“The epic and historical heroic struggle of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla continues. Those who create epics and write glorious history are our heroic comrades who have reached martyrdom. Thanks to our valiant martyrs, we struggle, resist, strike blows against the raging enemy and advance to victory. Just as we owe every success in our half-century-long history of struggle to our leadership and martyrs, today we fight with the awareness that we owe the same successes to the heroic struggle of our leadership, martyrs and our people. Our comrades Cesur, Baran and Mazlum, who fought on this basis, reached martyrdom on May 3 and 13. These comrades, who fought against the invaders with great sacrifice from the day the invasion attacks began, succeeded in becoming the leading commanders and militants of the historic Zap resistance. We pledge to increase the struggle until we achieve the goals of our comrades Cesur, Baran and Mazlum, who set an example for us comrades with their courage on the battlefield as well as their stance in life.
We express our condolences to the families of our comrades and to the patriotic people of Kurdistan whose hearts beat with the guerrilla.

CESUR TEKOŞER
Our brave comrade was born into a patriotic family belonging to the Pinyanîş tribe, one of the deep-rooted tribes of Kurdistan. The fact that the Colemêrg region, where he was born and raised, was one of the important centers of patriotism caused our comrade Cesur to get to know the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle at an early age. The fact that the enemy made large military masses and made our people of Colemêrg feel that they were a colonized people at every moment of their lives caused our comrade Cesur, like every Kurdish youth, to feel deep anger against the enemy. The enemy oppression and the epic resistance of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas against this oppression affected our comrade Cesur. With the strength he received from the guerrilla, he believed that he should participate in the freedom struggle of our people and became involved in youth work. He had a successful practice in youth work for many years with his excitement, enthusiasm and diligence. He instilled spirit, courage and consciousness in the youth and enabled them to actively participate in the freedom struggle of our people. At the same time, he organized the self-defense work of the youth to protect the moral and cultural values of our people. Although our brave comrade achieved important gains for our people with his work, he saw his struggle as incomplete. Believing that to be worthy of our leadership and martyred comrades and to fight more effectively against the enemy, he joined the guerrilla ranks in 2015. He started his guerrilla life in the Avaşîn area and spent most of it in the Zap area. Our comrade Cesur, who moved to Zap in 2016, one of the years when the violent attacks of the occupying Turkish state began, took it as a basis to improve himself in military art in order to respond to enemy attacks. For this, he learned to use many weapons and improved himself in guerrilla tactics and style. By participating in many actions in the Zap area, he held the enemy to account for the massacres committed against our people. He gained great experience in the actions he participated in and became a pioneering commander who mastered the practice of war. Our comrade Cesur, based on our leadership’s determination that “The action of the one whose thought is not ours cannot be ours”, has endeavored to become a pioneering Apoist militant by developing himself in the philosophy of the Leadership. Our comrade Cesur, who was loved by his comrades for his honesty and hardworking personality, worked in many areas in Zap. Our comrade Cesur, who was in a sense the memory of Zap, gained more strength with the memories of his comrades with whom he worked and who were martyred, and took it as a basis to protect his spirituality with the philosophy of the Leadership and the memories of his martyred comrades. Our comrade Cesur, who was aware of the historical responsibility he assumed against the enemy attacks against the Zap area, developed many actions by going against the enemy soldiers with a great desire for revenge, commanded his comrades and led the process. As the commander of the region, he struck heavy blows to the invaders many times with surprise actions that the enemy did not expect, causing them to disperse, and managed to become one of the master practitioners of the new era of guerrillaism with his hawkish war style.

BARAN KOBANÊ
Our comrade Baran was born in a patriotic family in Afrin, which is an example with its honorable stance against the enemy and its persistence in resistance. Influenced by the patriotism of his environment and the revolutionary environment created by the Rojava Freedom Revolution, our comrade Baran took part in revolutionary work for a long time. Our comrade Baran, who worked in many fields, played a great role especially in the war against the gangs and the occupying Turkish state. Our comrade Baran, who always preferred to be at the forefront in the battlefield, gained great experience during the war process. Before joining the revolutionary struggle, he followed the epic struggle of the guerrilla against the occupying Turkish state and always dreamed of becoming a guerrilla. He had a great persistence to realize this dream and in this sense, he took an exemplary militancy as a basis. After joining the ranks of the guerrilla, he maintained this militant stance and managed to have a practice that corresponds to his pioneering mission as a Kurdistan guerrilla. Our comrade Baran, who wanted to put his previous military experience into practice on the battlefield against the Turkish occupation, moved to the Zap area in 2021. In the difficult practice of the Zap area, he succeeded in every work he was involved in with his laborer characteristic and led his comrades. He intervened in the attacks launched by the enemy against the Media Defense Areas with a high Apoist spirit and ensured that the invaders were hit at the very beginning. Our comrade Baran, who is based on the professional application of semi-mobile team warfare, one of the new period tactics of the guerrilla, has carried out successful actions against the enemy many times with this tactic. Our comrade Baran, who set the deepening in the philosophy of the leadership as his primary goal, struggled and succeeded based on the fact that ideological stance is directly linked to the measures of rejection and acceptance in life. Our comrade Baran, who empowered his comrades with his enthusiasm and moral participation until the moment he was martyred and frustrated the attacks of the invaders, will continue to be the pioneer of our struggle with his martyrdom.

MAZLUM AMED
Our comrade Mazlum Amed was born in the Hezro district of Amed, the capital of Kurdistan. He grew up in a patriotic family belonging to the Badikî tribe, getting to know the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle. Thanks to his patriotic feelings and his personality shaped by the ancient culture of Kurdish society, he gained a character that is loyal to his country, his people and his values. Our comrade Mazlum, who made a living by working with his labor in society, was not limited to his own life, he felt the suffering of his people in his heart and realized his social duties. On this basis, he tried to protect his patriotic duties, but for a while he did not find this sufficient and decided to join the Rojava Freedom Revolution, which he was very impressed by. Participating in the revolutionary process, breathing the air of revolution and being a fighter of it brought great happiness to our comrade Mazlum. The more he experienced the joy of fighting for his people, creating value and liberating Kurdistan, the more he fought. He participated in many actions and moves with high courage and great attacking spirit. Although he was wounded in the arm, foot and head, he never gave up and always returned to his duty as soon as he recovered. After successfully fulfilling many tasks in the ranks of the Rojava Freedom Revolution, he decided to reach the mountains of Kurdistan, which he had always longed for, and join the ranks of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla. When he reached the guerrilla ranks of his dream, he immediately started practicing with great enthusiasm and happiness. He put the experiences he gained in Rojava into practice in the mountains of Kurdistan and fought with great courage in the struggle for the existence and freedom of his people. Our comrade Mazlum, who adapted to mountain life early on and managed to become the commander of the period, joined the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Movement with great love and enthusiasm. He took part in many actions and struck blows against the occupiers. In the invasion attack that started in 2022 against the Zap area, he resisted the enemy, put up a strong resistance and struck great blows. On May 3, he put up an epic resistance in the clashes and heroically achieved martyrdom. Just as our comrade Mazlum showed the right path of struggle to all Kurdish youth, especially in Amed, he left us, his comrades, a great legacy of struggle and the instruction to realize their goals.
We reiterate our promise to raise the sacred flag of struggle of our martyrs, to keep their memories alive and to be worthy of the martyrs.”
