“Our comrades Tekoşer, Şervan, Baran and Akif were martyred in the attacks carried out by the invading Turkish state in the Marînos region of Wan on September 24, 2020. These comrades, each of whom is an exemplary Apoist militant, have succeeded in being a source of strength and morale for their comrades wherever they are, with their clear attitude towards the enemy, their sharpness in the struggle and their belief in victory. The martyrdom of these valuable comrades has been a reason for more struggle for us. We repeat once again our promise that we will succeed in the struggles handed over to us by these heroic comrades.

Our comrade Tekoşer was born in Êlih in a Koçer family. Our comrade Tekoşer, who is from a patriotic family, grew up with the heroic stories of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla. With the heroic epics he listened to, his admiration for the guerrilla increased day by day and he dreamed of becoming a guerrilla when he grew up. From his youth, he began to better understand the reality of the enemy, and he came to the conclusion that eliminating the danger of genocide on our people is only possible with guerrilla struggle. Although he was emotionally attached to the guerrilla, the conditions of our people were also influential in his participation, and he joined the guerrilla ranks in 2014 with a conscious choice.
In the ranks of the guerrilla, he was most influenced by the mountain life and comradely relations of our Party, and he devoted himself to the Party in every sense in order to be a good Apoist militant. Our comrade Tekoşer, who had his first guerrilla experience in the Garzan area, received basic guerrilla training there. He gained years of guerrilla experience with the basic education he received in Bakure Kurdistan. Later, in 2015, our comrade Tekoşer moved to Medya Defense Areas and practiced in this area until 2018. He participated in the action against the invaders many times in the Zap area and had the opportunity to test his military experience in practice. Our comrade Tekoşer, who approaches the military with great interest, has trained himself according to the style and tactics of the new era. Our comrade Tekoşer, who managed to correctly evaluate the deficiencies that emerged after every action he took, added a new one to his experiences each time. Our comrade Tekoşer, who has determined to share his war experiences with his comrades on the battlefields as his most basic duty, gave training in military academies for a while, and trained his comrades ideologically and militarily so that they could become pioneer militants. When the invading Turkish state’s attacks against Heftanîn were developing, this time he moved to Heftanîn’s area and assumed a duty as a leading commander there. He participated in the actions in the Heftanîn area as the attack column commander many times, and successfully fulfilled his pioneering role by approaching the enemy as much as a breath in these actions where heavy blows were struck against the enemy. Later, in 2020, he moved to Bakurê Kurdistan with great insistence and enthusiasm and continued to carry out his struggle in this field. Our comrade Tekoşer, who is not unfamiliar with the Bakurê Kurdistan practice, became the owner of a successful practice in a short time and gained the appreciation of all his comrades with this feature. Our comrade Tekoşer, who always showed his devotion to his martyred comrades and the responsibility of being worthy of them, and his modesty to see himself as inadequate, has been one of the most concrete examples of effort, courage and honest life.

Our comrade Şervan was born in the Sêgirkê village of Qileban as a member of the Goyî tribe, one of the patriotic tribes of Kurdistan. Our comrade Şervan was brought up in the same way as his family was devoted to patriotic and Kurdish values. Since the village where he lived and the surrounding area were the activity areas of our guerrilla forces, he had the opportunity to get to know the guerrilla early. He was influenced by the guerrilla’s comradely relations and lifestyle, and he always wanted to be a guerrilla himself. Although he wanted to join the guerrilla at a young age, he could not join because he was too young. However, when he reached his teenage years, he realized his childhood dream and joined the guerrilla ranks in 2014.
Although the decision of our comrade Şervan to join the guerrilla was a childhood dream, it has turned into a consciousness of participation as the ISIS gangs, which are eyeing our people’s gains in Rojava, have increased their attacks since 2014. Comrade Şervan, who received his first education in Medya Defense Zones after joining the guerrilla ranks, came to the fore with his hard work and hardworking personality. He spent every moment of his life understanding the guerrilla life and the Leader’s ideology, and made a great effort to become a good leader of the Leader. Comrade Şervan, who continuously develops suggestions to go to the aid of our Êzidî people, who experienced a great tragedy after the attack of ISIS gangs in Shengal, succeeded in fulfilling this request and moved to the Shengal area in 2015. He successfully took part in the epic war against ISIS gangs here. Our comrade Şervan, who participated in all the moves developed, fought with great courage and had an important role in removing the gangs from Shengal. Our comrade Şervan, who returned to the mountains of Kurdistan after the liberation of Shengal, was educated at the Mahsum Korkmaz Academy to account for his practice, learn lessons and share his experiences with his comrades. After the training he received, he deepened himself in the Leadership ideology and tried to organize his whole life on this basis. It also developed itself in the new period guerrillaism within the framework of the restructuring project. Based on the fact that it is difficult to protect the gains of our people without an effective struggle against Turkish colonialism, our comrade Şervan, who went to Bakure Kurdistan, was involved in the works with great morale and enthusiasm. Being aware of the historical process we are going through, Comrade Şervan has been involved in the works with the awareness that our people are closer to freedom than ever before. We promise that we will continue the struggle of our comrade Şervan, who is an exemplary militant with his courage, self-sacrifice and natural Botan personality, until victory.

Our comrade Baran was born and grew up in a patriotic family in the city of Bedlis in the Garzan region. Our comrade Baran, who felt great hatred and anger against the policies of genocide and annihilation against the Kurdish people, saw that the best answer to these policies and enemy attacks was the freedom movement and decided to join the guerrilla at a young age. Comrade Baran, who was impressed by the participation of his friends in the guerrilla and immediately put his decision to join the guerrilla, joined the guerrilla ranks from Garzan in 2015. Since the first day he joined, he has been able to win the attention and respect of his comrades with his devoted participation and responsibility in life. Comrade Baran, who faced the difficulties he faced in the guerrilla, did not delay in adapting to the difficult conditions with the help of his comrades. Our comrade Akif added many values to the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle, determined the criteria of patriotism with these values. The family of our comrade Akif closely witnessed the tortures inflicted on the Kurdish people by the fascist and genocidal Turkish state, and they were able to develop a patriotic awareness in themselves because they were subjected to these tortures. Coming from this conscious, patriotic family and growing up in such an environment, our comrade Akif was instrumental in getting to know the struggle for freedom at an early age. Again, from a young age, he started to have great respect and love for the freedom struggle and the guerrilla. Our comrade Akif, who joined the guerrilla in his youth and decided not to leave the weapons of his martyred comrades on the ground, joined the guerrilla ranks in 2015. After joining, he further developed his patriotic awareness, took firm steps towards becoming a freedom fighter, and made great efforts to reach the level of Apoist militant personality. Comrade Akif, who is extremely devoted to his martyred comrades, has made a great effort to keep the memories left by these comrades alive and to increase their struggle. Our comrade Akif, who practiced the training he received in life and shared what he learned with his comrades, has been in the position of learning and teaching with this feature. Our comrade Akif, who has made great progress in becoming a professional guerrilla with the military training he has received, has managed to become competent in the ideological field as well as in the military field. Our comrade Akif, who became competent with the training he received, turned his face to Botan, the holy land of the guerrilla. Our comrade Akif, who played an active role in dozens of actions against the enemy in Botan, kept the Apoist ideology alive not only with his action, but also with his determined and sharp stance in life, and in this sense, he dealt a heavy blow to the enemy.
Our comrades Tekoşer, Şervan, Baran and Akif won the respect and love of their comrades in the Botan field in a short time with their courage and self-sacrifice. With the participation of the workers, they successfully fulfilled their duties and responsibilities in Botan. As his comrades, we are very lucky to live and fight with such valuable Apoist militants. We renew our promise that we will not leave the blood of these heroic martyrs on the ground and that we will realize their biggest goal, the dreams of “Free Leadership and Free Kurdistan”, and extend our condolences to all our patriotic people of Kurdistan, especially their valuable families.
