BEHDÎNAN – The press center of the People’s Defense Units HPG announces that 21 occupiers were punished in effective actions of the guerrillas of the freedom of Kurdistan.
The written statement by the HPG states:
“The actions of our armed forces to welcome Fedai Day on June 30 continue. As a result of these actions, 21 occupiers were fined and 1 military tent was destroyed. The war tunnels in the resistance zones were bombed by the invaders 34 times with chemical weapons and explosives, 21 times with helicopters, 22 times with airplanes and dozens of howitzers.
The details of the actions performed and the attacks performed are as follows;
In the Avaşîn region as part of the Bazên Zagrosê revolutionary offensive;
- On June 24, at 14:45, the occupiers moving in the Werxelê area were hit by our armed forces with heavy weapons. After the action, the occupiers withdrew a step.
- On June 24 at 14:30, the occupiers around the Werxelê resistance area were attacked using a murder tactic and 1 occupier was punished.
In the Zap region as part of the Bazên Zagrosê revolutionary offensive;
- At 00:20 on June 25, the Skorsky helicopter attempting to enter the Kurojahro resistance area was attacked by our forces and shot down. The hit helicopter had to leave the area.
- On June 24 at 13:50 the occupiers around the war tunnels in the Girê Karker resistance area were attacked using sabotage tactics and at least two occupiers were punished.
As part of the revolutionary offensive Cenga Xabûre Şehîd Savaş Maraş;
- At 10:00 on June 24, the occupiers who had gathered around the Şehid Zemani wartime tunnels were hit by our forces with heavy weapons. At 12:00 on the same day, a group of occupiers traveling around Girê Şehîd Akîf in the Girê Hakkarî resistance area were attacked by our forces using sniper tactics and 1 occupier was punished. Other occupiers were hit by our forces with individual weapons. After the action, the occupiers had to step back and take their losses with them.
- On June 24 at 12:00, the occupiers around Girê Şehid Zemanî in the Girê Hakkarî resistance area were attacked by our YJA Star forces and hit with heavy weapons.
- On June 24, between 2:40 and 3:30 p.m., our forces fired first with sabotage and then with individual weapons at the invaders who wanted to advance towards the fighting positions of the Şehid Çekdar in the Girê Cûdî resistance area. As a result of these actions, at least 3 occupiers were punished. On the same day, the occupiers around the battle positions were sniped 5 times by our YJA Star Forces, and 5 occupiers were punished.
- On June 24 at 21:14 the occupiers in the Girê FM resistance area were fired upon using sniper tactics and 1 occupier was punished.
- On June 24 at 18:00, the outpost of the occupying Turkish army at Kanî Masî was attacked by our forces with heavy weapons and was effectively hit. As a result of accurate hits by our forces, 8 occupiers were fined and 1 military tent was destroyed.
Attacks by the occupying Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives;
- On June 24, the area around the war tunnels of Şehid Akîf in the Girê Hakkarî resistance area was bombed four times with explosives.
- On June 24, the Şehid Çekdar, Şehid Yıldız and Şehid Yunus wartime tunnels in the Girê Cûdî resistance area were bombed 13 times with chemical weapons and explosives.
- On June 24, the Werxelê resistance area in Avaşîn was bombed four times with chemical weapons.
- On June 24, the Şikefta Birîndara and Karker resistance areas in the Zap region were bombed 13 times with chemical weapons and explosives.
Attacks by the occupying Turkish army with howitzers, combat helicopters and combat aircraft;
- Between June 23 and 25, Girê Hakkari in the Metîna region was bombed with howitzers fired from the border police stations.
- On June 24, the Girê Hakkarî area of Metîna was bombed seven times by warplanes.
- On June 24, Girê Bihar and Girê Amiye, affiliated with Zap, were bombed twice by warplanes.
- On June 24, the Werxelê resistance area was bombed with howitzers from the border police stations and five times with helicopter gunships.
- On June 24, Kurojahro, Şikefta Birîndara, Saca, Girê Mamreş, Girê Şehîd Harûn, Karker, Çemço and Koker areas in Zap region were bombed dozens of times by howitzers fired from border police stations, 16 times by attack helicopters and 13 times with fighter planes.”
