early progress with her sharp intelligence and inquisitive personality. In addition to her development in terms of free life, she studied military specialization in Besta in order to master the art of war and became a professional sniper.
Comrade Binevsh, who always set an example to her comrades with her stance and courage, also took part in demonstrations. In the spring of 2016, she was wounded in an airstrike in Besta and five of her comrades were martyred by her side. After this incident, her anger towards the enemy increased even more, she quickly dressed her wounds to avenge her comrades and returned to her duty. In the fall of 2016, our comrade Binevş, who moved to the Media Defense Areas in the fall of 2016, received training at the Mahsum Korkmaz Academy in 2017 and graduated as one of the new term commanders. She took part in special work in our central institutions that required great trust and sensitivity, and successfully fulfilled all her responsibilities. She was devoted to Kurojahro, her last duty station, with great love, where she made great efforts with his comrades and prepared the infrastructure for the war that inflicted great losses on the invaders.
Our comrade Binevş, who fought and commanded her comrades for days with her great courage and absolute belief in victory during the Turkish army’s invasion attack on Kurojahro, has gone down in the history of our struggle as a heroic Kurdish woman who lived up to her name. Desperate in the face of the resistance of Binevsh Agal and her comrades, the cowardly Turkish army used chemical weapons to martyr our comrades. Our comrade Binevsh’s participation, stance, courage, command and love of free life will always guide us and be our reason for revenge and victory.

ROJBÎN AGIRÎ SERHED
Our comrade Rojbîn was born in Agirî as a member of a family originally from Geliyê Zilan. The colonialist Turkish state’s brutal massacre of thousands of our people in Geliyê Zilan caused the family of our comrade Rojbîn to feel great anger towards the Turkish state. From an early age, our comrade Rojbîn listened to the stories of the Geliyê Zilan massacre from her family and engraved the true face of the enemy into her subconscious. Being born into such a valuable family with martyrs and participants in the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle had a profound effect on our comrade Rojbîn’s walk of life. In her youth years, she had the opportunity to see and recognize the enemy perception that had previously settled in her subconscious more concretely. It was not difficult for our comrade Rojbîn to understand that the philosophy of the occupying Turkish state, which is based on the denial of the Kurds, continues today, albeit in different forms. She saw this reality more clearly, especially in system schools. Again, the anger she felt against the enemy’s efforts to see women in the second place or to diminish women in society, which developed as a result of the false perception of honor developed by the enemy on the basis of destroying Kurdish sociality, caused our comrade Rojbîn to engage in some searches. In addition to the contradictions she was experiencing, our comrade Rojbîn became involved in youth activities due to the fact that the freedom struggle of our people was becoming more and more burning day by day. In the youth activities she took part in for a while, she was instrumental in raising the consciousness of dozens of Kurdish youth and helping them join the ranks of the struggle. But even though she carried out a successful work, she could not restrain her passion for freedom. With the belief that the Kurdistan Freedom Movement, which he was not far from, could be the answer to his searches, the contradictions she experienced and her passion for freedom, she left the university in 2013 and joined the guerrilla ranks. After joining the guerrilla ranks, she started to improve herself after the basic training she received. Especially mountain life caused our comrade Rojbîn to find herself again. At a time when she was just beginning to understand the language of the mountains and to integrate with mother nature, when ISIS fascism, which descended on our country Kurdistan like a dark cloud, attacked Shengal and Kobanê, she moved to Kobanê to protect the gains of our people from the mountains she was passionately attached to. She fought heroically against ISIS gangs in Kobanê and was wounded. Despite this,s he did not compromise on the freedom struggle and insistently offered to fight on the front lines. She took part in many activities in Rojava until the defeat of ISIS gangs. In every work she took part in, she managed to be an exemplary militant with her high tempo and disciplined working style. Our comrade Rojbîn, who set an example to all her comrades in this respect, returned to the mountains of Kurdistan and met with mother nature. Comrade Rojbîn, a militarily competent guerrilla, received ideological training for a while and deepened herself in the PKK and PAJK line. Our comrade Rojbîn, who moved to the Zap area against the attacks launched by the occupying Turkish state against the Medya Defense Areas, took part in many actions here and dealt heavy blows to the enemy. Our comrade Rojbîn, who welcomed the attacks launched by the occupying Turkish state against Zap in the Kurojahro area, took part in many actions against the enemy. On May 23-25, she fought hand-to-hand with the enemy and punished many invaders. In the fierce clashes that took place, our comrade Rojbîn, who fought sacrificially until her last breath, reached martyrdom. We promise that we will keep the memory of our comrade Rojbîn, who has a stance equal to the historical mission of Kurdish women against enemy occupation, alive in our struggle.

ÇIYA AMED
Our comrade Çiya was born in a patriotic family in the Beşîrî district of Êlih. When he was young, she migrated with her family to the metropolises of Turkey and grew up there. Although she did not grow up in Kurdistan, she remained loyal to her social culture. She managed to live on her own labor and stand on her own feet. In order to fulfill her curiosity about Kurdistan and her love for the country, she studied economics at university and went to Amed. She was very curious about Amed, the capital of Kurdistan, and it was in Amed that she got to know the reality of Kurdistan. In Amed, she recognized and brought to consciousness both the reality of the Kurdish people and the reality of the enemy. She considered this process as a process of self-knowledge. Our comrade Çiya, who was in search of the path that would lead her to freedom, recognized the Apoist ideology and the freedom movement. Our comrade Çiya, whose quest for freedom is great, understands that the way to become a free woman is to put the ideology of women’s liberation into practice and to fight on this basis. In 2015, she joined the guerrilla ranks out of anger at the massacre at the Ankara Train Station carried out by the fascist AKP-MHP regime and a sense of revenge for this massacre.
She started her first guerrilla practice in the Medya Defense Areas and carried out practical activities in the Heftanîn area for five years. She became devoted to the Heftanîn area, where she experienced many firsts, gained experience and martyred many of her comrades. In the mountains of Kurdistan, she recreates herself with the Apoist ideology and gains an important level in the women’s liberation line. She studied at the military specialization academy in order to develop in the guerrillas of democratic modernity and to respond to the process. She successfully completed her academy education and graduated as an expert saboteur. She moves to the Zap area to put into practice what she learned at the academy. Our comrade Çiya, who participated in many actions and activities here, won the love of all his comrades with his emotional personality, sincerity and sincerity.
In Kurojahro, her last duty station, he struck heavy blows against the occupying Turkish army under the leadership of our valiant commander Mizgîn Ronahî. Our comrade Çiya, who had a great effort in the organization and infrastructure of the resistance in Kurojahro Resistance Area, also played an active role in the war process. Our comrade Çiya, who stopped the invaders, struck blow after blow to the fascists with her great courage, defended the land of Kurdistan and the honor of the Kurdish people, joined the army of immortal martyrs as a heroic and free Kurdish woman. Our comrade Beritan was born in the patriotic city of Sinê in Rojhilatê Kurdistan. The personality of our comrade Beritan, who grew up with the attachment of the Rojhilat people to their identity, culture and land, has gained a patriotic character. As a child of a people thirsting for freedom and a young Kurdish woman, she embarked on a serious quest for freedom. She read and researched in order to achieve freedom both as a woman and to win the social freedom of her people. Comrade Beritan, who is a very intelligent woman, has learned three different languages in addition to the three dialects of Kurdish. Although she was a successful student, she learned that freedom cannot be achieved in state schools. Although she was involved in different Kurdish organizations for a while, she realized that all social freedoms, especially women’s freedom, pass through Leader Apo’s Democratic, Ecological and Women’s Liberationist paradigm. When she recognized the Apoist ideology and paradigm, she joined the guerrilla ranks on the holy Newroz day of 2017.
Our comrade Beritan, who joined the PKK on a Newroz day, was reborn in a new and free life. The valiant and heroic commander of the Kurdish people is named after our comrade Beritan (Gülnaz Karataş). Just like Beritan, the commander she was named after, she quickly became practical, developed and took on tasks. She both deepens in Apoist ideology, becomes competent in the measures of freedom as a free Kurdish woman, and develops herself in military art. She trained to become an assassin at the military specialization academy and completed it successfully. In 2018, she moved to the Zap area to put her training into practice. For four years, she fulfills all kinds of work and tasks in the Zap area with great enthusiasm and love. He pours his sweat on every inch of Zap soil and gains his greatest experiences in life and war in Zap. He quickly assimilates the new YJA Star command line and takes part in mobile teams. He participates in actions against the occupation attacks of the colonialist genocidal Turkish state and impresses with his great courage. In the battle in Kurojahro Resistance Area, which went down in the history of the heroism of the people of Kurdistan, she fought for days under the most difficult conditions and dealt heavy blows to the invaders. As a result of the cowardly use of chemical weapons by the cowardly Turkish army, he reached martyrdom together with 4 comrades.

Our comrade Ronî was born in Hatay as a member of the patriotic Özgüç family, one of thousands of our families who had to migrate from Kurdistan due to enemy oppression. Being born thousands of kilometers away from her country was not enough to break her ties with Kurdistan. Our comrade Ronî, whose uncle was also martyred in the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle, chose the ranks of struggle both to protect his uncle’s legacy of resistance and to eliminate the danger of genocide faced by our people. On this basis, our comrade Ronî, who took part in youth work for a while, joined the guerrilla ranks in 2015 when the enemy attacks were the most intense. Our comrade Ronî, who received his new fighter training in the Zap area, then moved to the Cîlo region. After practicing in the Cîlo area for a short time, he participated in the move to liberate Sinjar from ISIS gangs. He became an exemplary Apoist militant with his courage and bravery during the intense war process. He gained great experience in military tactics and became a commander in the war for freedom against ISIS gangs. After the clearing of Sinjar from the gangs, he successfully ended his duty there and returned to the free mountains of Kurdistan. Our comrade Ronî, who returned to the Zap area, where he started his guerrilla career, this time as a pioneering commander, made a great effort to fulfill this mission successfully. Our comrade Ronî, loved and respected by his comrades for his self-sacrificing personality, was one of our comrades who wove the historical resistance against the invasion attacks against Zap. Since 2018, he has led many actions against the invaders in the Zap area with his experience and made the enemy regret setting foot in the Zap area. In 2021, he successfully applied the new era guerrilla tactics in the Bazên Zagrosê Movement, which was developed in 2021, and led the resistance. Again, against the invasion attacks launched by the enemy since April this year, it turned the Kurojahro area into a fortress of resistance and caused the enemy to suffer heavy blows. Our comrade Ronî, like his other 4 comrades, reached martyrdom as a result of the dishonorable chemical attack of the invading Turkish army after a valiant resistance.

Our comrade Devran was born in Riha. Like many honorable Kurdish youth, our comrade Devran, whose family and environment were patriotic, did not remain insensitive to the problem of existence of our people. He was aware of the colonial status of our people and never digested it. For this reason, he was always angry at the enemy and looked for an outlet for struggle. As a result of these searches, he chose the right method of struggle for our people by joining the guerrilla ranks in 2019. With this exit, our comrade Devran showed the most correct method of struggle to thousands of Kurdish youth who were looking for a method of struggle under enemy oppression. After joining the guerrilla, our comrade Devran, who adapted to guerrilla life in a short time with his concise and clean personality, developed himself militarily, taking into account the intense war reality we live in. He had no difficulty in catching up with the tactics and style of the new era of guerrillaism, and in this sense he succeeded in becoming an exemplary Democratic Modernity Guerrilla. After the trainings he received, he constantly suggested going to hot battlefields and moved to the Zap area. He became a beloved friend thanks to his sincere comradeship in every environment in the Zap area. Our comrade Devran, who succeeded in becoming an exemplary Apoist militant with his honest, calculating and sincere participation, demonstrated a successful practice in many areas of Zap. He has been a source of strength and morale for all his comrades with his determined stance against the enemy’s invasion attacks since 2021, and has successfully fulfilled his leadership role by participating in many actions. In the Kurojahro area, where he was last in Kurojahro, despite all the inhuman tendencies of the enemy, he did not compromise his Apoist will and fought with all his being to defeat the enemy at all costs. Desperate in the face of the historic resistance of our comrades, including our comrade Devran, the occupying Turkish army used chemical weapons again, as they always do. We promise that we will be a good comrade of our comrade Devran, who reached martyrdom after the chemical weapons attack, and that we will definitely realize his dreams.”
