“Our comrades Cumali, Tolhildan and Hawar, who were among the first mobile teams that took action against the enemy in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area of Zap, where the enemy continued to expand its invasion attacks, struck heavy blows to the enemy in the first moments of the attack. Just like in other resistance areas of Zap, these comrades, who determined that the resistance in Girê Cûdî Resistance Area would be sacrificial, gave the start of the Martyr War Maraş Revolutionary Move. We reiterate once again that we will carry the struggles of our comrades Cumali, Tolhildan and Hawar to victory with determination.

CUMALİ DEVRAN
Our comrade Cumali was born in Adana as a member of a family originally from Suruç. Since his family was patriotic, he had the opportunity to get to know the Kurdistan Freedom Movement from his childhood. Comrade Cumali grew up listening to the life stories of the PKK’s leading cadres, woven with resistance, and he wanted to have such an honorable life himself. The sacrificial resistance of these heroic martyrs against the enemy despite all the difficulties deeply affected Comrade Cumali. He believed that the conditions of slavery experienced by the people of Kurdistan could only be ended with a radical struggle, and for this he thought that the guerrilla struggle should be further expanded. Comrade Cumali, who in no way accepted the way of life imposed on him and our people by the enemy, decided to come to the mountains of Kurdistan, the source of human, common, equal and free life, like every honorable Kurdish youth. Comrade Cumali, who joined the guerrilla ranks in 2015, one of the most intense years of war in our country Kurdistan, quickly adapted to guerrilla life thanks to his sharp intelligence. In order to contribute more to the intensive war process, he has made himself militarily competent. After joining the guerrilla ranks, he researched the life and struggle stories of our sacrificial comrades, especially our sacrificial commander Zilan, and spent every moment concentrating on having a sacrificial stance like them. In her research, she was especially deeply affected by the life and struggle of Comrade Sara-Sakine Cansız. In the person of Comrade Sara, she better understood the struggle and stance of Kurdish women against the occupation, and for this reason, she made a great effort to be a good comrade of her female comrades. After a long practice of fighting against ISIS gangs, Comrade Cumali moved to the Metîna area, where he assumed the role of team commander and successfully fulfilled this duty. In 2021, our comrade Cumali, who was influenced by the months-long epic resistance of our sacrifice commander Comrade Cumali Çorum, who was martyred in the invasion attacks launched by the occupying Turkish state against the Media Defense Areas, especially Avaşîn, switched to Hêzên Taybet (special forces) and took the name Cumali. Comrade Cumali, an Apoist militant with a sacrificial spirit, attacked the enemy in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area on May 26, 2022, when the invasion attacks continued with increasing dimensions. Comrade Cumali, who participated in many actions where dozens of invaders were punished, became an exemplary Apoist militant with his high attack spirit. Our comrade Cumali has made it a reality in his personality that martyrs are immortal in the reality of the PKK, that one Cumali turns into thousands. We, as his comrades, will further grow the struggle that our comrade Cumali handed over to us and teach the invaders the biggest lesson in history.

TOLHILDAN KARKER
Our comrade Tolhildan was born in a patriotic family in Mêrdîn. But he grew up in Amed because his family migrated to Amed. Comrade Tolhildan, who met the enemy reality in Amed, felt a deep anger against the enemy. After studying in system schools for a certain period of time, he went to Turkish metropolises to contribute to the livelihood of his family, where he had the opportunity to better understand the life that the enemy inflicted on our people. Deciding that this enemy reality, which does not accept any status other than slavery for our people, must be fought against, he became involved in youth work. After starting to work, our comrade Tolhildan, who had the opportunity to get to know his own reality more, succeeded in raising awareness of the enemy’s assimilation and genocide policies against the Kurdish people. Our comrade Tolhildan, who was deeply affected by the martyrdom of his uncle, comrade Cuma Ewênî, our Mêrdîn provincial commander who was martyred in 2018, decided to join the guerrilla ranks at the Amed Newroz in 2019.
Comrade Tolhildan, who highly values comradeship, has succeeded in becoming an exemplary militant with his pure, clean and honest participation in life. Our comrade Tolhildan, who deepened in Apoist philosophy, developed himself day by day and gradually expanded his world of meaning. Knowing that the PKK would take revenge on the enemy under all circumstances, our comrade Tolhildan managed to transform his anger against the enemy into a sharp struggle. Our comrade Tolhildan, who deepened himself in the Apoist ideology day by day, took it as a basis to transform the sacrifice, which constitutes the essence of the PKK, into a lifestyle. He realized the need for a sacrificial struggle against the ongoing enemy oppression against our people in Kurdistan, and in this sense, he switched to Hêzên Taybet (special forces) to be the successor of the Agîds, Zilans, Doğans and Zinars. After the trainings he received, our comrade Tolhildan, who deepened even more in fedayeen, took part in the first guerrilla team that intervened against the attacks launched by the enemy against the Girê Cudî area on April 25 and dealt heavy blows to the enemy. Comrade Tolhildan, who went to the enemy with a sacrificial style, managed to be one of the best examples of Apoist militancy by fighting until his last breath.

HAWAR QAMIŞLO
Our comrade Hawar was born in a patriotic family in Qamişlo, the center of the Rojava Freedom Revolution. Our comrade Hawar, who lived his youth years in the atmosphere of the Rojava Freedom Revolution, was deeply affected by the gains revealed by the Rojava Freedom Revolution, which developed with the philosophy of Leader Apo. He believed that he, as a Kurdish youth, should also take part in this revolution, and for this, he first got involved in youth work. He started to understand the philosophy of Leader Apo better in the activities he took part in. Comrade Hawar, who grew up with the epics of guerrilla resistance since his childhood, joined the guerrilla ranks in 2016, which was his dream. Although he experienced physical difficulties at first in mountain life, these difficulties never discouraged him, on the contrary, he has always been in a struggle to create an Apoist personality that always overcomes difficulties. After joining the ranks of freedom, he made great progress in a very short time, assumed the position of team commander and successfully fulfilled this duty. In order to become a professional guerrilla, he underwent specialized training, which he completed with great success and became one of our comrades who played an active role in practice. Our comrade Hawar has always been committed to comradeship in life and war; he has always had a self-sacrificing, laboring, brave and warrior spirit. He has always taken a sacrificial participation and stance as a basis and successfully completed his role in every field and work. Our comrade Hawar, who refused to accept the isolation imposed on our leadership and walked in the footsteps of his sacrificial comrades who united around the leadership, has always participated in the life of struggle on this basis. Comrade Hawar, who joined Hêzên Taybet (special forces), continued to exhibit a strong and sacrificial participation in order to feel closer to our Leadership. He took action against the enemy’s invasion attacks against the Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna areas and participated in the Martyr War Maraş Revolutionary Movement without hesitation. In this context, he fought heroically and joined the caravan of martyrs.
We promise that we will take revenge for our sacrificial comrades Cumali, Tolhildan, Hawars and all our revolutionary martyrs who pioneered us with their lives, stances and fights, and that we will protect the values they hold dear and realize their dreams. We express our condolences to all our patriotic Kurdistan people, especially to their precious patriotic families.”
