BEHDINAN – HPG Press Center announced the balance sheet of the war between April 14 and June 14. HPG said, “The operation to invade Bashûrê Kurdistan targeting Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna areas has completed two months. The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas turned every place where the invaders were against this attack into a field of resistance and developed a historical war process. Although the occupying Turkish state used the most advanced warfare techniques of the age, NATO support and the collaborator betrayer Kurds behind it and bombed the Resistance Areas thousands of times with howitzers, mortars, attack helicopters and warplanes, it could not get results. The Turkish army, which was blocked in Zap, expanded the scope of its attacks to the west of the Zap Water on the night of May 25. However, our forces in the field responded to this move of the Turkish army with strong and effective actions on the basis of Cenga Xabûrê Şehîd Savaş Maraş Revolutionary Move. While the Turkish army wanted to overcome its blockage in Zap in this way, it both became more targeted by the guerrilla and failed to achieve its goal.”
THE FREEDOM GUERRILLA OF KURDISTAN IS LOCKED ON VICTORY
“The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, which restructured itself as a democratic modernity guerrilla on the basis of the Revolutionary People’s War strategy, has put new guerrilla tactics into practice with great mastery and creativity,” the statement said:
“The terrain-based position and tunnel warfare style and the mobile and semi-mobile team style, which skillfully uses every detail of the terrain, have proven their maturity in practice as the result-getting guerrilla style and tactics of the new era. The 2-month war period, which expresses a brand new stage and performance in military terms, also expresses a very important level in terms of the guerrilla’s belief, will, morale, motivation, determination and locking on victory. Our forces are a self-sacrificing force that has acquired the high consciousness and strong spirituality of the Apoist ideology, is determined to be free, and is willing to risk everything for the sake of fighting for this. It has been demonstrated that neither the techniques of the age, nor the brutal attacks of the Turkish state, nor the foot games of its henchmen can ever achieve results against the sacrificial guerrilla force. The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla has once again proved that it is the hope of freedom of all oppressed peoples and classes, especially the oppressed people of Kurdistan, by resisting with the Apoist sacrificial spirit under the most difficult conditions and paying great prices.
The Turkish army, which was helpless in the face of the historical resistance developed by our forces in the battle positions and tunnels, committed war crimes by using chemical weapons and explosives 779 times by putting dirty war methods into action again. In the face of all these attacks, our forces carried out many comprehensive and coordinated guerrilla actions in the spirit of revolutionary moves. By using ambush, infiltration, assassination, sabotage, coup and raid tactics intertwined, they made the invaders pay a heavy price. Our forces, who carried out Revolutionary Revenge Operations with a high attack spirit, personally went to the funerals of nearly 30 invaders and confiscated the identity, weapons and military equipment of many invaders, including ranks. Despite all these facts, the war criminal Turkish state has, as always, tried to hide its losses and continued to tell false stories of victory through the special war media.
HEAVY BLOWS WERE DEALT TO THE OCCUPIERS IN BAKURÊ KURDISTAN
The Turkish state has carried out hundreds of extensive operations against our forces in Bakurê Kurdistan, as well as in the Medya Defense Areas, but to no avail. Our forces, which frustrated most of these operations, also developed creative actions in Botan, Serhed and Amed and dealt heavy blows to the invaders.
Our heroic comrades, who reached martyrdom by fighting with the Apoist sacrificial spirit, led the epic resistance against the Turkish state that tried to occupy Kurdistan, stopped the comprehensive occupation operation and created important results. During this resistance process, which developed thanks to the great labor, effort, sacrificial resistance and stance of our martyrs, a total of 58 comrades, including 13 comrades in the chemical weapons attack, were martyred. The results created by the sweat and blood of our martyrs are the guarantee of our freedom and honor, as well as the instruction of victory for us.
