NEWS CENTER – HPG-BIM made a new statement regarding the invasion attacks of the Turkish state and the actions organized by the guerrilla.
In the statement, “As a result of the actions of our forces; 18 invaders were punished and 1 helicopter was hit. The invaders bombed their fighting positions and tunnels 18 times with chemical weapons, toxic smoke and explosives. The resistance areas were bombed 17 times by warplanes and dozens of times by howitzers.”
The statement included the following details:
Avashîn region;
- On June 4 at 12:30 and 14:00, the occupiers in Werxelê Resistance Area were targeted and hit with heavy weapons.
- At 11:50 on June 5, the invaders who wanted to position themselves around the war tunnels in Werxelê Resistance Area were hit with individual weapons.
In Metîna area;
- On June 3 at 14:45, June 4 at 12:55, June 5 at 12:05 and 13:05, the invaders in Girê Hakkari Resistance Area were shot by our forces with assassination tactics. In these actions, 4 invaders were punished.
- On June 5 at 19:00, the invaders around the Şehîd Zemanî battle positions in Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were targeted and struck.
- On June 5 at 19:50, the invaders around the Martyr Akîf battle positions in Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were targeted and hit.
- On June 5, between 17:00 – 18:00, the invaders in Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted and struck.
- Between 22:00 – 24:00 on June 5, a Skorsky attempting to land in Girê Jûdî Resistance Area was targeted and hit. The heavily hit helicopter had to leave the area without being able to land.
- At 10:20 on June 5, the invaders who took action in Girê FM Resistance Area were targeted and shot with simultaneous assassination tactics. While 5 invaders were punished in these strikes, the invaders retreated one level. At 12:00, while the invaders were coming to pick up their funerals, they were again targeted and 3 more invaders were punished. The bodies of the punished occupiers remained under the control of our forces until the evening
- On June 5th at 19:20, the occupiers in Girê FM Resistance Area were targeted and shot with individual and medium automatic weapons. In this action carried out by our YJA Star forces, 3 invaders were punished.
In Zap region;
- On June 5 at 18:00, the invaders trying to approach the war tunnels in Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area were intervened with individual weapons. After this intervention, the invaders retreated one level.
- At 16:20 on June 5, the invaders who wanted to position themselves in Karker Resistance Area were hit with medium automatic weapons.
- On June 5 at 19:45, the invaders lighting a fire in front of the war tunnels in Werxelê Resistance Area were targeted with heavy weapons.
- On June 5 at 23:20, on June 6 at 03:15 and 04:50, the invaders in Karker Resistance Area were targeted with assassination tactics. In this action carried out by our YJA Star forces, 3 invaders were punished.
- On June 6 at 06:20, the occupiers in Karker Resistance Area were targeted with individual and medium automatic weapons.
Attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives;
- On June 5, the war positions in the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were bombed with explosives.
- On June 5 at 19:45, the invaders set fire to tires and car tires in front of the war tunnels in the Werxelê Resistance Area and tried to direct them into the tunnels. This attack with toxic smoke continued until 21:00.
- On June 5, the war tunnels in Şikefta Birîndara and Karker Resistance Areas were bombed 7 times with chemical weapons and explosives.
- On June 5, in the morning, Girê Cehennem war tunnels in Çiyareş Resistance Area were bombed 1 time with explosives.
Attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish army with howitzers, attack helicopters and warplanes;
- On June 4 and 5, Çemço, Tabura Ereban and Werxelê Resistance Area were shelled with howitzers fired from the border outposts.
- On June 5, Girê FM; Çiyareş and Girê Rûbar Resistance Areas were bombed 7 times with war helicopters.
- On June 5 and 6, Girê Cûdî, Çemço, Werxelê, Saca, Ava Zapê Resistance Areas were bombed 10 times by warplanes.”
