“On February 11, 2022, our comrades Ronî, Mazlum and Qendîl were martyred in the attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army in the Heftanîn area. We promise that we will continue our struggle relentlessly until we realize the dreams of these heroic comrades, who are exemplary Apoist militants with their hardworking, sincere and honest participation in the guerrilla ranks they joined for the freedom of our people.
We extend our condolences to the families of our comrades Ronî, Mazlum and Qendîl and to all the patriotic people of Kurdistan.

RONÎ ARBABA
Our comrade Ronî was born in Bane, Rojhilatê Kurdistan. Our comrade Ronî, whose family was patriotic, grew up with revolutionary feelings in Rojhilatê Kurdistan and his Kurdish consciousness was always at the forefront. He followed the freedom struggles of our people in Rojhilatê Kurdistan as well as the ongoing freedom struggles in other parts of Kurdistan, and in this sense, he made the borders drawn by the enemy meaningless. The fact that our martyred comrades, especially our great commander Simko Serhildan, were guerrillas all over Kurdistan for the freedom of our people influenced Comrade Ronî. For this reason, as a freedom guerrilla himself, he wanted to be a guerrilla in many areas of our country, especially in Bakurê Kurdistan. On this basis, our comrade Ronî, who joined the guerrilla ranks in 2016, moved to the Heftanîn area after receiving his first guerrilla training and practicing for a while. In the Heftanîn area, he attracted attention with his laborer personality and became a competent guerrilla in a short time. Our comrade Ronî, who had a self-sacrificing personality, measured only success in every work he took part in. For this, he approached all his work with great seriousness. She made a great effort and endeavor to internalize the “Democratic, Ecological and Women’s Liberationist” paradigm of our leadership and to have a life equivalent to this paradigm. The transformation of our party, the PKK, beyond the borders of Kurdistan into an international movement excited Comrade Ronî. After his successful practice in the Heftanîn area, he focused on his military training in order to deepen in the guerrilla style and tactics of the new period and to become a professional guerrilla, and successfully concluded these trainings. Having improved himself ideologically and militarily, our comrade Ronî returned to the Heftanîn area, where he made great efforts and admired its nature. During the attacks of the occupying Turkish state against Heftanîn, he always met the enemy at the front line and struck great blows. Our comrade Ronî, who took part in the mobile guerrilla teams, successfully put into practice the team warfare style he learned in the trainings. He took part in many actions against the enemy and became a source of strength and morale for his comrades with his courage and composure.

MALZUM QAMIŞLO
Our comrade Mazlum was born into a patriotic family in Qamişlo. Thanks to his family’s deep-rooted awareness of Kurdishness, our comrade Mazlum, who grew up loyal to his social values, was also aware of the colonial position of our people. With the beginning of the Rojava Freedom Revolution, he joined the ranks of the revolution like thousands of his friends and protected the gains of our people against the gangs. Comrade Mazlum, who had the opportunity to get to know Leader Apo and our movement more closely during the revolution, believed that our people’s aspirations for freedom and the struggle for selfhood could only be possible with the philosophy of the Leadership. Our comrade Mazlum, who determined deepening himself in the ideology of the Leadership as the main priority, has undergone significant changes in his personality. In every sense, he endeavored to become an individual in the dimensions of Democratic Modernity and succeeded in this to a great extent. Our comrade Mazlum, who foresaw the attacks that the occupying Turkish state would develop to eliminate the gains of our people, joined the guerrilla ranks in 2017. Our comrade Mazlum, who admired the mountains and nature of Kurdistan after joining the guerrilla, participated in guerrilla life without hesitation and calculation with the high morale he received. He continued his efforts to create Apoist militant characteristics in his personality in the guerrilla ranks, and with his pure, honest and self-sacrificing personality, he managed to be loved and respected by all his comrades. In order to respond to the genocidal attacks of the enemy against our people and to uproot the enemy from Kurdistan, he took it as a basis to develop himself militarily. In order to successfully apply the guerrilla tactics of the new era, he has taken it as a basis to train himself in every sense and has succeeded in becoming a professional guerrilla. Comrade Mazlum, who specialized in land-based team warfare, moved to the Heftanîn area in 2020. Our comrade Mazlum, who actively participated in the actions developed against the enemy’s invasion attack against Heftanîn, successfully fulfilled his leadership role in these actions.

QENDÎL DILBIRÎN
Our comrade Qendîl was born into a patriotic family in Reqa, North East Syria. After the capture of Reqa by ISIS gangs, our comrade Qendîl had to migrate with his family and decided to fight against ISIS gangs. Our comrade Qendîl, who started to take part in youth work on this basis, has made a significant effort in raising awareness and organizing hundreds of Kurdish and Arab youth. Comrade Qendîl, who fought effectively in the war against ISIS, continued his revolutionary march after the defeat of the gangs. The fact that thousands of people from Kurdistan and many parts of the world joined the ranks of the revolution to protect the people of North East Syria and reached martyrdom deeply affected our comrade Qendîl. For this reason, he devoted himself completely to the revolution and managed to become a professional revolutionary. Especially after the occupation of Afrin by the colonialist Turkish state in 2018, he sharpened his struggle even more. Our comrade Qendîl, who believes that the peoples of the Middle East cannot achieve their freedom without the defeat of Turkish colonialism, chose to join the ranks of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas, who are waging a historic struggle against this fascist mentality. After joining the ranks of the guerrillas, our comrade Qendîl began to understand his own reality and history better and more accurately. Our comrade Qendîl, who considered guerrillaism as the only way of success in the struggle against the occupiers, deepened himself in the guerrilla warfare style. Since Heftanîn 2019, our comrade Qendîl has taken part in many actions in the Heftanîn area where he is located and gained important experience in these actions. By sharing his experiences with his comrades, he enabled them to become professional Apoist guerrillas. Our comrade Qendîl, who has set his biggest goal as being a good militant of the Leadership and ensuring the physical freedom of the Leadership on this basis, has been the owner of a relentless struggle to achieve these goals. Our comrade Qendîl, who took part in the mobile guerrilla teams in the Heftanîn area, fought sacrificially and devoted to the values of the revolution until his last breath and reached martyrdom.”
